- Today is the day our beautiful baby Girl female puppy Mikki goes out for the first time! She received all her vaccines and safe to be out!! She was really nervous in the beginning but really comfortable! Did not like the grass but it's her first walk!

She is very delicate and small..always need a watchful eye..her walks are very short since shih tzu will get tired easily

Her amazing twin , Ebony, mises her like crazy!.!! They were 2 peas in a pod!! She was SO loving & SO sweet & cute. I have to cry in secret b/c Ebony knows when I am upset. Every time I come home & open the back door, she is looking behind me to see if her 'Sissy' is coming home too. It's killing me!!

I have an 8 year old Shihtzu and he is my jogging buddy. He loves to run and keeps up with my pace. One day he accidentally got out without his leash and I was trying to get him back inside. He thought we were gonna go jogging and that I was playing with him so he ran as fast as he can for a few blocks. Good thing someone saw the chase, caught him and returned him to me....whew! I love this breed of dog. They are very sweet, loves cuddles and good to have around when you have kids. 🐶🐶🐶❤️❤️❤️
I recently saw a video on tv a shih poo was off the leash and running on the expressway...10 guys was chasing him and no one could catch him till the last min..they are so fast! I still remember this day...we were afraid she was too scared to walk or to move..but so opposite. Lately weather has been getting very cold here and rainy...mikki walking has gone less this week...thank you hoang for watching mikki again

I love him! Please make sure to keep the hair around the eyes cut. My pup got an eye infection that almost took her vision. Cost me $1300 in medical bills. I didn’t mind the cost but she was in pain. You’re gonna enjoy that breed! So much fun🐶 Had my baby 6 years now💕

I had a Lhasa Apso and she reminds me of him 🥰🥰🥰 he's in heaven now (he was 14, so he lived a lot, more than we expected as he was chronically sick (not very serious but he had to be medicated his whole life)).

I had a shitz zu that unfortunately passed away at 14 at Christmas 2019. I said I could never go through that again. I now have another one that will turn one in 4 months. I absolutely love this breed of dogs. I grew up with dogs having had everything from small poodles to German shepherds. Although I love all dogs sorry except pit bulls my favorite is the shitz zu. So easy to train and great disposition but I will say they are the most expensive in caring for. Something anyone getting this dog needs to know they need extensive grooming which is very costly. If you think you can't afford it dont get this dog it's to painful for them without having grooming done often. I have also found they are extremely picky eaters both of mine would only eat the most expensive food. But overall they are great very friendly to friendly be careful someone doesnt try and steal your dog. Mine would walk right up to a bad guy. Just when you think worrying about your children in this world is enough stress get a shitz zu.

I love mikki..I dont know what we would do without her..you are so correct.. we got Mikki during the whole covid19 pandemic..we are from illinois..as the cases increase so much..we felt so sad and depress...mikki change us .warm our hearts and put a smile to our faces..they are lovely dogs and will love everyone..and I mean even the bad guys too! Super picky eaters! Getting Mikki to eat is a challenge!! This is why I gotta find different ways to feed her. Thank you for your time! Thank you for watching!! I hope this video brings back memories to your shih tzu.
I groomed my Shih Tzu's myself. I preferred to style them like show dogs and sometimes did my hair to match theirs. If you never introduce them to food other than what they need to eat, they won't be picky.
Walking my dog in a local park one day, a young child squealed with delight when he spotted her; and ran right up to her to play. The mother just froze in amazement at first, and then started excitedly asking me what breed she was. Then she followed up with, her son was mortally AFRAID of dogs, and Babycakes just took care of that! Shih Tzu’s are the BEST!

Omg my shih tzu is 1 and I remember our first walk. She was little like this baby. (I also have that same harness but it’s for my chihuahua). To this day my shih tzu loooooves walks. and she’s so good. She just loves looking around and prancing. It’s the best part of my day.

They are delightful little dogs and a wonderful breed. We are on our second one and have had he now for nearly eight years. She is a very loving dog but likes to sleep the majority of the time. It’s her favorite occupation.

I have a 7 yo rescue . He's one cool little dude . Everyone in my neighborhood knows his name . The mailman and the FedEx driver stop their trucks to say hello . They are a great breed .

Hi casey!! Shih tzu are indoor dogs..that's for sure. They are tiny and delicate...sometimes our pup just needs some fresh air..we walk Mikki base on the weather conditions..she doesnt go out all the time..if it's too hot .she must say indoors otherwise she gets too dehydrated

My little girl weighs 5 pounds and bosses me around so much. Her favorite thing to do is get in between my wife and I in bed and wants us both to rub her and love on her sooooo much.

@@MikkiShihTzu Our Mimi does that same little dance /march. Folks say dogs are all the same but in reality they all have different personalities. Some friends say our Mimi is mean. She only loves us, her Mommy and Daddy. When a thunderstorm rolls around she has to be held and hidden under the blankets with us.
I remember Mikki's videos from the beginning. Love all the outfits she wears & all the trips she goes on & I especially like her Daddy's vids. Well.....she was moms dog originally....until mom couldn't take care of Mindy ....my wife and I took her and started giving her fresh pet as she was missing a few teeth....but it was healthy for her because of the vegetables and ez to chew and digest..

Just a precaution: suggest in walking your cute puppies, always bring along a fully charged electric stick in case an unfriendly dangerous breed on-the-loose attacks your baby
Thank you for the idea! Actually in our area..there is lot of coyotes..we look around first before walking our pup...having some kind of protection would be a good idea or some kind of horn..beeper to scare them off...I will take more precautions now!! Thank you for the advice!

@@MikkiShihTzu there are always irresponsible owners of dangerous breeds like pitbulls, bull terriers, etc , who may not be able to keep their dogs inside their yards. agree , they are indoor dogs , no heat , no cold I had shih thzus 45 years if you want them have a long healthy life keep them indoors , my dogs lived 15 / 16 years

Your baby is so adorable. Mskes me miss my 2 shih tzus. My mommy live 16 1/2 yrs and died of old age. Her daughter lived 15 yrs snd fief of an inoperable brain tumor . They were the perfect dogs. So smart, compatible with all ages and other pets. I wish I could have another one.
