Your page has been a huge help! My very first day I did terrible.. 80 miles $78.. I was just taking anything.. watched your video that night and now I make $20-25 an hour. 💪🏼
I'm very new to food delivery. In fact, Friday night (yesterday) was my 4th day delivering. On UE. Thanks to your advice, Mike, I was able to make this Friday $26/hr 5p-10p without boost pay or quest (I guess, new drivers don't get that); $2+/mi; 3 trips/hr. 60% tips. Thank you so much! You're the best!
Again, very true. However, following the "Basics" is definitely the way to play this game. It's super slow in Honolulu this summer but sticking to the basics still brings us to $24-$25+. Thanks Mike you are the GOAT
@@Deejay_quest So, I'm not a new driver anymore. I still make on average $24-25/hr (for example, last Thur $28/hr, last Fri $23/hr) during dinnertime and late night. I guess, the main thing is to figure out how specific local marketplace works. I work in the same marketplace as Mike, but I do take longer trips away from the city and sometimes stay in good suburbs delivering there for a while before returning to the city.
When I first started I was taking every order they sent me was out for 6hours for only 45 dollars I had to learn the hard way never take a McDonald’s order at night you are going to wait almost 40mins in the drive thru for a 4dollar order also gas is almost 4DOllars per gallon so I look at it this way don’t take any orders less than 5 dollars trust it not worth it
McDonalds is less bad than Carl's Junior, Taco Bell, and Jack In The Box. They have long lines at the drive through all night, one employee making all the orders for the mile long line, and the sodas are separate from the bags. At least McDonalds has the sealed bags that can hold the fountain drinks safely inside.
In New Jersey, I saw a five for an extra $200.00 quest that made me drive for the first time in three years! Just did five deliveries that took me 2:45 to complete. Easiest money I ever made!
People should do $1 per miles and don’t go over 7 miles unless it’s paying really good. I mainly do like 3 miles $5 short trips and they really add up fast. I’m averaging $25 to $35 hourly and that’s with me declining some orders. Everyone want to make big money per trip but in many cases that’s not going to happen depending on your market.
Even $5 is minimum 20 minutes. Get there, pick up, drop off. How do you make 35$ an order...this means your each order is 2.4 minutes or 1.7 minutes that's impossible to achieve .
I just started doing Uber Eats last week, and if I only accepted orders that were at least $1.75/mile then I only would have accepted one, maybe two orders. And I don't get anywhere even close to $25/hour either. Today I made $15/hour and it was my highest day so far
Forgot to mention, those of us whom work 6-7 days a week do not get offered quests or bonus pay. Consecutive trip bonus we get nothing . And now Uber is about to find out just how badly they screwed up removing vital information from the offers.
I drive 5-6 days per 7 Days and have not seems quest bonuses or consecutive ride bonuses in a very long time. I have also NEVER receive an Uber Connect Order and my rating is 4.97 stars with nearly 6 thousand deliveries and nearly 1,000 passenger rides 👀
Uber is a opportunity but in the same time they lie about offers, the other day in my inbox account say January 1 to January 9 every 10 trips 25$ extra,I was sooooo excited but when I finish this they never pay the 25$,I call them and I send screenshots about my offer they say sorry wait 72 hour and we post that money in your wallet,I still waiting for the money, after that day I stop do Uber eat
@@megacarlos382 yes, they lie about bonuses. i had a guaranteed bonus when i signed up of $1200 with 100 deliveries. never received it and i contacted them and they wanted all the proof. it was posted on their own website and they knew about the promotion but they refused to give to me. it was only a few hundred for them.
As someone who is still new to uber eats I've noticed so far my big money orders and tips come from places in other towns/cities it's a reasonable driving distance one specifically is about 15 minutes away from the town I live in and they leave me between $15-$20 tips on a $10 order. So, that's my advice if you want big money orders with big money tips just simply expand the distance that you're willing to drive.
