Do you ever have days open to the public?

Hi Simon. That's lovely idea, but we operate in a dangerous workshop environment, not suitable for the general public. We occasionally show customers around for training and hands on experience with the robots. But open days aren't something we can currently accommodate. We really appreciate your interest though.

it is cool but is it really a robot or a very expensive toy puppet. To me, a humanoid robot should have mobility and be able to perform a useful task. So far all I see are robots dancing and entertaining people using Puppeteering and the odd Soccer match. I need a robot to help clean my house and do the laundry.

Explain why you would spend $100,000 on a robot to do utility tasks?
Note in 30years Boston Dynamics have never sold 1 commercial robot.. The company costs 100m a year to run. Work that out

Why would you spent $50,000 on a puppet to sing Singing in the Rain? If I am going spend that kind of Money on something like this it had better be able to fold my Laundry while it it singing. Boston Dynamics is Developing Robots for the Military they are not Selling to the Public, I inquired already.

Why would you spend $50,000 on a puppet that sings "Singing in the Rain". A "Robot" in that price range should be able to do more. You can buy Pepper for $25,000 and it can move around and interacts safely with people. The Walker Robot is going to be sold for around $30,000 and it is a domestic robot that can Walk and it CAN do your Laundry, costing less than one years salary for a domestic worker. So why would people spend $50,000 for something that looks like a talking toaster that you have to bolt to the floor? RoboThespian is cute but not worth $50,000 more like $5,000 - $10,000 compared to other offerings for half the money that provide so much more, something to think about. You guys do some great work but this is not a Robot and it is not worth $50,000.
As for Boston Dynamics they are a Research Company developing Robots For Search and Rescue and Military Applications they are not interested in selling to the Public, I inquired already.
