I have to say this is my favorite piece by you to date. It is interesting how the two sounds of the soothing synth and the deep and powerful distorted sounds just mix so well together. The first time I heard this I wasn't paying attention to the browser and I had thought that it changed songs on me halfway through but when it came back to the synth I almost fell out of my chair. Granted I may have had my headphones a little bit too loud but it was worth it!

I wouldn't say that music needs to be restricted by genre but imagine if genre's didn't exist. You would have absolutely no way to find similar music if you liked the way something sounded. People should make music they want and see where it fits as a genre not make for a genre, that's what I think.

I fundamentally disagree with this. I'd rather see a varied fanbase than a circlejerk, personally. I have no idea how levels feels about this though.

I'm sorry that I can't exactly answer your question... "Rock" and "Bass" are pretty general terms, I suppose something like the songs of Pendulum could be considered to incorporate elements of Rock and Bass Music (you meant this, right?) - at varying degrees.
IMHO, Art in overall has developed to a state where seemingly all types of art/genres were crossed with each other/influenced by another genre, that's why the concept of music restricted to one particular genre might seem so odd.
SGAP is still making pony music.
His next track (which I strongly believe will be called "AJ / PP" or somthing like that) will be out pretty soon, and there's a possibility he will put some good ol' pony lip-splicing in it, like he did with RD / RA.
That said, his last pony track was released 3 months ago.
Personally, I like how the song seems to change it's style, intro and outro sound completely different from the vocal-less wub parts (to me at least)...
And it feels bad to not appropriately compliment your work because of a severe lack of comprehension of even the very basics of music.
Anyway, I can't help but say that this song and the cover art are totes gorgeous.
Well, technically yes, there are still new musicians entering the fandom for the first time and providing new music, but they're not even coming close to the fame and/or the quality reached by the "old" musicians that recently left the bronymusic scene, unfortunately...
He isn't stating his music shouldn't appeal to a large group of people. He is stating that he shouldn't produce like a product of a focus-group polling people what kind of music they like. He is stating that he shouldn't care who it appeals to, as long as it appeals to himself.
I Love your music. Don't try to change to appeal to some other new group of people. Keep making the music you feel like doing and you will easily retain a loyal following.
You are easily better than any of the electronic artists i listen that are on labels.
