Late to this party. Thought I'd still comment. 23 tundra trd OR limited, running +1 on tire size (275/65 on the r20 trd rims), i love the 4x4 I've been able to do. Oregon here ran the coast dunes, couple national forest OHV parks and did a rock climb that put my first scrape in the frame (drug the right rear over a rock face but we made it!) Truck looks sick man i need an aftermarket front bump. The 4lo for rear locker is annoying but oh well.
Yeah 4lo for locker is definitely a thing with this truck. But I noticed that 4hi doesn’t even need lockers if I leave the rest of the systems alone, atrac is pretty amazing at getting traction and stopping the spinning wheels. My only issues have been when I bury my diff or get high centered.
I agree, that 80 series in that exact color was my dream growing up…will have to get one in the future…for now the Tundra is my fun machine! Thanks to Southern Style Off road I can actually take it on trails without catching my bumper on rocks 🤣🤣🤣 the Tundra is super capable now that the front bumper has so much clearance. Also the sliders are huge and provide lots of protection. Gives me piece of mind. Stock it was definitely not handling. But a stock 80 series with good tires could probably be fine on these trails lol 😂
The tires are actually a great size….got me through a lot. I would say portals and 40’s would be even better with a nice fender solution, either cutting the fenders and bedsides or getting bigger ones in the future if McNeil racing or another company ever makes them for the 3rd gen. But I get no rub really right now.
It's amazing seeing this truck do these things. I had my 22 tundra 8 months and had to get rid of it because it was falling apart and never touched dirt, so this is interesting lol.
@@enjoytheridedude yeah I've watched all your videos, your doing great. Yea it was unfortunate I was so excited about my truck, pre ordered it got it December 23rd traded it in last week. The interior seat panels kept breaking. A/c vents wouldn't stay in place. Panel gaps on the truck. The infotainment system cutting out constantly.... Etc... I loved the truck when everything worked but unfortunately what I got was junk. Enjoying your videos keep it up
@@jablonowskibrandon oh yeah I have all those problems except for the vents, and I might have that issue too but I probably don’t notice it lol 😂 Eventually I’m stripping the whole interior out of this thing and turning it into a dedicated off road rig, goal is King of Hammers ten years from now.
@@enjoytheridedude I was told it's because I'm big 6'6" but I'm like then advertise not fit big guys. Then I was told that that have had trouble getting parts from their normal supplies so the quality isn't as great. I'm like I didn't get a discount. I enjoyed the truck but just couldn't get over all that other stuff
Carbon Shocks where in the mail, just got to my house today. I was on the Rough Country spacer this whole video. If I was on the Coilovers I would be wheeling even harder!!! Lol 😂
Hey neighbor. How much for the sliders? I’m only a little over an hour from BR and really want a set. I’m in a Solar Octane TRD Pro, Westcott 3/1, and 35x12.5 Nitto Ridges. I have factory running boards but hate them. My wife needs them though. lol. Id at least like to have something functional instead. Are you happy with the sliders? Are they low enough to clear everything below?
The sliders are amazing…I don’t know how much they will be or when they will be ready. Go to www.southernstyleoffroad.com and send them a message. The more they know there is interest in Tundra parts the quicker they will get them going into production. The focus is on the bumper now. Go ahead and let them know you’re interested and they’ll get you a set. As big as this truck is, these sliders are essential if you want to really wheel. I am telling you I used them over and over and over and they give me peace of mind.
@@enjoytheridedude Absolutely. Ive already got a CBI bumper. I wanted to keep the factory look but have somewhere for a winch and recovery points/ hooks. I will definitely reach out to the guys at SSO and see what they can do for me. Id take a set immediately if I could!
Dude, you moved to TN? I saw your truck again downtown Franklin today. I feel like I’m stalking you. Told my kid I bet it has Louisiana tags and it had TN tags! You moved??
These trails are in Tuscumbia Alabama at Hawk Pride Mountain off road park, but Texas has a few nice off road parks, one close to Austin and other close to Texarkana and another close to Lubbock.
@@enjoytheridedude "close to Austin" are you talking about Hidden Falls in Marble Falls, or something closer to Austin? This Austinite needs to know! P.S. I'm too OCD to risk my Tundra! Lol. I've got a TJ for off-roading.

the one dude that actually uses the truck off road. So awesome.
Ah yes. Definitely the only guy on RUclips making off-road content with a truck.
Thank ya’ll so much !!
I’ve been off-roading with mine too but mine is just off-road model nothing fancy on it yet
This guy is doing it right... since he first got that truck. Looks great I plan to lift mine here real soon.
Thank you so much! I’m really happy to be a part of such an awesome community!!
Dude, I LOVE your videos!! Keep it up. You did a great work with this truck.
Thank you 🙏
Awesome! Been dying to see your truck in action
Shocks coming soon so even more fun after that!
W O W !!!! We love the ride, but I believe everyone here can agree that it’s DEFINITELY time for a lift kit on that sweet ride 🫵👀
Happy to see you get it back off-road where ot belongs.
Yes sir! Thank you so much !
You’re the man! Poor wife, I would get a panic attack too. I would be afraid to take my truck off road like you. Great video.
Thank you so much! Yeah she is a trooper

This is not off road. This is on road ! Ypu can test it on Asphalt. Even No mud on your tire !
So kool to see what this vehicle is capable of! Thanks! Gives me a peace of mind for when I get one

Wow, first of all subscribed awesome to see someone getting after it!
Its crazy to watch how the bumper seperated from the grill at 0:50
Oh yeah that’s what it’s all about!! Thank you so much 🫡
Spot lights are great for Bigfoot. No seriously they are nice and put out a ton of light.
Thank you!

I have a trd off road 22 also how much did everything cost? And did you loose your front collision sensors from switching bumpers?
I have a pretty basic model so I never had front parking censors. I only have the radar guided cruise control which functions as a collision sensor.
What suspension, wheels, and tires is this?
I just had a rough country lift at that time with 37 inch Yokohama Geolandar g003 mt. But now I have king 2.5 shocks
