@@cadillacdeville5828 me to but not that hard as she had. I was only nervous and sleepy all the time.. Now with sec child I dont have that problem anymore. My husband was by my side all the time... Problem is here only pack of people understand this sickness so we kept quiet about it.

Post partum depression is not too common but still possible to happen to a woman after delivery. It's great you've a good husband and sought for treatment or else it would escalate to worse. Don't be shy to seek help if you're in this situation coz there's a way to overcome it

Having a baby is a commitment, it’s not all rainbows and flowers, it’s alive and you surprisingly have to TAKE CARE of the baby, I didn’t know that was a surprise. Before you have a baby you need to really think about it,
Lijah she was suffering from postpartum depression, there’s nothing she could have done. The chemicals in her brain were just messed up because of the pregnancy. She didn’t do anything wrong
Some people (I say people because men get it too) suffer from postpartum depression after having a child. It's a massive commitment and no amount of prep or planning will change that. My parents planned for months before my mum was even pregnant. That did nothing to stop the massive hormonal shift she experienced and it didn't make her PPD any easier to manage. Yes, people need to be aware of the commitment they are making when they have kids, but they also need to be aware that developing PPD is not their fault.

Nope. Your body releases hormones to make you love the kid so you don't toss it out because why keep something that can't talk and only screams. It's a way to make sure the child is cared for. Eventually you do actually love the kid for who they are or not. It's not talked about but plenty of people end up not loving their kids. The brain has a lot of issues and it is what it is

My mom has 2 daughters, me and my sister. My sister is 7 years older than me.
First pregnancy, sucked. My sister was a ratchet, she would go into every room and tear it up, she was also an extrovert always wanting to be somewhere.
Second pregnancy, went like a breeze, I was easy, all I did all day was watch cartoons and play with my toys. Yet, my mom still got post partum depression.
Guess I’m just bad luck.

When I was born, I had severe food allergies. For 11 months, I had constant diarrhea and vomiting. Whenever I had any milk, hives would pop up on my face almost immediately after ingesting it. I constantly cried. When I was 11 months old, I had some cereal with milk in it. My throat, ears, and eyes closed. I had hives and couldn’t vomit because my mouth couldn’t open. My mother didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t breathe. It lasted for a while, but eventually I went back to normal. I almost died. Then I was diagnosed with milk, egg, peanut, and tree nut allergies. I regularly have to have food challenges, bloodwork, and skin tests. The tests are awful, but limited access to food really doesn’t bother me. I don’t really like eating, so I don’t really care if I don’t get to eat whatever I want, because I don’t really want to eat anything. 😂 Anyway, after I was diagnosed with food allergies, I was a kind of happy baby. I was still bored all the time, and I remember thinking, “Why do I have to do this?” Or “What’s the point of doing this?” Quite often. Anyway, this was long, and if you’re actually reading this - wow, good for you. Sorry I’m so boring. Bye. 👋🏻

Yeah... this will keep on happening as long as we continue to romanticize so called "milestones". Your high school days are the happiest days of your life, your wedding is the happiest day of your life, the birth of a baby will be the happiest day of your life... and they HAVE TO be perfect! NO. You can feel whatever you actually feel in those moments. Fear, anxiety, dissapointmet, joy, anticipation, sadness... there is no right way to feel. There are only right actions. You do you at your own pace.
