I'm spying this video to see if there's any secret tech I could put in my Meren deck. Also I'd be interested to see how you guys would build Xolatoyac; he's quite popular I think because people like him, but a bit slow and awkward.
Really like the two directions for this. I'm building it for my wife & may split the difference. What do you think about Jaheira and Utopia Mycon for incidental ramp? I also think Sivriss, Keskit, & Priest of Forgotten Gods might be good card draw.
Thank you for the question! I think it'll be a stylistic choice. Jaheira's is ok but can potentially do nothing at times, the issue with aristocrats is that the commander cares that cards and not tokens going to the graveyard, so without a very powerful engine to produce recursive loops it can get hard to sustain after some wipes, will affect many other parts of the deck.

Both of these builds are incredible for this legend, so what I might end up doing is a blend of both. Definitely have the card pool to support that.
