You confused her. You didn’t say, “Here is the money,” and instead just threw the money for the cauliflower without clarifying. She didn’t realize there was already money there, so she took the full amount from your 1000 rupees, gave you the change, and then noticed the 350 rupees afterward. She got confused about whose money it was. Her mistake was not calling to confirm if the money was yours, and your mistake was not clarifying, “Here is the money,” from the start. As a customer, it’s your responsibility to check that the amount and change are correct after making a purchase. Unfortunately, neither of you communicated the situation clearly, leading to the misunderstanding.
I didn't threw money, I put it politely on the table. You should know that my hands were busy by the gimbal in one hand and fruits/vegetables that I bought before her in the other hand. Yet I agree with you that it would be better for me to clarify it saying: "This is for the cauliflower".
We find very rare in these kind of places people cheating. These people work very hard whole day. They must be struggling but most of the Srilankans are genuine even though we are not rich
@@shiranthiperera8109 "I also think why did he give money twice?" - My mind was busy by the other things at the moment of purchase. To the moment when I paid the total 520 LKR, I forgot about 350 LKR which I gave earlier for cauliflower. I remembered it only when I was at home, because I checked my spendings and the amount of LKR in my purse and they were different on 350 LKR.
Sir she cheated on you. other seller tell her to confused you and cheat in Sinhala language(18.57) I m really sorry about that. really sad about our peoples. you can take legal action about it. very sorry 😓😓😓

I had to go through what he was saying a few times and then it became clear and importantly there’s a little playful conversation between the two of them, possibly an infatuation as I gathered and she’s distracted by him and her vulnerability as a result that makes a perfectly normal situation to the average person out there seem as if this scenario is out of the ordinary, like she’s doing something wrong on purpose, but my discerning psyche and wisdom that I can tap into whenever my curiosity impacts my faculties, informs me otherwise and its usually quite accurate!
The man in blue shirt in the other counter was instructing her in local language to cheat this foreigner. They both must be arrested by Police. This gives a very bad image of all Sri Lankans. PLEASE TAKE AN ACTION ON THESE TWO PEOPLE. Please................... Please..................... From Canada
No, I think you might have misunderstood the situation. The man in the blue shirt was actually instructing her not to allow bargaining, and it was just an honest mistake, not an attempt to cheat. Let’s appreciate the hard work of these local vendors
This must be complain to Sri Lankan police soon... Because. Every Tourist should treated like a Sri Lankan ! Its a serious case... Please spread this message all ver Sri Lanka soon....

Yes he confused her.
This girl initially was confused. Yes she did cheat at the end. This definitely should be reported. I also think why did he give money twice?

It would be good if she say: "Hey mister, here is your 350 LKR" right at the market. But it didn't happen. She had time but she didn't tell that.
@@TheLastTraveller So you can forget things but she can't ? Nice logic my man
@@achilles1541 I don't blame her.

Wow! At first me and my wife assumed that she did it unintentionally. That she made an accidental mistake.
