A Cello Player in Tuba Skinny? Now I have seen everything lol. Nice yodel by Ericka Lewis. The wood wind players on the 2012 Julie Stomp are totally bad ass. I really like the clarinet player's pure tone, and vibrato, very smooth and pleasing to the ear.
And a great performance of Gotta Give Me Some to finish with.
All members of TS are a delight to hear but having spent many many hours enjoying TS. I have to give the trombonist my vote for the star of the show.

Erika's singing and that bit of yodeling in Jimmie Rodgers' "Sweet Mama Hurry Home" really is one of the nicest things I've heard in a while. And then her smile when the audience applauds was so lovely!!

Wow!!! What a collection of absolute gems from the early years of the worlds favourite jazz band. From the streets of New Orleans to small bars and clubs, farmers markets and muddy fields they will play anywhere and for anybody. No wonder we love them. The joy the bring to their audiences is plain to see, check out the two girls dancing around the 43 minute mark. The 90 minutes I’ve just spent watching these fascinating videos has just flown by. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this all together.

The last tune, Gimme Some (without Erika's vocals) offers a superb sampler of how Shaye works with her team to add interest and emotional impact. Many of the band's favorite musical tricks are on display here. Today I visited the Digitalalexa site to survey the TS videos. I was blown away by how many there are! Tuba Skinny is a national treasure, and you two are a primary way that gets shared. That is holy work, and we thank you.

I think it is really amazing that this band has been together 6 years and is still
going strong. I realize many players have come and gone but Erika and Shaye remain from the beginning. Who else?
