belive me, germany knows baby metal.
Their 2 Live concerts in germany at the festivals Rock im Park and Rock am Ring was Fking awesome (and the second biggest stage was too small for all the PPl. that wantet to see them),
especially the live version of RATATATA live with Electric callboy was awesome

The fact Momometal does harsh vocals on the second, “Are you ready?” Blew my mind.

    BabyMetal and Feuerschwanz
Wandering Samurai walks into an 8th century Teutonic village, orders a fermented beverage, locals mock the guy and hilarity ensues.
    .. oh wait, that's Ding.
But a high-gain Koto/Doom-Celtic Harp dueling solo would be EPIC !!

    Welcome back to the Foxhole.🦊🤘🔥
BMTH - Kingslayer feat. BM isn't a new song, it was released in 2020, although just recently (last year) was the first time they performed together live.
If you see comments talking about how cool was one of the singers turning around at the end, that's a reference to a video reaction they did a couple of days ago. But the one who really looks cool are oc the ladies striking a pose near the end which is also the pose they used when performing live right from the beginning.💃
Last weekend of May they played this song at FOX_FEST Festival in Japan along with Electric Callboy, everyone went bonkers with this awesome collab of the year and hit of this summer. They recently released the official live if you don't wanna stop and keep pushing it to the limit.
Also last weekend played together once again at Rock Im Park in Germany twice, one during EC show and the other one during BM show wearing cool new outfits. After that they played again at Rock Am Ring and we already got cool proshot clips.
Pretty sure they will play this at Download Festival too, at least that's my guess.
Polyphia were also at FOX_FEST playing a set and the guitarists Tim Henson and Scott Le Page played together with BM the song Brand New Day, they're special guest in the album version, they were looking for this since a very long time ago and also fans waited for this.
Next suggestion to enjoy another super collab they did prior to this:
    - F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV.
Can you imagine BM x Slipknot? Well recently at Sick New World the girls played there but also went to see them live and also did a short interview at Rock Sound talking about how excited they are and looking for a collab together, although SuMetal and MoaMetal did a cameo at Corey Taylor - CMFT Must Be Stopped, so... OTFGK.
Hope to see you around with more BM songs.
    See you next time 🦊🤘🐭

Great reaction - yes this is a great collaboration and it worked. As for Nico and Kevin joining in with the BABYMETAL choreo, they said they tried for a couple of seconds and couldn't do it, so they just vibed at the back.
BABYMETAL's feature on 'Kingslayer' with BMTH was recorded in 2020 - it took them 3 years to be able to perform it live together.
Electric Callboy and BABYMETAL have already played 'RATATATA' together half a dozen times (there is even an official live video from when they did it at Fox-Fest in Tokyo).
BABYMETAL did also play their song 'Brand New Day' live with Tim Henson and Scott Le Page at Fox_Fest and that song was recorded for their 2019 album.
Su-metal did say in an interview quite recently that she was love to collaborate with SlipKnot ... so who knows.
Collaborations with rappers you say? 'PA PA YA' with Thai rapper F Hero was 2019 and more recently with both F Hero and Thai rock band Bodyslam on 'Leave It All Behind'.
Also (less popular among The One for whatever reason) BABYMETAL featured on Lil Uzi Vert's song 'The End'.

Over the years Babymetal has done a lot of collabs. However, you are right that Babymetal is exposing themselves to divergent audiences by collaborating with different artists from different countries. Since the release of their last studio album in 2023, we have seen Babymetal release or feature in four collaboration videos:
Metali: a collaboration with Tom Morello (USA)
Kingslayer - with Bring Me The Horizon (UK) This was an older track, but the two bands had never had the chance to perform it together live
Leave It All Behind - with F.Hero and Bodyslam (Thailand); and
Ratatata - with Electric Callboy (Germany).
This does appear to be a deliberate strategy to expose themselves to potentially new audiences before they release any new album they might have planned. This is pretty clever, as it has kept new music coming without burning an actual "Babymetal" track. This approach keeps Babymetal in front of, and expanding audiences, while touring their current album and keeping "real" Babymetal songs for any new album they might be planning or working on. Very smart.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛. BABYMETAL will return to USA and go on tour from Nov. thru Dec. to perform 18 concerts at 15 venues.
I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 😄. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (and group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!)
★ The official live video was posted in RUclips !!
The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. Now the 3 girls and 2 boys are doing this song with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways, in some European festivals 💛。

Just their stage setups for one concert are multi-million dollar productions.
BABYMETAL is THE best LIVE band on the planet

Yes, collaborations are the way to expand your target audiences. But metal is a niche genre everywhere and anything mixed with metal will always make you a niche band or group. If Suzuka wanted to make REAL money she could just follow her career as a pop singer in Japan. BABYMETAL would have never existed (and that also applies to many of the Japanese Bands that emerged thanks to them) and we wouldn't be here enjoying and talking their music and this crazy good collaboration.
Rapper you say? I believe it already happened and... no, thanks. 😅

