AJ has a very calming voice. I was on a 20 hour labor and played every DFB videos…even after the C-section, I played the videos. On bad days, I play the videos too. Very calming to watch. ❤❤❤
I don’t mind the cost. I DO mind the fact that I have to take the equivalent of a university course to figure out the app, genie, lightning lane, virtual queue nonsense. When is Disney going to wake up and do it the way Universal does?! It’s so easy there! Stay at a $$$hotel, get the unlimited fast pass which was just a lanyard and go on rides with short lines whenever you want. Yes it’s expensive but it’s easy. It feels like a vacation, not a school/work project.

Just returned from a 10 day vacation to WDW. Love this channel and am still watching even though the trip is over! The Disney Genie and Genie+ were total and complete game changers for us. We paid a little extra each day to book return times for each ride. Totally worth every penny. The longest line we went on the entire trip was about 30 minutes. Rode on Tron twice. My days of sitting in line for 1-2 hours are over!
AJ and DFB team I always look forward to your videos to stay updated with WDW updates and news, definitely makes me miss Disney and wish I could be there all the time! I’m going the weekend before Christmas so it’s going to be packed but I wanna see it during the holiday and I’ll have just left a cruise so I’ll be in the area.
My husband and I went to WDW for our honeymoon in 1995. I am still amazed at the cost we paid. We stayed 7 nights at Wilderness Lodge. Our package included park hoppers plus water park. We had the old fashioned Food and Fun Card that allowed us to eat at the wonderful restaurants. It also included bicycles, pontoon boats, etc. Total Cost.....$1600. Can you imagine? I think that Disney should have special anniversary pricing for couples that honeymooned at Disney. They could turn the clock backwards and you pay the same price that you did. It would only be available for 25th, 30th, 40th, and 50th anniversairies. I would have loved to visit Disney for our 25th. (If the price was the same.)
I mean they will never go back to the old prices. But yeah, as a european. the prices are rly high xD. Its shocking. Like 1 Week Disneyworld costs round about the same as 3 weeks japan holiday (excluding flights for both). I want to go there for our 10th anniversary with our kid, and I am currently planning, how long, where to stay and so on ^^. Anyway. If you can afford it, i would try to repeat the past memories !.

Did you know it’s possible to do a day-trip to Disney World? I do it all the time. I’m leaving from California on Wednesday, flying in on Thursday morning to visit 2 parks…and fly back the same day. $147 for the flight. It’s totally possible!
We going to Disney world for 8 days we have a combo ticket with universal studios. Our hotel is not a Disney hotel. Our hotel is 19 minute drive from the park. We are going to Disney with the car, and park it there. Now is my question: if we are there can we switch from park to park with the Disney transportation for free? We are not resort guests... Is het also possible for make a reservation with the app for a restaurant if we not stay in a resort from Disney?

Had a blast thanks largely to your advice. My biggest mistakes were 1) Going to animal kingdom on a rainy day(unavoidable in my case). I had expedition Everest close right in front of me while waiting for my party after I'd paid for genie+ just to ensure I'd get the ride in after we didn't get out of the avatar gift shop until 11 2) Booking slinky dog first cause lightning lane wasnt available until 4. Because of that reservation i wasn't able to use genie+ on shortish lines and immediately book my next after riding. Then slinky just ended up getting rained out. I only ended up getting on 2 rides using genie+ cause another of my selections broke down and it just canceled the reservation rather than rescheduling and at that point i was basically at the two hour window since booking Biggest frustration was waiting an hour and a half for tron when it's a virtual queue. Why's disney gotta be so allergic to freeing people up to watch shows or visit gift shops? Why do you want to call people just to lock their time up in a line? It might take from some of the magic but disney should lean further into the app. Guests should be encouraged to hit shows and unpopular rides to be awarded lightning lanes as a standard genie feature. Genie+ should be a premium feature not a basic requirement to keep the peace and prevent people from falling off out in the heat
I juste bought tickets for 5 day 4 Park and i tried to reserved for those day in our march 2024 visite to Disney but i couldn’t do it does someone know why?
for disney vacation package. resort and tickets i was told by disney customer service. if u need to cancel even up to the day before arrival. u call and modify the reservation to 31+ days away from the day you call then u can cancel and get money returned. can anyone confirm this?
Why doesn’t the Disney World website doesn’t make a video this clear? I felt like I was trying to figure out the damn arrow of time on their web guide lol
God bless anyone that can afford $1000 a night for a Disney trip…. Meanwhile I stayed in a 3000 square-foot rental home with an indoor pool for $150 a night 15 minutes away…
In regards to parking, if the normal parking is free for resort guests then does that mean the preferred parking is half the price? It’s usually $40 for non resort guests
AJ, you can only go to TEN Disney World restaurants for the rest of your life, including parks, hotels, and Disney Springs, but everything at them is always free to you and your entire family and team, which ten do you choose? (At least one per park and at least one at Disney Springs is highly recommended, but not required). (Note: Once one is selected, you can go to any meal there.)
Regarding Advanced Dining Reservations: AJ mentioned on a previous video that Disney resort guests can book 65 days out. Is that accurate? That was the first we'd heard about that perk.
These married couples hire coolies and doormats like me to get some work done in the company. Then fire people like me and pretend they did all the work.
They only mostly talk about the apps making it sound so complicated and not what's on Disney world like what are the rides like or explain what attractions to expect. Instead most of the volg talks about the app blah blah blah making a trip there unappealing
I guess you could optimise all three issues by bringing food, wearing subtle detachable skate shoes, wearing a wetsuit while going when it's cold and wet, and only getting an entry ticket.
AJ, you mentioned Good Neighbor Hotel Options but you never bring up Shades of Green for Military Families. This is a deluxe Disney resort and you're not doing your viewers a favor by leaving it out of your videos.
These SPECIAL MARRIED COUPLES WITH CHILDREN have a sense of entitlement and look down upon “coolies” like me who are there in the office to earn money and work. They were given firing rights over people much more qualified than them. They also keep blathering about their children and pamily life. It is so painful

Ditto! Although the more we watch, the closer we get to booking the next visit. It brings the magic home.

Today is the first day that the 50th is over... I'm soooooooooo sad! The castle was beautiful and all of the food was so good!