Totally agree befor I even started driving for UE his vids, all ready gave me that mind set of not to panic. See wat u doing wrong n change alil that’s all 💎
Thank you for you videos man Been grinding after working my full time job as a chef Hawaii has good orders..around $5-10 per mile Thanks for your help keep going!
The problem is that not accepting all uber eats orders makes acceptance rating go down and then affects the quality of rides when only doing passengers because of low acceptance percentage
In my area, we don’t ever get the boosts, quests or any extra pay so I primarily do door dash, but…. Uber eats customers are way more receptive of the customer service tips ie. Text/call when waiting or call when I arrive/screwed up order issues so they tip significantly better! The tips you had mentioned previously on DoorDash videos has gone a long way to improving my thinking. I only do this part time and your full time perspective really helps. I work extremely blue collar as a full time shipbuilder, so for instance my mentality was “Youre only going to get what you’re paying me for.” Compared to the “you’ve paid for my time and I’m here for you” line of thinking.. I know, not big difference but it’s really helped me be much more profitable in my region.
You have so many more opportunities than me here in Edmonton, Canada. All we get are the boosts 1.25x, 2.00x, etc, and the $1.50+ bonuses. No quests, no nothin' else. Thank you for this and your other videos regarding Uber Eats! :) Been driving for them now for about 6 years.
Thanks for watching! Communication is great for ratings but even better and more importantly in my opinion for those customer tips! So any exceptional delays etc I always give them a heads up
i have like 8000 deliveries ,6 years doing it ,diamond ,97% consistent in all this time ,never in my life seen that money ,or queat or peak pay ,never ,i think many youtubers are oppinion agents that works for uber trying to maintain hope that the next day will be better on drivers,i dont say you ,i just think is to much lie on youtube to get views
Love the channel Mike, but if I wait for orders that pay $1.75 a mile minimum, I'd be doing 3-4 orders in a 10 hour work day... and that's running Grubhub, UberEats and DoorDash in the busy Chicago west suburbs. And with some of the surge pay figures you show, I've never seen surge pay that high anywhere in Chicagoland. Out here, the highest surge pay is in the most ghetto areas where you may just catch a stray bullet, get car jacked or whatever... and those surge payouts are $2.50 usually. Other safer areas that have surge pay are a buck or maybe a $1.50 on a Friday or Saturday night... slightly more if it's snowing heavy and the roads are screwed. Good to aim for, but not feasible.
I received a quest last week Monday (first & only time I’ve received one) that day I was working Wicker Pk/ Logan Square & Belmont Cragin area. Some days on UE aren’t too great for me yet DoorDash is on said day Go figure! Good luck and stay safe!
@@ajw9377 damn that sucks, I think it’s more achievable in cities like Chicago, Pittsburgh etc, bigger population definitely. All the orders I take are always more than 2 per mile so I am thankful for it.
i used to do $2 a mile but now it has to be $3 a mile. gas has gone up and my old suv gets terrible mileage. plus there's a huge drop in orders on all delivery apps and low or no tippers. i stay home and come home until something is worth taking. the apps need to do something like suggest customers tip better or those orders may not get picked up.
Tracking my mileage through gridwise helps alot I'm doing my first full year with them and keep yall posted how it goes uber been running great for me this spring if your in the fla area go to all the beach areas they throwing money like presents
$1,300.00 for 90 trips! Sign me up. I average 120 trips per week in Scottsdale, AZ & I've never seen such an offer. We get surge from $1.00 to sometimes 2.50, that's it. Now they are requiring acceptance of 3 trips out of every 10 offers in order to see addresses. No doubt that's Ubers reaction to acceptance %'s dropping like a rock due to their price reductions. Inflation is at an all time high, fuel prices have doubled in the last year, and Uber, in all their wisdom, is reducing driver's pay. It's all about turning a profit to improve the price of their stock. I have a hunch, this will back fire on Uber.
These corporate giants are greedy...and with the %rate dropping on the payment on orders to drivers it's obvious plus gas prices increased this shows their heart and mind frame to us as workers... It's going to eventually fall due to greed..
