You know... I may be chastised for saying so, but the lyrics and the processing you do at parts is actually sort of reminiscent of early Panic! at the Disco. Much more electronic, but I actually really love the feel. Wow. I am super excited for this album now!
This song is my personal favorite out of the album, if not for the dark tone or the melody, then for the lyrics near 2:22. "Exhale, slide down your spine, your body's all but mine..." Could I request for more songs like this one?
I've listened to this song a million times and I just noticed the "hey" in the background at 0:17. Right in the middle of "am I nevertheless (hey) just a mannequin..." and I've never heard it before. Nobody else seems to have noticed it and it seems really out of place and I have no idea how it slipped past me so many times.
Damn this is my favorite song from the album and I never noticed it, guess it's buried deep in the mix since it's easy to miss even if you're paying attention

I personally like the darker tone of the singing in "Exhale and Forgive" but you can tell that the quality in this version is much better
