What a band! I llsten to them some every day.. They bring real joy to my day. And i agree with a previous comment - Erica i love you too. Robin may get arrested for having too much fun.
Another amazing compilation by Tuba Skinny. I especially enjoyed the close camera work when I could see closeups of y’all. May you play this American treasure of music for many years to come.
These guys have needed a big break forever. Keep following them for a long time. Their club performances on the road blow everyone away....Hope springs...results...I hope.....They sure deserve it. Shaye, for all her effort and the mainstays in the group who have always stuck with her....God bless them all....
Little Queenie, Robin could play “the mater can blues” if you’d ask him too! (Tomato can) Just wink at him once and step back and let the good times roll! (^_~)! What a blessing to hear ALL you folks. Just found you good folks one week ago and been playing your music night and day ever since!!! Everybody is great! Robin’s buddy on the drum too!

Many thank's for your 1:06:56 upload by Tuba Skinny. From France, one "Tuba Skinny" fan since I possess the RUclips channel (august 2012). I like this band he remember me my own jazz period (1959 -1975) - I played tenor banjo, tuba, trombone, piano, guitar in Europe with nice New-Orleans Bands...From 1960 and still, I play lead guitars and worked as college music teacher (civil servant) period 1973-2003. Jo Luttringer
+Marathonracer you are right, he is a fantastic player, he fits right in with every one , that is what makes the band so great, they all work to-gether..
This almost-magical weight burning strategy loses fat faster than any powders, pills, or potions. Just Go and Google Fat Blast Furnace to find out more.
Wow... how did you know my playlist? Great selection of songs. Tiger Rag was the theme song at 2 of the 4 high school I attended (before I finally managed to graduate). Somehow I missed this group until tonight. I'm making up for it... overdosing on Tuba Skinny. Thanks so much for this. Ed
Only discovered them yesterday but what a find. Disappointed to learn no UK tour but hope for future perhaps. I defy anyone not to keep tapping their feet (look at the band members).
Erika had no drum in the first years of singing with the band. She wore the drum lashed to her belly in 2013. From 2014 to the present, she has been sitting on it.
Any possibility that during this insane weater, we could lure you to Key West?....your vibe is a perfect fit......several interesting venues have expressed intererest...Rich
Erika Lewis mi e' molto simpatica .meriterebbe prestigiosi palcoscenici assieme agli altri musicisti. Mimmo. Ti abbraccio.
the only complaint I have is why do they half to have the split screen nonsense, you can hardly make anyone out, just my take the music is fantastic as usual.
Kia Ora. Don't beat yourself (or the rest of us NZers) up about not being able to understand - after all she is singing, not giving a lecture. It's about her voice (and the rest of the band) as a work of spontaneous art.
Murray, These are the lyrics to "Kitchen Man" as sung by Bessie Smith (talk about double entendre!) . Erika sings this version with a few alterations. Listen to her while following the lyrics. Madam Buff's was quite deluxe Servants by the score Footmen at each door Butlers and maids galore But one day Sam, her kitchen man Gave in his notice, he's through She cried, "Oh Sam, don't go It'll grieve me if you do" I love his cabbage gravy, his hash Crazy 'bout his succotash I can't do without my kitchen man Wild about his turnip top Like the way he warms my chop I can't do without my kitchen man Anybody else can leave And I would only laugh But he means too much to me And you ain't heard the half Oh, his jelly roll is so nice and hot Never fails to touch the spot I can't do without my kitchen man His frankfurters are oh so sweet How I like his sausage meat I can't do without my kitchen man Oh, how that boy can open my clam No one else is can touch my ham I can't do without my kitchen man When I eat his doughnuts All I leave is the hole Any time he wants to Why, he can use my sugar bowl Oh, his baloney's really worth a try Never fails to satisfy I can't do without my kitchen man
+Murray Patterson It's not just your "down-under ear" alone. Erika IS intentionally "slurring" her words a bit, because that is the U.S. southern New Orleans / Mississippi type of accent, especially by the great blues singers like Besse Smith, Memphis Minnie, or Merline Johnson, that she gets a lot of her material from, or even Hank Williams, from Alabama, who made "Lovesick Blues" famous. Their southern accents were actually much thicker, like Erika's "Frisco Bound" which was actually a Memphis Minnnie song called "Frisco Town". Erika's blues singing is unique, but she also incorporates a lot of the sounds of the original singers. Funny thing is that Erika is originally from upstate New York, in the northeastern U.S., where they don't have that accent at all !
All very talented musicians making great music together. If Erika Lewis doesn't brighten your day, you must be deaf and blind.
One of the very best singers.
What a band! I llsten to them some every day.. They bring real joy to my day. And i agree with a previous comment - Erica i love you too. Robin may get arrested for having too much fun.

Ah, Erica my sister. She must be good!
That must be Robin Rapuzzi in the second one, but doesn't he look young!
the only complaint I have is why do they half to have the split screen nonsense, you can hardly make anyone out, just my take the music is fantastic as usual.

Love it! But as a New Zealander, I can't understand a word due to the singer's accent ... words seemed slurred to me ... maybe just my down-under ear.
Madam Buff's was quite deluxe
Servants by the score
Footmen at each door
Butlers and maids galore
But one day Sam, her kitchen man
Gave in his notice, he's through
She cried, "Oh Sam, don't go
It'll grieve me if you do"
I love his cabbage gravy, his hash
Crazy 'bout his succotash
I can't do without my kitchen man
Wild about his turnip top
Like the way he warms my chop
I can't do without my kitchen man
Anybody else can leave
And I would only laugh
But he means too much to me
And you ain't heard the half
Oh, his jelly roll is so nice and hot
Never fails to touch the spot
I can't do without my kitchen man
His frankfurters are oh so sweet
How I like his sausage meat
I can't do without my kitchen man
Oh, how that boy can open my clam
No one else is can touch my ham
I can't do without my kitchen man
When I eat his doughnuts
All I leave is the hole
Any time he wants to
Why, he can use my sugar bowl
Oh, his baloney's really worth a try
Never fails to satisfy
I can't do without my kitchen man

Still don't know all the history. Was Shaye Cohn not with TS in 2009?
delícia!
you tube is flag in the sky.
how come I never see any African americans there.?
I luv tuba. But an ad in the middle of a song is a
blasphemy. God damn the
capital ist bastards.
Erika must have been a teenager then.Shaye was away that day.