I have learned the hard (expensive) way to avoid MacDonalds, Wendy’s, and certain Taco Bell’s after 7pm. Totally rediculous wait times. I focus on the dine-in restaurants and only accept minimum $1.30/mile. My strategy usually earns $1200 to $1600 per week.
I drive in the Culver City Santa Monica Market. And this weekend I was hit with those no information pickup requests. I received over 10 requests like that. I would quit UE and stick to DD if they go with that model
I have a theory about sitting in a hot spot. I've noticed that I can sit in the hotspot for a while but keep getting offers to pick up from somewhere else. But I still see other drivers coming and going. So I wonder if ubereats calculates in your wait time and they will pick somebody that is the same minutes away as the prep time is. That way the driver is not standing around. I have a park that I go to that is nearby the good restaurants and it seems I get more hits than I do if I'm sitting in the parking lot.
In south Fl there’s about 1.2 times surge pay during lunch / dinner (may be using the wrong word). I very rarely see quests. But I love Uber eats. It’s the only app where the pickups are almost always ready when I arrive. And the pay is usually pretty great. I often get larger tips than the original which is really nice. I think my highest extra tip was $17 which was so awesome. But sometimes it is slower than the other apps, and sometimes they send me $2 for 3 miles kind of stuff. Automatic decline! Also not a fan of not knowing how long I have to make a decision on if I accept an order, or when they hide the distance / address. Thanks for the info. 😊
I’m in SWFL too (Sarasota area) and I agree with most of what you said, so I also became a Dasher recently so I have more options and I was able to stack two orders from each app the other day and made about $65 in 2.5 hours and went home for the night! I had to wait on a waitlist for months to get onto DoorDash, but it’s worth it! Used to drive for PostMates and it was my favorite by far but they were bought by Uber
I live in Houston near the Katy area and honestly a single trip takes at least 25-30 minutes on regular hours each and even worse during traffic time. Every single order i get are 8+ miles away minimum and less than $8
I live in N.J. (middlesex) The biggest issue I'm having with uber eats is having to reject so many orders. I get non-stop small order that are 25min. drive or longer. To the point that in 1 hour I end up only doing like 2 good orders. I know I cant be the only one having this issue. My score went from 88 to 44% on accepted trips. I've had to mix it up with uberx just to stay at float.
@@MaskedScorpion after some experiences with male riders, some drunk causing me to get into a wreck because he couldn't follow instructions and kept calling me while I was trying to drive to him. I don't deliver people.
@@texaslovelylady .... What? So, because someone kept calling you, and your inability to properly and super easily handle that situation, you got in a wreck? How is that anyone's fault? That was 100% YOUR fault. You shouldn't be driving, period.
When they have guaranteed pay I treat everything as a guaranteed pay order. $12 for 5 miles will be changed to $14 and so will a $2 1 mile order. I'll bust out 5 or 10 $2 close orders and make 70+$140 an hour
If you know your area well it shouldn't be a problem. You still know the street you are going to so it'll be pretty obvious where you are going providing you pay attention to the lay of the land
In Australia, the driver can cancel after accepting a job and once they know the address (prior to picking up the order). I believe there is no penalty for cancelling before picking up the order.
I never saw the 90 delivery $1,300 guarantees ever. If I did, it seems like that would give me an incentive to accept the $3 or $2 deliveries to get the 90 delivery goal.
Hey Mike, did you get a message from Uber eats about upfront addresses? You have to accept 3 out of 10 trips! This is the most sketchy thing Uber is doing! What's the point of being an independent contractor? It's not our fault that we won't take bad orders that are 2 dollars which could be 10 miles away!
Yes I hate it! I used to easily make at least $100 on a Friday night for 3-4hrs of driving, with the new accepting requirements I barely squeeze out $40 in 4.5 hrs on a Friday night 😡! I’m in Vegas and being a woman I hate the idea of being send off to random areas just to get bigger orders .
