Yes leftists are notorious for doing 15 minutes of research which is why they often suffer from the dunning Kruger effect. It’s exactly why they find it hard to read the room and spend more time defending the monsters rather than the victims. Musk has done his research that’s why he’s shining a light on it.

Elon Musks father married his step daughter. He knew her from the age of 4 years old. Elons mother said his dad went into dark psychotically induced moods. He was just out of prison and began to take over the entire household comprising about eight students, including both young men and young women. The investigations into the five towns affected was enough to trigger the national Jay enquiry. That enquiry reported back and gave 20 recommendations.
Reported instances since that inquiry started, and has concluded, are irrelevent as, firstly, the inquiry had already started, secondly, the recommendations needed to be put in law, and finally, it would be expected if prosecutors had learned where and how, as the facts show, previous cases had failed.
The implementation of the recommendations may uncover even more instances, this would mean that those new laws could be seen to be working, Therefore, at this stage, no new inquiries are needed.
The problem with all of this is most people have no idea how these processes work and many are then stirred up by commentators who are happy to encourage social unrest and friction to support their own, often harmful, agendas.

Having worked with people who have been abused; their greatest wish is that their abusers are brought to justice. These guys are trying to perpetuate the cover up.

@@twisteddancer7773 Except that's not what Musk is saying on the subject because he's ignorant of how most things work. As has been said so many times now: hold another enquiry at this point kicks the can down the road and does not lead to justice (potentially not even when it's completed; how many recommendations of the last national enquiry did the Tories implement? Yep, zero). Musk is also supporting someone who almost totally derailed a criminal case against one of these gangs, which would have resulted in them walking free and avoiding justice completely. Do you see the problem with this?

It's outrageous. For political ends certain individuals are trying to convince people to want what isn't needed - another inquiry - while ignoring or blocking what IS needed to prevent further victimizations: Implementing the recommendations of the inquiry that's already been done.
I'd ask the Tories and Reform if they've heard of the concept of enlightened self-interest. Like, you could reap benefit from being seen to do the right thing. But Starmer would also reap benefit, maybe more than you....Oh dear, can't have that, can we!
