  • I continue to talk about the Yoga Sutras portion on practice, focusing on the kleshas, or hindrances. This class focuses on the kleshas of attachment and aversion. I then compare this with the Buddha's teachings on these same hindrances and how the Buddha and other master's have dealt with them, sharing a personal story of how I worked with these kleshas in a foreign country. Then we proceed edwith warming up the body, sun salutation, etc.
This is the first clip of that class, which compares Yoga with Zen Buddhism, and ends as we get into the asana portion of class.
