Good job Shawna. I particularly like 0:52. I know you used blend modes but I can't quite figure out what is the other image. I do like the use of the slight flash of light to have the motion ramp up and down to the beat of the song.

***** Thanks, dawg! I freaking love the FS. It has been the best partner for artsy junk since I got it. Unfortunately the flicker with most lights is a nightmare; it's always an issue. It's such a high fps that the light just CAN'T HANDLE IT.

Gorgeous! I love the water overlays on the smoke, and the bits where the motion slows down for a few seconds. I like how beautiful it the whole thing is without making it sexual. I also like how you can't tell exactly where you are in the water/smoke shots. Outside? Inside? A lake? A bathtub? There's palpable mystery in this video. The only thing I would do to keep that mystery going would be to film the daytime wood shots somewhere without pre-made paths in the snow. But maybe you weren't going for mystery?? Either way, excellent craftsmanship on this.

Literally came back to this video just to tell you that you made me absolutely obsessed with this song.
My opinion?: The songs sounds great and the voice perfect but the video clip is not the right for that kind of song and you repeat the same effects that's not right for a video clip, you need more inspiration how to make a video clip. Follow the song, close your eyes and dream by following the words of the song.

You know, I don't make a whole lot of them but you are one of the reasons that I was inspired to make music videos. Like you seem to have a real artistic eye with these sort of the things and the outcomes are just beautiful. I'm still discovering editing effects and whatnot, so I'm not at the same level but I just wanted to leave a comment (because for one thing, you said "and leave a comment or whatever." so..) and I think you're purty brilliant.
