Why are armatures playing Hardcore WoW? I have been playing on and off since 2004. I was in top world guilds, and I'd never even consider playing HC WoW, WAY too easy to die and MUCH too much reliance on other people to play 1 death its over. Even in the guilds we got top 10 kills in people did dumb crap ALL the time. Sometimes bad luck just happens, doesn't matter how good you are. I'm amazed how many armature people decided to play it.
I'm hoping the old guy at the end stuck with it. I feel like he never played WoW a single day in his life so he's just diving headfirst into this hardcore tourney for a chance to win. I'm rooting for him.
Really the opposite take, this money is more deserved for people that have a passion for wow and now can use their experience to help their IRL situations. I've been playing horde for 6 months, I've quested up there like 10+ times and I've never seen that named mob before, so there's a very very good chance he simply didn't know it had a knockback. Also priests don't get levitate until level 34(?).
As someone who barely knows anything about WoW, but is getting into it, I always appreciate explanations of what's going on. Mainly for stuff that's very location-specific or depends on knowing something 99% of veteran players know. I don't plan on playing HC Classic, but it's good to know general mistakes and such.

It was on the front of EVERY magazine from like 2004-2008, TV ads, ads on every website, tons of press coverage, tons of events to get people playing, and even Classic rereleased in 2019. And he was using Flash Heal which takes way more mana than other heals. Dude had no idea what he was doing, makes sense that he didn't understand how to petri - dude had no business being lvl 57.

I’ve noticed a MAJOR problem with people dying in HC is trying to help other people. Playing in a duo can definitely make things easier, but it’s also a bigger risk.

if you are druid, not in combat and about to drown, you shift to aquatic form and don't move. Get rid of the drowning bar, shift to cat form and the swim away in stealth. Aggro'ing shit in aquatic form is the worst thing you can do
