I think the girl singing is speaking in Korean. Cuz I heard 점점. Hehe. This is the kind of music that I imagine about when it's raining and I'm sitting on a train traveling alone to a new place. Or maybe I'm in leaving a cafe with an espresso in hand and I'm staring up at the city lights spanning across the billboards and buildings of Time Square. Despite the chaos and business of the city, there's this quiet and serene aura that is peaceful and relaxing. Maybe it's the music that sounds through the streets in Japan as a man throws host club flyers in the street before walking off to his next destination. Maybe a couple is taking selfies in a park while little kids are running around in the fountains. This music just has that rainy-day, calm and collective "chill" nature. I love it. Thank you Shawna for always bringing life to my musical journey and playlists. I too love sharing music I find and I hope one day I can share my discoveries to an audience like yours.
Great video. I like how you aren't afraid to just make something, whatever it is. It seems like you always make whatever you want, whether it is a vlog, something funny or just something.
Nice. Short but sweet. I liked the square artificial frame thrown in for rhythm. An editor I work with wouldn't let that fly. Like, she doesn't like handheld shots, which is stupid to me, because she has a standard of what is "correct" and what is "wrong" to do in film. I like this video because a lot of what you do is based on feel, which to me is the only way to go. Once you learn the techniques, it's time to do what feels right and what you think tells the story as you imagine it. I'm venting a little in your comment section. Sorry.
Even thought there were so many things to focus on from music to images, the vibe of the video was kinda relaxing because of the piano. So weird and creative, I loved it from the first second to the last!

These type of videos are IMO your best videos. It's very reminiscent of that Midnight City one in Japan you made 3(!) years ago, which is still your banner image btw. Hope you do more of these!

When it comes to music videos, especially because yours are much more artistic, non-linear and poetic, do you have a storyboard in mind as your shooting, or its more when you are in post-prod and editing does the music video take shape and you know how it will turn out?