I'm delivering in Austin TX primarily because the number of deliveries are much higher, but with the layout of the city its an average of 20 - 23 minutes for a single delivery and the fares are an average of $6. Its really hard to make serious money. That said I was exclusively Uber Eats, but I just got approved for Door Dash, and Shipt as well, so maybe I'll see something better available.
Look up the demographics in your area and look for cost of living. I've found deliveries to more expensive areas tip the most. Last night I got two $20 tips at a private country club. Night before I got a $16 and $14 tip from another rich section in my area. Go where the money is...
Bro I’ve never seen any of those offer guarantees on Uber eats in my area been doing this a year now diamond driver and I pretty much never get any bonuses really at all and never seen a 1300 offer wow that’s crazy.
I live in Austin and some of this stuff I’ve never seen like the 3 in a row thing …. But you have the same train of thought as me I also notice there’s an algorithm and some times I get on the right side of the algorithm and I make bank!!! It’s tricky though
I have been doing some traveling and I see that my market (Dallas) is not as busy as (Nashville) I saw 11.00 boost pay In Nashville!!! I wish I lived there lol
In MA. ,we don't get the consecutive bonuses anymore for Uber eats ..we used to now in my area it's always 1.5 to 2.3 plus $1 to $3 if it's busy. We have packages from the apple stores which are not worth it on the most part . So far I did about 8 and most are always double orders .The problem with these orders is you have to find the customer cause a signature is required. So far there apple package orders are not worth it ,the average is about a dollar a mile with an exception of one it paid $4 a mile. I can't figure out what and how they come up with this, but one thing is for sure Uber gets a big cut out of them
If you're in houston, DO NOT UBER EATS. I have to decline literally 20-30 orders (most are 2-3 dollars) before i get an order that's barely mildly acceptable. like 10 bucks for 11 miles most of which are on the freeway, after waiting 30 minutes to find this order. i dont understand the pay you get in houston on uber eats its actually insulting. literally 5-6 dollars an hour after gas expense
The mileage deductions are very generous if you drive an electric or a hybrid car or anything that gets over 35 miles per gallon since your actual cost would probably only be between 15 and 30 some cents per mile so your pocketing 30 cents per mile of free money
I am in the marketplace of Virginia Beach, Virginia. It is epically slow and quiet on the platform here. Yet this area is like a collection of 7 large cities known as Tiedwater or Hampton Roads, Virginia. It is absurd how slow and inactive it is here.
Unfortunately, I've never seen any of these bonuses offered in my market. In fact, I don't believe we even get surge pay. I've picked up and dropped off in a surge many times and have never seen anything saying in the explanation of earnings that said surge pay. 😑😔
I'm in South Florida & its our busy season. I was doing great with both UE & DD with Uber always taking the lead but last 2 weeks are awful with UE, no more promotions or boosts & now hard to make over $100 with both apps. I hope its just slowdown from holidays.
Boy, Mike you get way different numbers than I do. The only time I saw those bonus trips was July 4th week end. I started in April though. I am in Stamford , CT
And the other problem I have is the app itself. Yesterday Sunday was supposed to be busy, especially at dinner time. Well, it wasn’t. I was literally just sitting on the power strip area, nothing for 30 minutes. Places closed early last night too; it was weird. One cancelled order; Dunkin’ closed 30 minutes early. Instead of $18 I got $3 because I called Uber to ask for gas replacement money. So I was supposedly working 4.5 hrs yesterday for $30.00! I am 65 with health issues and cannot be out there at all hours waiting for orders so I try to pick my times wisely. And the app frequently tells me I ‘ve misdelivered on apartment deliveries! I usually use Apple Maps to drive to customer; that Uber app is so confused.
I drive 5-6 days per 7 Days and have not seen quest bonuses or consecutive ride bonuses in a very long time. I have also NEVER receive an Uber Connect Order and my rating is 4.97 stars with nearly 6 thousand deliveries and nearly 1,000 passenger rides 👀
There is only boost pay in NYC. All of the other bonuses have been eliminated, probably due to the over flooded market of couriers here. Connect here doesn't give us surge pay as well. Shopping at the drug stores with the Uber debit card has been profitable so far.
