I did this to mines also. I strongly recommend buying extra wire and extending it to another location within the dash and get that Nuetral strap anti theft plate but be creative changing the mounting screws.

It is better to reach the wires if the push button as close as possible to the main harness and install the switch over there. This way thieves cannot reach it at all.

@@redalrt4 you just have to find the connector on AliE with the reference i gave. When you have it, cut 3 small length (10cm) and 2 long (depends where you put your switch). It's very simple. Give me your mail and i'll send you picture
Which one is better 5v-48v or 110v-240v
If they reprogram keys what makes you think they can’t just buy another remote with the same Radio frequency as your switch module or just program a remote? That’s why the manual switches are better. I own a redeye.

I installed mine earlier today nothing work so I just took it off and connected back to factory harness now my car won't start all my lights work not the radio, windows, or ignition start button, or climate controls nor my factory fob is there something else I need to do to make it start up again .

yes I store my daytona this method. in the trunk behind the battery is a black box. take the lid off and underneath is the list of where/what the relays are. should be the right rear most relay... make a video about it.

Good system only fault if battery goes dead or the cheap unit dies your stuck till you fix it. Remote switch is best option in my book.

Take a look at your fuse box. Ignition 15 amp. Take a look at kill module 10 amp. Kill module is not rated to take amperage the ignition switch produces. You're looking at the kill module failing due to over voltage/amperage due to ignition switch voltage/amperage.
I got the viper 2 way remote kill switch with anti jacking shut off one with tracking.
Believe it or not, thieves have receivers that record remote signals and recreate them when needed. They follow the car they want and keep recording the signal till they decide to steal the car
@@wassimSalehdoes them no good once the car is shut off. Kill switch cuts all the power to the button. Viper security even removing the battery doesn’t work. The system detects low or no battery voltage.

I saw one red wire and one black wire on the actual starter button. 2 red and 2 black on remote kill switch, in the video he only connected one red, where does the other red go?
One red of the switch will be to the push button and the second to the computer of the car. Same for the black.

The garage in my house has latches which you can put pad 🔒 plus a killswitch your good to go. Now, if your out and about killswitch and the club 😂 it still works to this day. Now disclaimer, if someone really wants to steal your car especially when your out and about they will either at gun point and/or tow truck 🛻. I follow the stupid rule so 99 percent of the time im good. Oh for those of you who don’t know the stupid rule it’s don’t go to stupid places, at stupid times, at stupid places, with stupid people, doing stupid things because you will win stupid prizes 😂

@Winterjolt don't get me wrong, it's the best set up for a kill switch yet but there's about 16 inches of wire harness behind the start button unless you rip everything out and go behind the vents. or go under the hood and hook up under the Fwd. PDC. for the sub 600.00 price point is a good system on several spots but just like the tazer security update, there's 2 spots to go. I went with igla for the obd anti-hacking, and anti-carjack features. I'm in the auto security field and sell the igla as well as compu star units and love to see these Mopars protected but thieves have a set process to look for units, so it has to be hidden very well. do yourself a favor with this set up if you use it. do not put that key fob with your car keys. if you get jacked in a parking lot, give the keys up and they still don't have access to start.
@Knockout 360 I've seen the aftermath of several stolen Mopars. they rip stuff apart looking for kill switches and rip headliners down to rip out the antenna wires. if they see a box it will get cut. as said below, this is the best sub 600, honestly sub 1k solution to Mopar thefts I've seen but just like with the security updates on the tazer, once thieves see it that's just one more step before they're off.
This kill switch, car lock and a Glock sounds like a plan to me. I like that layered approach to security.
