The powerful pop confessional of the other woman - “Hollow” by Allegra Jordyn & Melina KB - shares a unique perspective of feeling like a placeholder for a girlfriend far away. These two leading indie artists join forces to expose a boy so momentarily overwhelmed with loneliness that he’ll use you to fill a space just to leave you hollow the second he returns to the one he really loves. Allegra and Melina co-wrote this track together in Boston, Massachusetts three years ago, writing lyrics in the back bers, staying up until 3am every night with class in the morning, and somehow managing to finish the song over text only an hour before debuting it on stage. Two versions of “Hollow” were produced from two different countries during a global pandemic, and are both being released to showcase the distinct creative sounds of both artists. This is a clever collaboration you don’t want to miss!