I see where I'm picking up from and an intersection near the customers house (if it's stacked it shows me an intersection near the furthest customers house)..
I haven’t seen any boost pays or quests in the San Diego California market place. And the highest surge pay I’ve seen so far has been $2. Luckily I have had good luck on tips.
Down in Miami we don’t get any of these crazy incentives at all. It sucks. A decent call is about $6. And I received a guaranteed rate of $960 for 120 orders. Those high surges that the rest of the US gets, we don’t get down here. It’s mostly only boosts at 1.1.
I am currently doing Doordash, I am also considering doing Uber eats as well. Can you do a video on how to multi-app. Would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you !!😊
Here in ATX. We rarely see any of these bonuses. Quest, consecutive bonuses are nonexistent. There are surges, very small ones. I've been doing ue for 6 years, 10000 trips and I'm pretty sure all this stuff is a thing of the past. Time to get out before my ship sinks.
Which is why they offer it. Rarely get surge pay here in the OC, boost pay is a joke, figured out they drop the base pay and multiplying that. So you’re not really making more.
@@drewzalo what’s your daily in the oc? I’m in the San Gabriel valley but too many drivers here now. I have been to dtla and Hollywood and make good amount for a cpl of hrs but with gas prices at where they r at now ($6.17) I’m staying put
Interesting. I'm in Florida and started about 2 weeks ago. I would have to drive an hour and a half plus pay tolls to get to a busy area. Then I would be sure where I would be safe to go to. I did get some good tips from you and I will try them. Another concern I have about driving so far away is coming home late at night and being tired.
How do you get those quests? I used to see them every week-I want to say a year, year and a half ago but now I only see them on holidays. Is it because I don’t have that many deliveries? I think I have like 420 lifetime deliveries but I do have a 95% rating
And a lot of customers like to tip bait in my area they'll put a large tip in it and then change the tip after the orders delivered Uber should block changing tips you tip after the order or you tip before and can't change it
I drive in a small town with only about 25k people and about 10-15 restaurants that use doordash. Most of the other apps are not used where I live so you kinda of can't be picky .
Something I don't understand is delivery pictures that are focused primary on the delivery bag placed in a spot where there is very little background to reflect where its actually placed. When I do these pictures, I try to include part of the address (like the address number, apt letter/number, etc). I want the picture to clearly show I'm at the correct location per the delivery instructions (if that is possible). It's the only way I can think of to ensure I'm covered. I've considered a pocket cam for those 'Meet you at the door' deliveries since there's zero way to prove it was delivered. Sounds like overkill, though. So far, no claims have been made that I'm aware. Thanks Mike.
Here in Sydney Australia, No bonuses like the ones you have. Boosts are still a thing but they drag everybody cityside, leaving the Western suburbs pretty dry. Bonuses as a standard are like "Complete 40 trips for $80" followed by a bunch of smaller quests with rising bonuses "10 trips for $20 up to 15 trips for $75" over 8 small quests. Also have never seen Surge like you have either. Been doing UE for about 5 months now. Not a bad gig, been enjoying it so far, but god damn do I want that 90 trip quest you have! 😂
What I've found is that working for a pizza shop as a delivery driver in a medium to upscale neighborhood is going to pay out much better than gig driving... And half of your tips will be in cash; if you don't what that means, you've never paid quarterly taxes. All of your tip money is recorded and available to the IRS, while 80% of my tip money is in the form of cash put into my hand. You'll fill ranch cups and sweep floors and take orders over the phone and other odd jobs in between deliveries. My pizza shop pays me mileage of $3 per delivery, plus I keep the cash tips which are almost always generous, plus I get paid out nightly on all credit card tips in cash, plus I earn an hourly wage of $15 per. A normal weekday night, I'm taking home more in tips than most gig drivers earn overall; plus I get paid per hour and I don't have to deal with the "self-employed" IRS tax crap. On the weekends, my take-home is easily 2x what I used to make gig-driving delivery orders. As for stacked orders, during dinner hours I'm usually leaving the restaurant with 3-5 deliveries at a time. I'm taking in $9-15 in mileage pay, keeping whatever tips on 3-5 deliveries, and earning a wage at the same time. Usually takes about an hour, and is usually good for about $50+ whilst using a gallon of gas or less. I smoke a cigarette on the way back to the shop, park, go inside and do odd jobs for 10-15 minutes until the next batch delivery. Yeah, I'm working for the MAN, I have to wear a uniform and comply... but at the end of the day, I'm trading my time and mileage for money. I simply make much more this way than I ever did working on my own doing the same exact thing.
