Realistically, Perjios(?) may be there many times and the person thought the food truck would be there that time. They may not take uber eats/grubhub/door dash orders in the traditional way so that's why it showed up as a package.
I’ve delivered all over, Mt. Oliver, Homewood, Hazelwood, Hill District - “not good areas”. If it’s during the day I’ll basically do anywhere, at night I’m more selective
I'm in Lexington Ky and Grubhub does pretty well for me here. Uber Eats is a good add on. My market is saturated with dashers here so I haven't been able to get activated on door dash for a year now. I will get Amazon Flex activated soon.
Did you got scammed by when the customer was vague on the directions and place also the cancellation to me that doesn’t sound like you got scammed mostly just time wasted
That is the absolute best GrubHub order I have seen in a couple months. Every GrubHub order I get these days is paying under a dollar a mile. Uber eats has also seem to stop paying what I’m used to, not sure if others are seeing these trends.? I am in the Portland Oregon/southwest Washington market.
So its another day of Uber and you are showing that its not profitable to be an Uber driver or or Uber Eats delivery driver. Good luck to all the fools that think they can make a living doing Uber. Its a fools game and all you will do is run your car or truck into the ground, chase bs fares, and hope you show a profit. So can anyone show a profit, and I am talking legit profits after costs of doing business such as gas, vehicle depreciation and time and money spent and if you can I'll praise you. But in reality all that will happen as a rideshare driver will be pain, and driving your vehicle into the ground , unless compensation increases significantly, but even after the end of the day Neither Uber of Lyft are about you. They care about cooperate profits..
Happened to me the other day! At least I think it did! Took an offer for $11 going just under 4 miles. Delivered it and was paid $3, with no tip! (On an expensive seafood order!) Did it once and it was pretty good, just delivered feminine products to another lady, dollars to miles ratio was on point. But the market in Dallas is pretty slow during the day I usually do it evenings to early mornings as it's only profitable doing it at those hours
Wow so weird. This morning ot was slow. Got 1 order from uber eats didn't quite meet the ratios and it was 6mi out. I said I'm not doing this today..boom order comes..this happened 5 times today, made 70.00 on 6 deliveries. Sadly I tend to take just under ratio orders because I live in the 🏜. All in all, a great morning as I got multiple other things dine as well before coming to my actual job😂 Love your content..thanks for this one.
Also, fair warning to anyone just getting started. This is a hard thing to get into full time if you don't have decent credit. I bought a car in February after my last car died. I've dropped over 2K, that I had to borrow from friends/family when my suspension was bad and chewed up my tires. Still have to do my front brakes. 😣
I just added my wife car and I use my own old POS car to do Uber 😂 Been doing that for years without any issue. I don't do passengers, used to taxi for them never again. I can't stand people 😂
Did a few Uber connect. Most just ended up being food deliveries which I assume is a way for a restaurant to bypass Uber's system. The final one I did was a 50+ item pick up from a woman and her daughter at Sam's Club. Pickup wasn't a big deal with both helping load, and she assured me her husband and sons would help with load out. You already know what really happened. Turned off Connect after that. P.S. Having Connect turned on makes the heat map not work. Turn it off, log out, then restart your phone and see.
@@josiahdillard7428 For me it doesn't actually mess with the surge map, it's that it lets you go online even if you aren't currently able to go online with Uber Eats. I drive a lot at the edge of my service area so I often end up at the edge of my zone. It confused me the first time I turned on Connect, but after restarting the app once I moved to a location where I knew I could go online it was fine.
I'm so confused I just got one from jersey to nyc and it was food. I when into the restaurant and no one knew what i was talking about . Once I saw it was nyc I canceled but no one knew what I need to do with this food. Uber said he wasn't suppose to use it for food.
I may have mentioned this before, I did a few connects before and Walmart pickup that wound up being far too large to fit into my Buick Regal. One connect was a metal fabricated rectangle of some sort. Wouldn't fit in my trunk or even through the doors of my car.

Realistically, Perjios(?) may be there many times and the person thought the food truck would be there that time. They may not take uber eats/grubhub/door dash orders in the traditional way so that's why it showed up as a package.
I'm from la but Pittsburgh is my 2nd home. HOMEWOOD CITY
Nothing good comes out of Uber
No way I would’ve accepted a package delivery to the Hill District
I hear that.
True. So true
I got one it’s great. Cannabis cup best grower.
On another topic, cuz I know you review them all. I was just tip baited on Door Dash. Anyone else? Thought DD didn't do that.
Happened to me the other day! At least I think it did! Took an offer for $11 going just under 4 miles. Delivered it and was paid $3, with no tip! (On an expensive seafood order!) Called support and they said $3 was the upfront offer. Now I try to screenshot every offer. Maybe I misread it, but I really don't think so.
@@danwilhite probably not your imagination. I lost money on the order. It's really horrible out there lately. Time to find something new to make money. Which is sad because I used to enjoy the job. Good luck, Dan 🙂
That happened to me a month ago with a grocery and alcohol delivery, when I was confirming the id.
The order changed from $21 to $10. I noted the address and will never receive orders from that punk.
His dealer didn't meet you in time l o l😅
I just got a 16 dollar package delivery for 22 miles 💀. I have yet seen a good package delivery pay unless it's walmart. And grubhub is the save sometimes when everything is slow
I love your teeth
Scammers!
Did it once and it was pretty good, just delivered feminine products to another lady, dollars to miles ratio was on point.
All in all, a great morning as I got multiple other things dine as well before coming to my actual job😂
Love your content..thanks for this one.
Uber and Grubhub do that. As I finish one I get another.
For me, the package deliveries are like randonautica…
Join Curri or/ and Driaver, and review those...
Grubhub is still me favorite.
I love grubhub they have saved me. But business is inconsistent
I just added my wife car and I use my own old POS car to do Uber 😂
Been doing that for years without any issue.
Yeah that’s why I never use Uber connect because it messes with the surge map
@@josiahdillard7428 For me it doesn't actually mess with the surge map, it's that it lets you go online even if you aren't currently able to go online with Uber Eats. I drive a lot at the edge of my service area so I often end up at the edge of my zone. It confused me the first time I turned on Connect, but after restarting the app once I moved to a location where I knew I could go online it was fine.
I stopped doing Walmart deliveries..Takes 4 ever to get the packages. The customer also doesn't tip.
I'm so confused I just got one from jersey to nyc and it was food. I when into the restaurant and no one knew what i was talking about . Once I saw it was nyc I canceled but no one knew what I need to do with this food. Uber said he wasn't suppose to use it for food.
They're trash in my area I tried 2 of them and never again. No thanks.
I may have mentioned this before, I did a few connects before and Walmart pickup that wound up being far too large to fit into my Buick Regal. One connect was a metal fabricated rectangle of some sort. Wouldn't fit in my trunk or even through the doors of my car.
Today was garbage day
Uber n DoorDash is dead rn
Today is super slow.