Well the old featuring has no real meaning anymore in Boston Electric Callboy had a concert and Babymetal had a Day off, so they made a visit to Electric Callboy, at first they didn't want to stay long, then they realized they are like us. A totally correct Evaluation both were founded in 2010, both heavily intermix Metalwith other music stylen. Su was thaught from a small age to get through even the heaviest noise curtains of heavy music. Nico (soft) and Kevin (growl) can do the same at Electric Callboy. This evening both sides started their Anti Cirona Workflows. And their Backoffices started to work to share first ideas later Sound files with each other. And when the Version counter reached 20, they knew tjex mightbhave a release Candidate, so the song had to go to more and more people. Electric Cowboy wanted to produce a Video (one of their guitarists is co owner of a video Company, that produces by default all Electric Callboy Videos. We can only guess how nany culture shocks both companies got. Why did Babymetal start a Workflow Choreographie when a Song went to the finished Status... while some people knew something about the Partner Company most did not.
This is in fact a Workflow that that Su mentioned a long while ago, feature not only her voices but the whole Babymetal Workflow into other songs. That is the whole purpose of this Workflow but it is still in the learning Phase. This was one of the reasons why Electric Callboy was so interesting for them. They were build around the same basic concepts but in totally different music markets Japan is the second biggest isolated music market, Germany (and Austria and a part of the suisse) is the third biggest Isolated music market. So they were a crash of cultures. Both sides saw constantly weird Features, but if you checked the details, it made sense in their World.. We can also guess hiw shocked electric Callboy was when they realized that Momo might growl, Kevin is one of their biggest Features. So how can you hide something like this. This was what Su wanted, totally different cultures and while you interact with them you find details about yourself. And when they were invited to Germany for the Video Shooting (the second time both bands met !) They were offered the chance to play some ideas or act parts of the video, this was obviosly a Christmas Gift for them. And the camera Crew learned to hate times when Babymetal and Nico and Kevin shared frames. The girls are tiny so you always have to work with forced perspective. One of the reasons why they constantly flee. Get them out of this frame. Let us handle the girls. A new Experience for Nico and Kevin.
Well Disco is in Germany heavily connected with Sex, a reason for their extremly direct text. I don't think that Japan would have known the direct answer, so I expect that the German Backoffice got involved. If males come through the Wall don't directly refuse, but make it clear that it is the females choice. So the japanese intersection wgere Si injects, that she wants to lure men, so no the girls are not totally confused but they wonder, how did we that?
Then the Boys try to flee from this weird girls and the girls follow. And when Nico doesn't Dallas with the door into the househe sees that Su acknoledges. And then they return to Kevin and lead over to "Dancing". In principle a simple Male Theme, Female Theme and the conversion of both themes. So nothing really complicated and in fact they integrated Momos Growls with their own geowls, so a direct fusion. And this obviously impressed Momo and the japanese Team.

With "Kingslayer" we were just waiting for a collab or feature to eventually happen. BMTH and BABYMETAL first met in 2015 and kept in touch. From my understanding BMTH, especially Ollie, befriended them because they were very young teen girls performing at the big metal festivals, which must have been intimidating for them. Then in 2019, BABYMETAL asked BMTH to open for them for the final leg of their world tour ending in Japan. Then when "Kingslayer" was released in 2020, Ollie made a mini doc video explaining that when they opened for BABYMETAL in front of 20,000 people, it was a huge crowd for them and it helped their fanbase in Japan grow, so he wanted BABYMETAL to be on one of their songs to show his appreciation. He mentions that BABYMETAL's people originally submitted all English lyrics, but Ollie said he wanted them to sing in Japanese. Then in 2023 they FINALLY got to perform Kingslayer live together! There is an old photo online of Ollie surprising the very young girls by wearing a BABYMETAL t-shirt with the sleeves torn off (I believe he performed his set wearing it too). The looks on the girls faces is priceless!🤘🦊🤘

Lol nice, but looks like you missed a few years. Kingslayer was 2020. Since then, Babymetal also featured Tom Morello, and collabed with F.Hero and Bodyslam from Thailand before this one.
Ratatata is a true 50/50 collab. Also, they’ve done a ton of live performances together already, including an official live from FOX_FEST on Babymetal’s channel.
Also, while Kevin and Nico may not be the best “dancers”, they definitely bring that dad energy and just vibe haha. “My body is a weapon!”
On Slipknot: Babymetal jammed out to their set from backstage at Sick New World Vegas. Su said she’ll love to collab with Slipknot during an interview. Corey Taylor already featured Babymetal briefly in his MV for CMFT Must Be Stopped (video only). Corey’s son is a big Babymetal fan. So…. Fingers crossed for BabyKnot! 😂

Do you remember Tower of Power? For a long time, the Tower of Power horn section rented themselves out to many bands. Babymetal could do the same thing for choruses, because their choruses just hit.
