He may be underrated nowadays, but was not underrated at all in the 80s, I clearly remember being placed besides the greatest at that time, Eddie Van Halen, Brad Gillis, Steve Lukather

@@donmiller2246 Joe Walsh sometimes plays a Godin , he even has a Godin Signature model , he says they are the best made electric guitars because of their strength and precision detail. There are a lot of guitar gods , Steve Stevens and Joe Walsh along with Mark Knopfler , David Mason , Tommi Emmanual , Lyndsey Buckingham , Slash , the Edge Jimmy Page , Jeff Beck and not forgetting Eric Clapton , there is a few more but I can`t remember them off hand .

Technically, it's not true flamenco guitar he's playing because he's using a pick. Still, all of that aside, he is quite a gifted player. But if you want to hear true flamenco shred guitar, check out the late and great Paco De Lucia.
