I do like the idea of a cozy city builder, as I'm no good at the unforgiving relentlessly organized city builders we normally have, that said, I'm super burned out on Early Access. I'll throw it on the list and wait for a release. Great video sir, your quality is nuts.
The visuals are nice, but it just feels lifeless from watching it. I don't know how to describe it, but its just empty for the size of the buildings. Better play something like the newer Annos or maybe even Cities 2
Those "cozy" games seem to aim for non gamer audience, which means a lack of gameplay most of the times. And 20$ for the game of this quality is too much.
Yup, to me, cozy games have this hard line of fun vs complexity that they need to constantly balance on. It's also a very subjective genre. Like what determines the coziness?
@@easilydistractedgames It depends on general vibe I guess. Like the combination of visual style, music, depth of gameplay. Target audience - big factor. I think many devs/publishers nowadays are targeting mostly non gamer audience, and cozy is a "nongamer" genre.

Thank you! Yeah I'm the same, and perhaps I'll review it again on its full release.

What has been your favourite city-building game?
Definitely Cities Skylines,
but Transport Fever 2 is a close one, more of a transport sim but it is good
Interesting, the transport side of CS was one of parts I enjoyed the most. Will check out Transport Fever 2, thanks!

Yup! I'm keen to revisit it on its full release.
