As a local I appreciate you sharing the statue I formation and sharing your experience !! The mobile homes were here before anyone. We should all be able to enjoy the beach. I'm so tired of the greedy taking beach life away from the locals. Those mobile homes are fine. It used to all be mobile homes. They're so much cheaper to replace than those million dollar homes. Those fancy homes and cars have killed the insurance for the rest of us! 50k vs 500k makes a hell of a difference to replace!
As a native Floridian - I really appreciate your perspective! The beach is truly for the people and I did not even recognize the impact of the inequity on our access. As someone who has always been apart of the lower/middle class bracket, it is something I will be paying close attention to from now on. The beach has such an impact on human peace and appreciation for nature. That should never be taken away. I also appreciate the fact that you are aware of your rights regarding mobile homes - I hope word spreads about this and people fight for their rights!!
I delivered plumbing and pool supplies for Gormans and other companies. Had to leave Florida because I couldn't even afford to rent a room ... 73,000,000 square miles of land and there was no room for me. 😊 Moved away from Florida after 16 years. The greed was too mich.
Don't forget about the 60s hurricane Donna(?) that took out 4 city blocks across from 4th st in Bradenton beach. There were older folks that lived there and told me stories about it. You could even see some of the concrete steps left. It's just a sand bar and shouldn't be built on unless it's temporary camping or concessions for the public. It should be for the state.
I feel for all those effected by Milton and Helene but I also hope we get to the point where there are no residential properties on the barrier islands.
This guy is awesome. We need everyone to speak up .Do not be afraid.. let the ones who would condemn us be afraid. We are Americans ...We ARE the Majority.
Turn it into a public beach. Bars, restaurants a couple stores . Charge $10 a vehicle . That $10 gets you on the island. And if there are more hurricanes ; close down the beach.
I wouldn't have a problem to live in one of those mobile homes being on anna maria. I would rather live next to a mobile home than some snobby ass rich person.
Yes, the beaches any more are beginning to be only for the Rich People that hire somebody to cone in and do the clean up from the damage. I hope the older mobile homes stay Along with the People, Thankyou for sharing this, its important for the People of the Beach. Stay safe 💙🏖
Black mold and sewage having filled up those mobile homes and even the regular homes in the area. It’s a sad situation but if not cleaned up and treated correctly. Sickness and disease over time? Yikes! Is it a land grab? Who already owns the property? Hate to see it but if not put back correctly it will be just extending the mess for years to come.
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS i did after leaving the comment. 😆 About 23 miles in!? Did I get that right? Hey tnxxx 4 responding! Love ❤️ your channel ❤️ stay safe during this hurricane season m'friend!
It's all about money & taxes. The county can't charge as much for taxes on a pre 1978 mobile home as they can on a 2 story 3 bedroom structure of 2,000+ square feet valued at $500,000. Dollars each. That's why they want to drive out the mobile homes that might only be valued at $3,000 dollars. That's what they county is after. 💲💲💲💲.
My question for you is how bad was salt water inside the mobile house? Think of the salt water that was inside Maybe all the electric outlets and power lines in the walls need to be replaced How about the salt water in the sob wood and how much of sob needs to be replaced
The house at 22:00 should have survived but the builder cheaped out on the pilings and only went a few feet down and anchored them in concrete. No match for a storm surge.
So they just going send in the FDOT of the state no longer safe for the road or they can not be registered by the FDOT or they are unable to be moved by FDOT Florida Department of Transportation will have them de-livable faster than the county, remember they take cars off the road all the time that just could be repaired
As a local and I painfully watching your previous posts. It would be more helpful if you knew what you were really talking As a local and I painfully watching your posts. It would be more helpful if you knew what you were really talking about. If you knew the people the community and culture first hand.
Weird how those mobile homes have survived for 60+ years huh??? But, I think the water in the mobile homes probbly soaked the walls and will make them long term death traps in the future but hey, it's a free country. That being said, besides fortified concrete stilt homes and super built condos are probably the only thing that's going to last for the next 60 years. good job with all the videos. Take care.
And , more importantly....just because the rich own homes.... does NOT mean that they are living at that residencen. So, they force us all into homelesness.
Statues and codes are not laws they are policey for the employees and the u.s citizen and the residents who are in the ten mile square of the district of Columbia we know our god giving natural born rights to life liberty and property and Happiness that god gave us dominion over the world we have rights and the agencies they have privileges they don't have I'm just saying
I've been doing research on laws and contract for compensation and equity laws that hold them accountable for their actions against the living soul's that is not a u.s citizen or a resident of Washington DC and their states agencies I go after bonds I claim damages to the living soul we are not the miner account we control the miner account only we can put a signature on the documents we are the holder in due course over the miner account
They will plug that hole in the statute ! But in all fairness I hope that they will stay there and as you mention let Mother Nature makes her choices herself. Hopefully they will not move on it too fast. So much costs for minicipalities they will need all the parking tickets money thay can grab to finance the garbage removal.
wow the power of wind and water must never be taken for granted, I do hope some people are able to get a go fund me page to buy another mobile homes. losing everything is just so sad and wrong the government could easily help them get a decent mobile home to replaced their destroyed homes. i would just squat in my home and get a lawyer, it will take years to get you ot as they argue the case. the taxes on business is high hence 25 dollars is why, they have to make a profit to stay in business, you can blame supply and demand if you want, prices is how yo9u control crowding and congestion, make it cheap and people will overlaod the system, if it is free it is destroyed.
You have to get a alodial title and a land patient put everything in a revocable trust and control it as a banker as a institution in a none profit organization just saying intatainment purposes only
The love and support I get around town is incredible. Without a doubt your not gonna have this kind of support without irritating a few haters 😊 - the people love me its the pricks and those who feel like they are superior who can stand me and makes me happy I don’t care for them much
Thats the problem . The rich want it to be a private islamd . Just the rich. Well, we are a nation. Our country symbolizes equality for everyone . Rich dont like it; they can leave. No immenent domain. No one is above the law. Not one person make the law(s).
You need a 15 foot high seawall. Someone like Elon needs to buy the land. Get rid of the broken trailers. He can build 4 story condos for the poor people. They can go to the beach.
ELON wanted to buy a huge hotel to shelter the homeless the city would not allow it - he does care - he said the hotel is vacant & going to rot away!@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS

Keep thinking the wealthy don’t make the rules
I lived in that bright yellow cottage on 4th & Gulf. I saw the land grab when I lived there in the 80s.😢 The first wave of those condos.
print out flyers with the statute and place them around
I thought about doing that but its dangerous they can arrest me for trespassing.
Jose is the hardest working man on RUclips.
Yes, he’s the James Brown of RUclips.
trailer park boyz, love that show

Raggatone has destroyed more lives than Helene and Milton have combined! 😂

I appreciate your information and hope this gets to the right people! I love that area as it adds old school character!
It must be a beautiful place before the storm. Hope that everyone would recover soon !
I appreciate so much you shared. Thanks 😊
Thanks for sharing 😢😢😢in 2019, I had planned to move to Florida and retire here 😢😢😢praying for everyone affected by this man-made hurricane

One question, Have you been inside and thoroughly inspect any of these manufactured homes? Just asking.

It's so sad...so many people suffering. The Treasure Coast saw 8 deaths from the tornadoes. :(
Stop building on the water problem solved!
Be safe, you’re sharing so much info, the county is not gonna like it
I am not afraid of someone behind a desk.
The house at 22:00 should have survived but the builder cheaped out on the pilings and only went a few feet down and anchored them in concrete. No match for a storm surge.
The results are clear
There was no reason for that 💯
If the mobile homes got flooded, then unsafe to live in. Mold! Not a land grab!
just saw on the Bay news 9 there is a supplies handout somewhere in Bradenton today Sat. 19th , first come .

Land grab for sure.
Don't they need a license plate on the Mobil home with a sticker for the year like a car?
Some do, some don’t depending on if they have an entity that requires it
million-dollar condos will be there in 5 years

Its why Trump said his house was bought at such a low price so they could say it was worth more ; for the sake of money for taxes.
