      @@BWilliamthis has just happened to me and I was stuck thinking it could be the head gasket or the oil cooler housing.
      Could just replacing the oil cooler housing repair this or will we need to get behind the fire wall the access one of the hoses?

      @@xBadHairDay I can be replaced by removing the lower intake manifold. I have a long video showing the replacement on a front wheel drive version with the same engine.

    Changed my 2 times, First Time for an oil leak, second time for the Oil pressure sensor, not bad to do, hardest part is loosening the upper plenum Brackets on the Driver side. I went with The Aluminum one this time, I can’t imagine paying $800-$1000 to have this done ouch 😮 I also Changed the Spark Plugs, Coils and Oil Tube Seals this time. One coil had oil on it and caused a misfire last Winter.

      These 3.6 Pentastar oil filter Housings are good money makers for Repair Shops,they seem to fail a lot

      @@SilentBob1932 There is no shortage of these on the roads right now for sure. And definitely a high failure rate.

    Got a oil leak in my cherokee wondering if it could be this oil filter housing? Its either this or the oil pan itself so....

    • @BWilliam
      @BWilliam  16 дней назад

      @@NicholasCampbell-c8y Yes these will leak oil , it will pool up in the valley, and eventually it will spill down the back of the engine. Look for standing oil down at the base of the oil filter housing.

    Would this be the problem if it leaks when i start pouring the coolant into the radiator in a turned off cold truck?

    • @BWilliam
      @BWilliam  10 месяцев назад +2

      Quite possibly, take a flashlight and look down beside the base of the oil filter housing, look for coolant puddling in that area. It will fill up and then spill out over the back of the engine and top of transmission.
