I am ALWAYS looking forward to you guys videos. Can't wait for the next stuff about the ITB build and the new K24 engine. I do think you should rebuild the new K24 to reduce any chance of breakage.
This didn’t fail because of power, so being built wouldn’t really have changed anything. But yeah, I’m planning on building it in case I want to turn it up in the future, I’ll have a built block waiting.
Where do I get one of those beanies? My (510g) shift-knob is plain unfinished stainless and it gets super hot in the summer sometimes and cold in the winter, of course.
I was just at the gap!!! It was in a 2010 Hyundai accent though. Lol but when you are in NW ga and heading to NE pa you just have to hit it!! And I agree about the power. I had a blast in the accent. Working that steering wheel though cause the ratio is god awful slow.
@@NappMotorsports I'm actually going back down to pick my fam back up and I'll do it again. I even got my pic from the 129 photo place. I guess my accent wasn't good enough for killboy. 😆
This is really bad news. I'm in the parts accumulation phase of copying your build (with slightly less power). One of the biggest reasons I chose this path is for its reliability while still running a turbo. One good thing is I snagged a motor with just 45k miles that hasn't been sitting long. Any clue what caused the oil starvation? BTW thank you so much for your blueprint. There is no way I would feel confident enough to do this without it.
Thanks for another great video! Do you have any bright ideas on how to get the front PPF bolt out? It's rusted fast from driving it in the winter in PA. I tried a Milwaukee high torque and a air gun connected to an air hose with 450 lb feet of torque and no go after soaking it with penetrate for over 24hrs. I have the engine apart from doing valve guides and I want to replace the clutch. HELP PLEASE! Best Always,
Oh load leveler on the hoist this time… nice. Congratulations again Dylan on the new house! See you at MATG.
We’ve learned from our mistakes hahaha. See you soon

Her Instagram is @K.O.Custom.Stitching
I forget if you have the modified Type S oil pump on your original K24, if not you gotta get it on the new one before it's in
Yeah you need one for the swap anyway.
Love the paint scheme on the track car…..reminds me of the dale earnhardt good wrench Chevy
Raise hell praise dale! That’s what inspired it haha
Is the broken "K" worth rebuilding? Tearing my jdm 1.8 down to get ready for 1.9 ness...
Yup! I’ll build it at some point.

Can’t wait to hear back there! Such a beautiful area

Hey John! This was just some random failure, definitely nothing due to the power level. I wouldn’t let it stop you from doing the swap.
@@NappMotorsports Gotcha. Hearing it was a random/freak occurrence makes me feel better about it. Confidence restored - thanks!
Bearings seize for a reason. ...over rev. Oil pump failure, bolts backing off. What did the bearing show?.

Heat is your friend!
I like these car. Do they look good and are fast? How fast to 100KMH?
I haven’t actually done a 0-100kph test, but if I do I’ll let you know.
You must have a Very Understanding wife!
She’s the best
Interesting failure, I wonder how common that is.
Yeah it seems like a freak failure.
Call me next time if you need hand/tools quick assuming the favorite wife is busy.
Will do, thanks man
Borrow moms nc and refresh the motor if need to.
2.5 swap it!