The last two quests I got were 75 trips for an extra $130 which is a joke . Surge pay ? Bonus pay ? Streak pay ? Don't even know what those are. Never seen them
Great video. In Australia where I am its a bit different. I haven’t seen surge pricing where I am. Maybe others do in other parts of the country. The quests can be hit and miss. Sometimes quite a stretch to meet, particularly if you’re doing it as a side hustle.
I think 1.75 is too high, you can still make good money at 1.50 trick to make the most money is to become a diamond driver and keep your satisfaction rate at 95% or higher, I’m currently at 100% Uber will pay you more with this combination. Be smart and don’t take just any ride though
I am now getting penalized if I don't accept 3 out of 10 orders even if they are $2 and $3 trips. They will not show the upfront map so you don't know where the pick up or drop off points are at if your not accepting 3 out of 10. I have not received quests for months now. I'm wondering if this is legal if we are independent contractors. Are they misclassifying us as independent contractors or are we their employees. I think it's illegal them to control the work we do as independent contractors. Have you heard of this penalty? Do you have any advice?
That just happened to me last week...and "Your Driver Mike's" advice came through in the clutch. I just followed the basics; dollars to miles, duration of delivery, and canceled the one order that I didn't want to take (Walmart). The addresses came back in no time. Be safe gang and God bless!

Your channel is very educational, I watch all the videos concerning delivering and yours is one of the best.
Totally agree befor I even started driving for UE his vids, all ready gave me that mind set of not to panic.
See wat u doing wrong n change alil that’s all 💎
I appreciate that Bob thank you!
Thank you for you videos man
Been grinding after working my full time job as a chef
Hawaii has good orders..around $5-10 per mile
Thanks for your help keep going!
The problem is that not accepting all uber eats orders makes acceptance rating go down and then affects the quality of rides when only doing passengers because of low acceptance percentage
Tried applying for a dasher for DD and they’ve maximized the number of dashers in my area. I’m in the outskirts of Htown but not surprised either.
I've noticed that too about Uber Eats customers. A lot of times, they'll be outside waiting for me, even when it's a drop off delivery.
25 an hour is doable. 30+ an hour on the weekends should be the goal. Weekdays you might be struggling when it's slower and maybe do $20-25 an hour
Recently found out that communication with the customers is essential 👌 for the customer service rating. Now I'm at 80% rating
I see the highest boost near downtown, river north, lakeview etc, weekdays not so much but weekends I can legit make 40/hour for the dinner rush
Yup! Same I Uber eats in Naperville and I was like WOAH why we don’t get any quest smh
I like uber connect because they pay you for for miles and waiting time 👍
Tracking my mileage through gridwise helps alot I'm doing my first full year with them and keep yall posted how it goes uber been running great for me this spring if your in the fla area go to all the beach areas they throwing money like presents
It definitely will!
What is your strategy? I am struggling to make money . Please help
With gas 5 bucks a gallon, and the 20 mile an hour speed limit here in NYC, your lucky if you make 5 bucks an hour here
I drive in the Culver City Santa Monica Market.
I think those driving have a higher chance of getting orders than those just parked.
Ooh, interesting. Makes sense!
Yep. City A and City B both have McDonald's. I was in A and they sent me to McDonald's B, then i had to drive back to A to deliver it
In south Fl there’s about 1.2 times surge pay during lunch / dinner (may be using the wrong word).
