    How did you fasten the unit in place to stay in transit

      The Hardware store will call it "Perforated Metal Strap" Or "Perforated Metal Hanging Strap". My Dad and I call this stuff plumbers tape. Outside by the compressor where its exposed they have places to straddle this metal tape and secure it to the floor with screws. Thanks for bringing this up, cant believe I forgot to add that.

    if your fridge is like the one I put in mine in trailer the sides are the condenser elements. small suggestion remove the insulation from the sides. Other than that great job and I had a 12vdc one that failed in a year so I added inverter batteries and panels and will never go back to any other fridge than 120vac.

      Nice Job making the switch! I believe my consdensor is on the side as well. So far it working great, so I think it has the breathing room required. I still might end up doing it down the road though to see if it improves performance. Thanks @larryfrias8010 for the tip. Its a really good one and an easy way to fix a big problem.
