Here is the list: 1. Grilled Cheese Truck 2. Taco truck 3. Hamburger 4. Lobster 5. Cheese Curd 6. BBQ 7. Cinnamon Roll This is excellent content with substantial reasoning for every meal. It's a must-try idea for start-up food trucks owners. Thank you for this! 🙌
Everyone looks at going to events. Forget that. Make a lunch wagon and build friends at companies by your airport. You can change your menu at will. Easy food to make, keep your prices low. Have the smallest vehicle you can. Rent kitchen space in the morning, Cook your food there. Take your hot fresh food out to you truck/ trailer and sell ,sell ,sell. Post pictures of your food on Facebook. Make it fun. Be a happy person and everyone will buy from you. Big fancy trucks don't guarantee anything. Make a plan and talk to people first. It might take you two years to get the right idea. Business cards, business cards.
I look forward to owning my first food truck, which will aim to do many different popular Vegan options well, and uniquely. I think the price should always be fair, and the customer should save money any time they remove an ingredient. And yes, charge more for extra toppings, but fairly, ya know? Anyway, awesome vid, thanks man :)
You shouldn't always "save" for omitting an ingredient. In all trades such as HVAC, auto-mechanic, carpenter, etc you don't pay for the 10 minutes of work, you pay for the 20 years of experience that gives you 8 hours of work that's accomplished within 10 minutes. Respect your time learning and acquiring knowledge to produce.
Smoking video. So really good ideas for my start up. What do you think about an over stuffed potato truck or a salad truck? I’m looking for my next idea.
Hey Team curd thanks for the feedback .. I have a handful of NEW food truck videos from how to lay one out to how to buy one and FOOD TRUCK business plans for funding! Stuffed Potatoes ( sounds delicious to me)... Yes you an build a truck around this! Offering a variety of toppings and stuffing would be the golden ticket.
Salad truck could work in an urban healthy people area, not in my town I don't think but your town it could kill, people love eating clean shit do a keto truck
I’m planning on opening a bbq truck soon in Texas. Do I need to smoke brisket on the truck or can I use my stationary pit in my backyard as long as is goes from the pit directly onto the truck?
Excellent video, smooth, even voice great rationale for each type of food. Makes total sense. The detractors hung up on the volume of the music, I didn't even notice there was music until I read their reviews, lol, but then I was concentrating on the content for information. Great job, and Thanks! Definite subscribe w/ big thumbs up.
Im an aspiring pastry chef with this idea for an authentic spanish churros and chocolate cafe on wheels. Problem is i have no idea where to start along with building up the nerve to make the move
thanks for the question and comment.... TO BE HONEST just starting ( even if starting is a "small" step like finding out where can you make your product). This is a process. You should expect this will be like an investment putting small amounts of time into finding out what you need to do first is ALL part of the process. When I started I was exactly like you I was kind of all over the place not knowing where to start until I just started. Figure out WHAT you want to make is the first step it sounds like you have that down. AWESOME next how are you going to make it? Commercial kitchen home ???? once you figure out where then what kind of license do you need? based on this. Call the health department or USDA office in your state. Next incorporate, call and find out how much will your food insurance cost you. Create a business plan ( even if this is one piece of paper with a rough idea) this is huge because it gives you a visual on paper that you are headed in a direction. Next where in your area can you start a food cart? Call the local business development office ask if you need permits or special licensing? Ever state is different as far waht agency will be the one to contact so do a little googling.... Damian
@@MarketingFoodOnline thanks so much for the response. I appreciate you giving me a point in the direction to go. Ill drop back in in the future to let you know how things are going
You should study the necessary requirements, first registration of business through your secretary of state office, get your birthday name license, insurance, serve safe, tax I'd number,etc... You get a truck or trailer get it inspected, where do you store it, insure the truck register it, equipment and inventory stocked$$$, power sources generator or solar or plug in? Rent a spot to sell at, where do you buy product, where do you store it overnight do you need a commissary kitchen, and then you go.for it all the way or get a regular job, make the plunge don't be afraid of failure you only live once
