These elevators are SUPER efficient. I love Elevonics, they hold up great and run extremely well and efficient.

I was never expecting to see these elevators in Thailand, these are very unique!
AWESOME ELEVATORS THAT ARE AS GOOD AS NEW!!!! I hope these NEVER get modded!!!! However, Otis Elevonic 401 was released in 1981, and discontinued in 1989 and replaced with the Elevonic 411 system. Either construction of this building took so long and this building didn't get completed until 1993, but the elevators were installed pre 1989, or the building is much older than you think

Still in as good as new condition. Otis used to build such great lifts. These lifts run fast and efficient, I bet they will outlive the current gen2 lifts.

Yeah, they are nostalgic for me. In the netherlands we have / had a variant of the series 1 called the Europa 2000. It was the european version of the seires 1 and I remember them from my childhood. I think they still look very modern and nicer then the otis 2000 and gen2. The series 1 fixtures are so much nicer then those gen2 fixtures. Also the 80's otis lifts where still a lot better in build quality too then their current lifts. Otis used to be the market leader, but nowerdays they seem to be a market follower with Kone beeing the innovative market leader nowerdays.

This is not from 1993. Elevonic 401 was discontinued and replaced with Elevonic 411 in 1989

I remember loads of these high rise Otis Elevonic lifts - For example, London/Shell Center, City Tower, used to be loads of them (not anymore)

There are on separate controllers. The call station calls the G-22 elevators & the other call station calls the G-30 elevators. The other 2 elevators doesn't serve floors 23-30. B2 & 1-9 are the parking levels. Floors 10-29 are the office floors. Floor 30 is probably the lounge. That's strange that the grandma voice says Lobby instead of ground floor. I wonder if thats the air conditioner on the 9th floor? Woah how didn't the doors reopened when you pressed B2?

I've seen two elevonic 401 installations in Auckland, New Zealand and they both had dual panels so guess it was standard, sadly they have both been modernized. One of the installations lasted for 31 years..

whats the difference between series 1 and elevonic 401?
Series 1 is the type of button and indicator fixtures. Elevonic 401 is the name of the elevator model(particularly the controller)

There is a 4th floor in this building. Because the elevator is so fast, it sometimes skips a floor on the indicator even though it serves that floor.
