As a beginner leather crafter I have found your channel to be one of the most informative ones. You might not have a fancy camera, fancy intros to your videos or carefully cut and scripted segments, but you sure make up in terms of depth and quality. Thank you for making all this content and sharing the knowledge that you have accumulated during your journey. Greetings from Estonia!
Suggestion: Set up a Patreon page, paypal donation link or something similar where people could voluntarily support you. Might not get much attention, but still gives a possibility to give back to you at least slightly.

Modern supersteels use Vanadium which was the key element that made real Damascus, Wootz steel famous. Supersteels today are so strong you can't sharpen some them without expensive diamond tools. Steel manufacturies nowadays are finding new steel alloys that balance sharpening, edge retention, hardness and oxidation. This isn't as important as the Heat treatment and factory edges that consumers will feel straight away. A poorly forged knife will always be bad no matter the steel. Try m390 as it's one of the most readily available and easy to use supersteel.