I am thinking about a new type of restaurants : eating-spots, in eating-spots, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate this is opposed to current restaurants, thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are way more powerful than restaurants, along with that, there is an app, people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days, menu is influenced by the live input of the people via an app
Quality control would be an issue, one week it could be great, the next might not be. You can spend your time sourcing chefs but you'll eventually get a bad one. You'll also have people dropping out. Customers wont be able to resonate with menu items if they are constantly rotated. You'll need to have an amazing supplier also, because with different cuisines and different chefs, youll most likely be needing new ingredients all the time. That sounds like WAY too much of a hands on hassle when there's already so much to balance as a food truck business. A lot of restaurants have guest chefs that rotate every week. for some restaurants that's standard practice. Its not an original idea, but you're ambitious and that's all that matters. Passion makes projects successful. Hopefully you've started and that its going well 💪
That could be a great seller one of the tricks of selling from a food truck is finding the right events that could have the right customers for the right food. Not every event will be the right one for certain types. One way is to attend or go to a local food truck rally and see what types of foods already are present. This will be a huge gauge for you to determine what truck rally is best.
Hello Abdul thanks for asking and watching ...depending on the specific event each event can vary I would contact the event itself and see what would be the steps to get a food truck into that event. many of them have applications and normally small fees but you can make that back selling in the event.
Hey Jonathan thanks for asking pretzel trucks can be successful , BUT think about a unique drink or additional food products or variations of saesonings your customers can use on their pretzels , dips or sweet version salty version give thema variety of flavor profiles
Hello Meall GREAT question. Sometimes the most simple and basic concepts are HUGELY popular . There can be numerous factors to the success. The menu is importnat but location, the type of events you go to, the season as well can be factors.
You want to start with a simple truck and a simple menu. Food that everyone knows. I'm looking to do a breakfast / lunch truck. I will find big companies interested in a food truck stopping by at the same time everyday. Don't wrap your truck. Don't do what everyone is doing.
great question pasta is a HUGE profit per serving yes you can do that on a food truck the challenge is keeping it held at temp. while selling and freshness. Keeping pasta at a warming temp can make it "unfresh" the challenege is freshness.
@@MarketingFoodOnline That makes a lot of sense. I wonder if having individual serving size bags held at a constant temp in warm/simmering water would keep it humid, warm, and fresh.
You can't have pho truck, because..in truck you have limited access to water... and pho need lots of water to make broth. ( even you already make the broth in the kitchen).
I am about to retire and was thinking of building a BBQ boat for where my girlfriend and I are moving too. Thought about maybe a 250 gallon smoker on the front of something like a pontoon boat. I know I get hungry as soon as I get on the water.

I would look for a busy metro, preferably one that has a target demographic. Sell breakfast biscuits/sweets, Mexican coffee etc! Just my opinion

Nice
Tacos is a must with quesadillas and burritos
You only forgot the Epic torta
Do u think the more original ideas of food trucks have to struggle more to make money then the normal plane Jane trucks that sell popular items
Hello Meall GREAT question. Sometimes the most simple and basic concepts are HUGELY popular . There can be numerous factors to the success. The menu is importnat but location, the type of events you go to, the season as well can be factors.
I thought snow cones would be top 3.
What about hot dog, and shake trucks?
thanks for asking yes these to have HUGE profits due to their cost being so low and the appeal is HUGE as well
Wow I would totally make authentic taco shells, not those cardboard looking ones on here :)
Then do so
Street tacos are the way to go! Taco Mayo, Bell & Bueno have the plain Jane covered!
Sell what people want to eat and drink in that area:coffee, tea, taco, sandwiches, hotdogs, taco and so on.....

I like it
What about sushi food truck?
Asian food all day
What about hot dogs
HOT dogs are HUGE profit food low cost and easy to serve
