I've never been rich enough to buy a Tesla, but I am a certified Tesla Powerwall installer. Last week I sent them an email saying I won't be touching their products again. There's better EVs and home batteries available now; time to crush this revolting company.
Understandable, but Elon owns around 20% of Tesla. Nobody (with an IQ above 50) is going to think you support him. There are many companies with Bad Ceo's, but rn this one is trending.
Musk has turned into an insane, inappropriate, power hungry, too busy tweeting clown. I was an early adopter in 2011, had 4 Teslas since then, but I went with Kia EV6 and Audi Q4 because of him. Glad I made the change...
@@Wulf44445 It is only "free speech" for neo-nazis. After they were invited back: Elon personally asked them who to ban. Anti-facist journalists were banned as a result. Agreed also the range numbers are absolutely fudged. Tesla has garbage estimates for its range, the last model Y was doing closer to 240-260 miles when it was truly tested.I cant see this one even breaking 300mi
The comments alone just show how much damage elon has done to the brand. I owned a brand new 21 model 3 for just over 2 years, sold it as my needs changed and was tempted to buy another one, used. I didn't like the 24 model 3 or the 22 model Y but i love the design of this new Y. I think the cars are great but I don't wanna go out to my car one day and find it vandalised.
Please no more Teslas. I will unsubscribe and thumbs down all future Tesla videos. I left Twitter as soon as he was interested in it. I’ll stop RUclips too if necessary. We can’t go on pandering to the people who pander to the likes of Trump & Musk.
Looks like a BYD, but I suppose that's not a bad thing. Anyway, I'm sure it'll sell well enough, but not as well as a car made by a company who's owner has made not owning his company's products a matter of principle for a growing number of people.
It's interesting comparing Musk to Henry Ford. There are many disturbing similarities with a guy who ended up getting the Grand Cross of the German Eagle from Adolf Hitler.
@@michaelrch The thing with Ford was that he loved mid-century German ideology Before the impact of that Ideology was known. Musk embraces that same ideology fully knowing what it leads to. He knows how good it feels to be on the privileged side of autocracy from his youth in apartheid South Africa. He misses that, wants to bring it to the world.
@@philrichmond5919 I was thinking about that -- I really like the car, but I'd be afraid of people assimilating me to an Elon supporter ... so ... I'm sure it will be possible to get a set of Xpeng or BYD self-adhesive branding from Temu.
I don't understand why someone driving their family would want to go from 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. It just seems stupid and must increase insurance premiums. Maybe not a problem if you're spending sixty grand on a car.
Occasionally, parents might like to go out for a spin on their own? What the could consider doing is have an insurer monitored throttle nerf to limit acceleration in exchange for premium discount.
@@KingofPotatoPeople As an ex owner it was never that good. It was okay but it was always behind the hype curve. Over promised and under delivered. Plenty of superior options. Glad to be shot of it and Musk.

It's an interesting experiment the CEO is conducting into how quickly he can reduce market share and destroy one of the world's premier brands. He's done everything he can to alienate his market. The Model Y is the best car I've ever had, I love it, and it's been a world wide success, yet Tesla is rapidly loosing market share in the US and Europe. When it's time to sell, I'll sadly buy the second best EV.
Buying a Tesla was my goal for so many years. That all ended when Musk decided to show his true face a few years ago. They actively give me the ick now.
I get that this was recorded before EMs latest meltdown but these are serious issues and if you disagree with his views you must stop supporting his companies.
Nobody can consume their way to sustainability. It makes no sense. Taking a pre 2018 ICE like a Fiat 500 or a mini and putting an electric motor in it, yes. Keeping a euro IV emissions compliant car on the road, yes. Not driving at all or very little and never buying a new car, yes. Not this. Not ever
The comments are what I came here for would never ever buy a Tesla and support Musk and trump. I’m so glad I bought a Chevy Bolt rather than a model 3.
Please let this be the last Tesla content on this channel. It's no longer acceptable to regard a Tesla as just another product to be reviewed in the normal way, given the deeply worrying political background.
Don't buy new, get from dealer. No money to Tesla. :D Even then..I'd probably still feel dirty. Shame Elon is such a absolute *list on insulting swears here*
@favesongslist yes, of course, don't you? The biggest issue is Musk's detrimental influence over the weak of thinking, political policy, other countries et cetera. I won't buy brands that are clearly damaging the planet or standing on the shoulders of the disadvantaged. Obviously, I'm not expecting others to do the same... but rare is it for a chairman, richest man, to be so vocal on so many world platforms, even against the freedom and rights of others to express themselves... and that's not including the salute.
@CaiSpidox you are spot on. 2nd hand market would still be a bitter pill to swallow and I don't fancy driving around advertising another Tesla on the road, especially if they think I support his horrendous views.
@_gray_ indeed, it's so annoying they are good EV cars with better infrastructure but..yeah..think I'd put a rainbow sticker or somthing..that would counter things lol
It doesn’t really matter how good or bad this car is. Most people will write you off as a right wing lunatic for having one. No matter one’s own personal opinion, fact is this car is likely to attract negative attention, and probably key scratches. I wouldn’t buy this even if I was an environmentally conscious Nazi, not worth the hassle.
It looks like a good mid term refresh. BUT as you say in the description, the actions of Musk mean that the brand has alienated themselves from a huge proportion of the European and UK market. I suppose the question I have to ask myself is, next time I need to charge my M3P at a supercharger, will I go to Tesla or pay extra to use a different brand. I hope the latter…. Which says it all I hope.
@fatbobe1986 Most are bot accounts and people that never owned a Tesla but use it to signale how good they are. They are made because MSM said Elon did a nazis salute on stage, after they used still images and selected clips, so the extreme left are now attacking him and tesla owners for it, because they are so tolerant and never lie....
Thank you FCS for putting a statement on here but is it enough? I’d love to see people start to take a stand. If the media stop promoting the brand, then maybe the company will feel a little pressure to distance themselves from their “founder”. We all need to stop chuckling and start acting.
