You're going to love it! Especially since it can do slo-mo and timelapse, It's just a versatile camera. I highly recommend getting NDs (not to be confused with MDs )
Thank you so much! For lighting at night I don’t go above ISO800 or I’d use the low-light setting. For an actual light I’d recommend the Aputure Mc light - amzn.to/4j0T3eS.
I used manual mode for all these shots, only stitching from Dlog-M to Normal color profile. The auto almost renders the CPL useless since it auto-adjusts. I belive my EV was -.3 or -.7
@@quangpham464 for the ones I’ve used, no, because it does shut. I just have to detach it closed so it will open. I’d like to think these are tough to damage since they’re built for car mounts, too.
Just got a Pocket 3 for work - looking forward to diving into using it!

@@mattspadesoundandvision Thankfully, I'm not planning to film any medical dramas anytime soon. 🤣
Great review & CPL examples, especially the monitor screen.
Thanks! I think that one was my favorite, too.
I didn’t even know this existed!! Immediately buying. Any suggestions for lighting at night?

I usually do night vlogs set between 200 and 500 let it adjust lights accordingly. Unless it gets darker i will bumb it up.
I don't go over 500, unless its really dark for my night time vlogs
I love the CPL Filter over the ND ones..
@@ExploreWithStella true but if it’s bright enough you’ll still need an ND overall I prefer having one filter on this camera st a time.
I use the cpl+nd64 for mosr of my vlogs i find it better as it also polarize..
@@mitp2514 it really changes the image for the best!
What do you do with the EV settings ?
Are you using auto mode or 180 rule with shutter ??
Thank you

Do you think it will damage the internal motor if we accidentally turn off the pocket 3 while the lens still attached

They r such a pain to change and remove when on the go. And smudges r such a nightmare to clean.
This is true. I find if you swipe down they remove easier and always carry a lens cloth for these. Still doesn’t make it easier to switch out.