I live in the hood most don't tip and some places you have to pay to park I'm not paying $5 to park for 5 minutes take it paid $2 on a delivery
And they don't deactivate you cause they need drivers.
Right… and I only do Uber eats cause I don’t really want ppl in my car at the moment…
I love watching your videos, very helpful, I just started back up doing deliveries
When they have guaranteed pay I treat everything as a guaranteed pay order. $12 for 5 miles will be changed to $14 and so will a $2 1 mile order. I'll bust out 5 or 10 $2 close orders and make 70+$140 an hour
How do you feel about UberEats removing the upfront address on orders to try and bait the driver to taking offers that really aren’t worth it?
If you know your area well it shouldn't be a problem. You still know the street you are going to so it'll be pretty obvious where you are going providing you pay attention to the lay of the land
@@SomniaCE it doesn’t show you the drop off though. They tell you the area of the restaurant but not the dropoff
I don’t pay attention to it anymore. I take what I want.
In Australia, the driver can cancel after accepting a job and once they know the address (prior to picking up the order). I believe there is no penalty for cancelling before picking up the order.
@@SandyHernandez-xs9wd it doesn't show the distance ?
Always watch your content before delivering. You taught me so much
I never saw the 90 delivery $1,300 guarantees ever. If I did, it seems like that would give me an incentive to accept the $3 or $2 deliveries to get the 90 delivery goal.
Chicago has these promotions almost weekly
Exactly
Me neitherz
Not here in ca haven’t seen that.
I got the same email today. I turn down a lot of $2 and $3 orders. I've been driving for almost 2 years and this is my main app.
Decline all this it’s such bs!!!!
Thank you! It's so STUPID!
Thank you!! This is really a bad move.
I just re-enrolled with UE and I'm starting implementing your advice tomorrow.
Before I would accept anything and go anywhere, but not anymore.
My biggest frustration is tips. Some customers don’t tip or they’ll tip a lousy and insulting $1.00. I can’t tell you how much that annoys me!
Look up the demographics in your area and look for cost of living. I've found deliveries to more expensive areas tip the most. Last night I got two $20 tips at a private country club. Night before I got a $16 and $14 tip from another rich section in my area. Go where the money is...
@@davidliberty6008 I got you. Good advice. Thank you! 🙏🏼
@@davidliberty6008 facts
Today I got a $.10 tip... talk about a kick in the nuts. I then proceeded to receive a $21 tip. Life is all about balance..
Bro I’ve never seen any of those offer guarantees on Uber eats in my area been doing this a year now diamond driver and I pretty much never get any bonuses really at all and never seen a 1300 offer wow that’s crazy.
Same here im thinking the same thing 1.5 surge Nd mat 5 dollars next 5 trips
pittsburg must desperately need drivers. we have $1 surges and boosts and on rare occasions, a quest but that is all.
Skeptic. You will never get ahead. 20 dollar orders exist
@@jamesgranes2370 totally depends on the area. Some towns are just better than others. Some people won't tip for the life of them
1st.i respect. 2nd. I've been at this with my lady for 6 months and am diamond as well. This is literally buying our future back
I live in Austin and some of this stuff I’ve never seen like the 3 in a row thing …. But you have the same train of thought as me I also notice there’s an algorithm and some times I get on the right side of the algorithm and I make bank!!! It’s tricky though
And BTW, we do have boost and surge in my area; I can tell Uber puts it on to make sure they have food delivery people at important times for them.
I used to see the bonus pay or streaks more in Summer 2021. All I see now are boost pay since November 2021 to present. Houston,Tx
I am in the marketplace of Virginia Beach, Virginia. It is epically slow and quiet on the platform here. Yet this area is like a collection of 7 large cities known as Tiedwater or Hampton Roads, Virginia. It is absurd how slow and inactive it is here.
