I'd also add that another good tool is utilizing colors. I've found that even if I wasn't able to remember something exactly, I can remember writing something about it in say purple. Then I remember that for this chapter I assigned purple to anti-hypertensives. It helps narrow the choices down at least!

I’m in a straight to RN program that is only one year and three months long. My pharmacology class is only 8 weeks long because the program is so short. We have class once a week and a test every time we go to class. It’s SO HARD! But I’m going to make it. Good luck everyone! We can do it.

Luckily, I took PHARM Prior to my nursing application. I would suggest that between semesters, that all who are reading review and actually go through ALL the flash cards again periodically. Let's face it, most of the info we are beating into our heads is lost if we do not do this.

i WISH our exams were 5-8 chapters. In my class, the first exam was 13 chapters. I passed but I feel like they're making it harder than it needs to be with the structure of the class

I’m starting my Pharmacology class in 2 weeks along with taking patho and microbiology....getting ahead start on all 3 classes. I just finish my scheduling for micro and reading and organizing my notes for chapter 1. Now I’m starting on pharmacology!

Luckily, I took PHARM Prior to my nursing application. I would suggest that between semesters, that all who are reading review and actually go through ALL the flash cards again periodically. Let's face it, most of the info we are beating into our heads is lost if we do not do this.

I love your videos !! I am going in to month 3 of a "condensed" LPN program. A class mate sent me a link to your Medical Math (weight base calculations) and I think it's helping out already. We have started Pharmacology and just when I think I am getting it . . . I'm not quite there. I would like to add a study guide and was wondering if you could suggest one that you have used or liked. i WISH our exams were 5-8 chapters. In my class, the first exam was 13 chapters. I passed but I feel like they're making it harder than it needs to be with the structure of the class
