My serpentine belt is way too loose, I have no idea what to do does anyone have any new ides, I have a brand new tensioner pulley, and brand new belt. Took off the belt to install a new alternator, everything went well, tried to put the old belt back on but it was way too loose, I would like to mention it was extremely tight when I took it off, it was perfect. But when I went to put it back on it was just ridiculously loose, bought a new tensioner pulley and belt and it changed nothing.
I am really enjoying your channel sir, keep up the good work!

Sounds like it's routed incorrectly. Get a belt routing diagram.
Where did you put the jack at the front?? We tried that and part of the oil pan cracked
I used a jack stand and a block of wood against the pan.
So you don't have to change the timing belt right?
I am wondering the same as well?
You don't have to, but it's a good idea while you have it all off if you are due for one.
on this engine, it has a timing chain, and to change the water pump it looks like you don't have to even take off the timing cover.
How much should this job cost?
