**July 2024 UPDATE: This video was filmed over 6 months ago and since then, Disney has made quite a few changes. Make sure you are subscribed to stay current with all the Disney updates! 😊
Super helpful and overwhelming at the same time for a first time disney vacation lol 😅 but is better to know what you are getting into ahead of time then being frustraded on your trip ❤ thanks for the video.
This was so informative. I have a family of 6 that I am currently trying to plan a trip to Disney for 2025. This video helped and explained a lot. Thank you so much! 🥰
I'm graduating from College This Year. To Celebrate, my family & I are going to WDW in July. We're once again staying Off Disney Property. Is it ok to visit Magic Kingdom in 2 Days, Epcot in 2 Days, Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2 Days, Animal Kingdom in 1 Day, Blizzard Beach in 1 Day, & Typhoon Lagoon in 1 Day, which are 2 Weeks?
I bought your spreadsheet and love it!! For our summer trip I was able to know how much I needed for dining and bought gift cards ahead of time through target saving 5% and we stayed right on budget!😊
We have annual passes and go at least yearly but still love all your planning videos! Love hearing how other people plan! Your videos are always a joy to watch!
I also appreciate you and Ashley showing how to do Disney with Littles. My son is 10 so it's been a while since I had to do Disney with a small kid but last year we went with my friend who has 3 Littles and I had your tips in my back pocket. I knew where to find all the Baby Care centers because of you and Ashley and that was a game changer a few times!
My favorite pro from staying on property are the extended evening hours! With a preschooler and taking a 3-4 hour mid-day break, having an extra 2 hours in the park at night is a huge plus. We were able to get a room at Saratoga Springs for $200/night using your DVC rental store which gave us access to extended evening hours. A true game changer!!!
Are you sure undercover tourist could be trusted? I’m seeing a veryyy big difference in price. And if I book my park tickets there, and I’m staying at a Disney resort, will I still get the benefits like access to genie and early entry ?
We went hurricane season this past year (late July/early August) and the weather was so much rainier than any other time we have been there. Still had a great time but was no fun running soaked through the parks 😜
Can you do a current of your favorite quick service restaurants for the parks and maybe favorite character meals? We head to Disney for the first time mid January and I have a 8 & 12 year old boys (I know not your wheelhouse 😂)
I haven’t done a favorites video in a hot minute! ☺️ That might be fun to bring back to my channel and share my top 5s for quick service and table service 👌🏼
Hello so I'm trying to plan my first family Disney trip this summer. It'll be me, my wife and two kids. One will be almost 5 years old and the other 2 and a half years old. My question is how much should I plan on taking with me. We kind of have a general idea what we want to do. We plan on doing the Park Hopper Plus Option for four days. Our trip is also for one week. And one more thing we plan on driving from Indiana to Orlando in June. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi new to your channel here! Just subscribed 🎉🎉🎉 me and my fiancé is going next year in May. I’m hoping the weather will be good, but we will be prepared if it rains hahaha. We were thinking about staying on property, but than we thought about nahh we need to save as much we can hahaha this will be our first time going to Disneyworld. Just going to stay at a neighborhood hotel. We’re doing 4 days 1 one park per day. Planning on using the genie plus depending on the crowd. Thank you for these awesome tips!!!
I’m 100% a newbie to this but just want to add that in my research so far I believe reservations are also still required for military “Salute” promotional tickets.
I did a little research, and you are correct! For some reason, military salute tickets are not considered date-based tickets, and still require park reservations ☺️ Great to know! And I’m so glad to hear I can help! 🙌🏼
Hi ! I'm on the Walt Disney World website and I can't seem to find park packages... When I was a teen we went with my parents and we had a package which had Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Epcot Center, and pick a park... We chose like you said going back to Magic Kingdom cause it was so big and amazing ! I cant find this kind of pass on the Walt-Disney website ? Where do we get that ? Thankx !
The packages are setup a little different today ☺️ When you go to book your resort, it will give you an option to add on your park tickets. You can select however many days worth of tickets you would like and it will add it to your package!
FYI......great info on the party issue.....however this becomes less of an issue in 2024 because the park reservation system is going away so there's more flexibility than previously........
If someone has a park hopper ticket, absolutely! But if someone has a single day ticket, and they chose Magic Kingdom as their park for the day on a party day, they would be stuck after 6pm 🥲
@@BekahHart fair point, but my point is if you get to WDW and suddenly see MK has a party and that was your day.......as long as you don't enter (non-hopper) the park you can change things up and visit another park. More flexibility..........but for newbies....I definitely see your point. :)
@@thedisneygeeks5704 Absolutely! ☺️ Sadly, a lot of families miss that a party is happening that night even after they arrive and enter the park. So that is why it’s recommended to check out the party calendar before your trip 🥰✨
As a family of 3 with a toddler we are not new to disney world BUT the wilderness lodge is quickly making its way to the top.of our bucket list stays. As someone I consider and expert on wilderness lodge let me know how does ghe boat to MK for early entry work? Are the lines long to board is it totally crowded because everyone is doing early entry as well?
Oh yes, I loooove WL 😍 Taking the boat for MK early entry wasn’t bad at all the last time we did this. There was definitely a line, but we waited about 20 minutes for the next boat to come, and we were at MK and through security 10 minutes later 👏🏼
@@BekahHart ok fantastic!. I love the resorts that offer alternative types of transportation modes but have seen even like with buses there are often longer slower moving lines due to things like boats or akyliners not being able to move as many folks at once. Thank you so much!
How much do you think a single mom with one child should be putting away each month if they want to go to Disney in November 2025 with three park days one / two of them being a Christmas party nights and staying for a week flying home on day 8
It will depend on a few more factors ☺️ Where you stay, dining, special event tickets, etc. Check out my budget template! This will give you an accurate total that you can divide up monthly 🙌🏼❤️
I usually get annoyed by videos where the person speaks very fast and provides a great deal of information. But, somehow, you are an easy listen, and you video was very informative yet not overwhelming. Thanks 🙏
You say that it will rain a lot in the early fall too. But when I look for september it doesn't say that it will rain a lot. Is it possible to go in September without having rain everyday?
It can be hit or miss! There could be a week where it doesn’t rain at all, and other weeks where it rains every day. Weather can also change hour by hour. So even if the forecast says one thing, it may end up being completely different 🤪 Always plan for rain no matter what hah.
See my small kids (5, 4 and 3 years old) didn’t enjoy Epcot as much as animal kingdom. Animal kingdom is one of their favorites every time and they talk about it weekly asking when we can go back. We cut out Epcot if we don’t have enough park days to do each park.
@@BekahHart yes exactly! That’s why I shared our experience because I didn’t want them to go thinking it will be a hit and then have it be a bust. Every family has to figure out which parks are more important on their own because it can be so different for everyone! I wonder if maybe we did Epcot wrong the few times we have gone because my kids really didn’t have a great time. Maybe you have some tips or pointers as to what is your 4 year olds favorite? We will be going in a couple months and if we can get the chance to go to Epcot again we would love that but I just want them to have a great time!
Some employers also partner with discount sites (like plum benefits etc.) to offer discounted tickets to their employees. When i did the math buying tickets thtough these sites saved over $150 off the total for a family of three. Time to reserve another character breakfast!

Does the budget template include genie+(now lightning lane multi and single pass) ?
