The Hurricane is amazing, it can be used at a wide variety of FPS caps and is a monster in terms of power and firing speed, but reloading the thing can be a hassle and carrying spare mags for your sidearm isn't always worthwhile. These easy to print pieces can massively help your Hurricane be more useful, not only for seeing how much ammo you have left at an easy glance but you can also rear-load most darts into it. It's also incredibly easy to do, so there's really no reason not to do this to all of your Hurricane mags.

Like the mat, for all the reasons you stated, plus one more. It's a one inch grid, so it gives viewers a concrete sense of scale!

Hi Walcom S7, I've been trying to find a rear load mag all over the internet and can't find anyone that has the 3d cover to add it on. Is it possible I could buy a rear loaded mag thats already modded from you please, for my white hurricane?
Thinking maybe the gray with white detail is too dark. Contrast is possible but there is an overall dark. Will ponder it more though. The mat does look nice, I am just talking brightness.

The matt is nice- I have a similar one in a lighter translucent grey, makes a good background and work-surface. All I can suggest is a little more lighting really.
Working on it, trust me. One of my desk lights actually burnt out, I'm ordering a new bulb for it. Just been lazy about fixing it.

Use whichever side of the mat makes a blaster stick out more. Dark blaster? White side. Light blaster? Dark side.
LOLOLOL, I was doing this mod and wrapping up my Hurricane when I saw this vid!
So, I will say that for the record, if anyone attempts this, be VERY careful of the tension spring for the magazine as it IS a thin piece of metal. I did not, and promptly broke it. I had to thread it onto the center cylinder closer for it to work better.

As for the mat good idea as for which side I would say it depends on the blaster you are showing off. AKA lighter ones like the worker hurricane look great agaisnt the darker background while darker ones would look better agasint the lighter background
Just flip the mat back and forth every couple of videos for maximum “breaking up the monotony of the plywood”-ability

Help bounce the light back towards the camera hence why it seems more bright

Pretty decent, was upgrading this for tomorrow's video...
Mat looks nice; don't flip it. Cool magazine mod, reminiscent of a Calico/Peacemaker hybrid. The base gun is blocky/ugly as hell, though, and that's coming from someone who owns Glocks. Maybe your next project could be 3d modeling/printing a new, sleeker frame.
Kinda hard to make a new frame for it: the thing is basically a box with flywheels in it. There's not a lot of wasted space on the thing, that's for sure.
I wonder if you can make the hurricane take half darts
I don't see why not just stuff a half dart in see if it fires

I really like this but I'd still still take my rear loading hammershot over that.
I don't think your hammershot is capable of 250+ FPS... a dual staged brushless Hurricane can. That's Longshot levels of performance.
@@WalcomS7 but at that point I'd rather just have a falcon and use talons and actually be able to hit something, my biggest issue with this blaster is the mags I would love it if they could make it fit 8 but 6 just isn't enough for me when my hammershot does what a single stage ond does without batteries.
@@tatsuhirosatou5513 You can literally use a 50 round drum with the blaster if you wanted. And I don't know what you're talking about with a falcon and, "actually be able to hit something", I have no problems with the accuracy on my Hurricane and even if I did It doesn't really matter because I'd just dump all 6 rounds to hit whatever target I needed. And your Hammershot does not hit 100 FPS (base blaster with 3.7v IMRS), nor does it hit 140 FPS (what a single stage 3S with upgraded wheels hits). This thing is also smaller than your Hammershot.
I mean it's fine if you like your Hammershot and want to use it, but it the Hurricane completely invalidates the Hammershot in every way.
@@WalcomS7 I don't know what is available to get more mag capacity in the hurricane but if there is a viable way I'm interested, and the actually hitting stuff i was a commenting on full length darts at the double stage speeds you where talking about, and I'm getting around 90fps out of my hammershot with worker darts so I feel like it's a fair comparison to the hurricane with imrs and not needing batteries makes up for losing a shot and needing to prime it. I would be lieing if I said the fun factor of the hammer prime wasn't part of the decision though.
