Just my advice, greatly reduce the cooking times. That pork was way over cooked. Use regular soy and leave out the salt, oh my that was a lot of salt... and just for something diff try pineapple juice or honey and reduce the amount of sugar to taste.
Rychardewithoutsnow it's not over cooked . The color is like that bcs of the golden sugar and soy sauce. If you don't cook the ribs for that long , the meat will still be very chewy and tough
Cook on high heat in the pan for 10 minutes? Really? I tried to do that and almost burnt down my house. What the hell? The ribs instantly turned black when I put them in the sugar. What kind of trick are you trying to pull on me? Thumbs down
Maybe you walked away from your stove and did not watch what you were cooking. You must also not have stirred the sugar continously as you were mixing it. I did exactly what she did and mine taste absolutely delicious!!
I hope you washed those ribs after you picked them out of that scummy water. What kind of vinegar? There are hundreds. Any Chinese cook would add to the wok the ginger first; not last. And finally, contrary to perceived wisdom, we do not sprinkled every dish with sesame seeds. There is very little "traditional"about this recipe.

can you explain the idea of using light soy only to add the salt? Salt will dry your meat, soy add moisture.

糖醋排骨觉得放芝麻可以理解,但是放葱就这么煮感觉不太好,我的做法是在排骨把大葱切尾成段状,在拍两块生姜放到锅里,等水烧开在把排骨放进去滤三五分钟,视火候决定,在把排骨取出来,至于汤锅里的葱段和姜扔掉!之后过糖浆就不必在放葱!排骨做法也只会家常做法,所以我不是很擅长,我主要擅长鱼的做法,因为我比较喜欢吃鱼,家常做法,糖醋鱼,酸菜鱼,清蒸鱼,水煮鱼,红烧鱼......反正家常做法都会,另类做法的,竹筒鱼,荷花鱼,石锅鱼,石子焖鱼,还有一种烤鱼也叫盆鱼,不是把鱼架在火上烤熟就行,而是先把鱼用特制调料腌制在烤熟,放在一个盆子里,在加上些酸笋,炸花生,豆芽,在加小勺鸡汤,千万不要加多,在把盆子架在架子上,用小火苗慢慢煨,在撒上几根自己酿的甜黄瓜,边煨边吃,每年节日我都做给家里人吃,味道很不错!你改天试试,做个视频出来。
