- The media often portrayed Princess Diana as someone who was charming, charismatic, high spirited, captivating and loving, which I strongly believe to be true. However, the tell all BBC Panorama interview by Martin Bashir described a woman who was also deeply distressed by powerful forces that did not have her best interest at heart. Although based on both facts and speculation, the film Spencer explores a side of Diana Spencer that very few knew about.
Love her so much. Her accolades and nominations are so well-deserved. ✨🏆

Is so true and that’s what the Royal family did to her. Now they’re doing it to Harry and Meghan. It’s come to light that the man who signed the decision to not allow Prince Harry to pay the bill for protection while in Britain was the Queen’s private secretary. If you don’t fit in or see the underside of the Royal family then you’re isolated and destroyed. I guess everyone’s expected to forget Charles deceiving a 19 year old. As soon as she gave him the children he needed he went right back to his affair with Camilla. Diana had her 1st affair with the cad Gilbey, who sold her letters for money, after Charles had been committing adultery for over a year and then the two other men. The Dr. and Dodi Fayed. She wanted someone to love her. I hope someone did.

Honestly the movie as a little odd, ad the score kinda reminded me of Birdman for some reason, but her acting was superb.

Kristen's accent was excellent, as was her acting. (I thought Kristen did an excellent job.) The story was a bit far-fetched dramatically, re how they wanted Kristen to portray Diana. (I found the music abstract/disturbing in some portions of the film.) Would have liked the movie to follow along the lines of an actual drama, rather than 'trying' to season it with a bit of 'shock' factor.
Sorry but I disagree. It's very VERY obvious that she's struggling and putting on an act. Not at all natural. I watched Diana from the very beginning and the difference between this actress pretending to be Diana and the real Diana is beyond immense.
@@dswilliams2686 After a half hour of this movie, I had to leave. It was so disturbing in every sense of the word. Kristen Stewart did not do Princess Diana justice at all.