As I’m watching this in my car I receive a whopping order of $2
Unfortunately, I've never seen any of these bonuses offered in my market. In fact, I don't believe we even get surge pay. I've picked up and dropped off in a surge many times and have never seen anything saying in the explanation of earnings that said surge pay. 😑😔
I've never gotten reimbursed for a promised surge trip .... they said it was an outage in my area when promised +11 dollars still never got that pay
Yo house lighting be hella cool
Our market almost only has boost pay and never quests
How do you get quests? I’m still new to food delivery with 50 trips. Also, do you know how to update your profile photo on UE?
I'm in South Florida & its our busy season. I was doing great with both UE & DD with Uber always taking the lead but last 2 weeks are awful with UE, no more promotions or boosts & now hard to make over $100 with both apps. I hope its just slowdown from holidays.
Awesome tutorial buddy 🙏🙏❤️❤️💯
Just started seeing the boost and bonus last week for Uber eats started driving the beginning of October haven’t seen any other incentives
Only saw those special quest trips on July 4 th week end BTW
Thank you for the vid! Here in Orlando we still have boost pay in Orlando it goes to 4x on the weekends.
I Florida we don’t get non that all we is surg zone $1.00 to $1.50 per trip. You guys are luck up north
If I decline every trip under $1.5/mile I would need to decline 100% of trips. I really do not understand how this man works!
There is only boost pay in NYC. All of the other bonuses have been eliminated, probably due to the over flooded market of couriers here. Connect here doesn't give us surge pay as well. Shopping at the drug stores with the Uber debit card has been profitable so far.
Uber eats hiding the customers address and where you’re picking up from needs to go!
What does the screen look like when you get the request? Feel free to tweet it at me
I see where I'm picking up from and an intersection near the customers house (if it's stacked it shows me an intersection near the furthest customers house)..
Ubereats just started this crap of hiding the pickup/drop off location if you don’t accept at least 3 out of every 10 requests!
Thank you !!😊
And yes, one does have to decline trips if you want to make more than $8 or $10 an hour. Not even minimum wage!
I am in Erie Pa not far from the lake in Millcreek not that busy here. Wish it was I do Uber eats delievery.
Sadly I have no promotions or boosts for my market. It's gone stale and doordash has just absolutely taken over. It's so frustrating.
I made 324$ in 20h being online in around 3 days
Thanks for sharing your tips
WOW arizona's surge only goes to 1.50 😆
It's wild i have learned a ton in the last 2 days and I'm glad I will not be making the same mistakes anymore 🙃 🙂 😅
I’m in NJ I haven’t seen a high surge pay in months all we get is boosts now oh and no more goals either like get extra X for X deliveries
Great video bro. Ty!
One thing I never hear anybody talk about is that if you want to know where the big orders are coming from talk to the restaurant managers.
Boost pay here in Montreal Canada is very high around 1.9 to 2.7
2.7x boost that’s insane tell me there’s surge on top of that haha
@@YourDriverMike Yeah with surge too during lunch and diner time its insane haha
Bonuses and surge r daily here in downtown Los Angeles but finding parking is insane
Nice stuff
In my market place Los Angeles they show info for uber connect. Distance and earnings but if you don't accept x/10 trips they remove it
How do you get those quests? I used to see them every week-I want to say a year, year and a half ago but now I only see them on holidays. Is it because I don’t have that many deliveries? I think I have like 420 lifetime deliveries but I do have a 95% rating
And a lot of customers like to tip bait in my area they'll put a large tip in it and then change the tip after the orders delivered Uber should block changing tips you tip after the order or you tip before and can't change it
I drive in a small town with only about 25k people and about 10-15 restaurants that use doordash. Most of the other apps are not used where I live so you kinda of can't be picky .
I have never seen surge pay before I’ve been using Uber eats for a year
Great Video!
Very good job 👏.
Unfortunately nyc don’t have that anymore it ended in November 2020
Great advice
I just followed the basics; dollars to miles, duration of delivery, and canceled the one order that I didn't want to take
(Walmart). The addresses came back in no time. Be safe gang and God bless!
