Angrons unique ability was being able to take away someone else’s pain until the butchers nails were implanted, they took that away from him and that’s when the anger started, his original purpose was as the emperors mercy

    Slight correction to Bricky's lecture.
Birth of Slaanesh happened at the end of Unification Wars and not the start of Age of Strife. Eldar debauchery and Slaanesh's gestation in The Warp is what caused the warpstorms and isolated humanity's worlds.
Age Strife began after the Cybernetic Revolt of the AI. Age of Strife ended with The Unification Wars of Terra and when the wars ended Slaanesh was born and with it's birth the warpstorms, that isolated humanity, were cleared.
28:10 Also Bricky just skipping Malcador the Sigillite, his regent, confidant and closest friend and his sacrifice as "quickly allowing someone else take control of the throne". It was both incredibly epic and sad.

About the Emperor making more Primarchs, there's 2 things, 1 is a theory, the other we know. The theory is that the Emperor needed powerful souls for his sons, and he took them in a deal with the Chaos Gods. The thing we know is that the Emperor had a plan to save humanity from a future he saw, but the time was tight and he didn't have time to make new Primarchs. A Primarch isn't something you just make. So he had to find them. Also it wasn't the Chaos Gods that scattered the Primarchs. The one responsible was an immortal woman called Erda, who was essentially the Primarchs mother.

Emp's first interactions with Angron are almost a poster child for how bad the Emperor was as a father:
By this point, Angron had had the Butcher's Nails implanted in his head and was leading a gladiator/slave revolt... that was on the verge of failing. When the Emperor arrived to recruit Angron, the Primarch replied that, win or lose, he would stay with his friends to the bitter end. Big E seemingly accepted this refusal and left... only to teleport Angron away just before the final battle.
On another topic, Bricky also co-hosts a 40k lore podcast called "Adeptus Ridiculous" (the vods of which are posted here on RUclips every Wednesday), where he, with the occasional guest, educates his co-host DK Diamontes about 40k. A good and funny way to learn, though it's dozens upon dozens of hours of content by this point.

@@DRMalliVT Since Big E is a top tier psyker, he has a kind of clairvoyance, so he can see the future, but he actually describes it at one point as like being at the base of a cliff, and though he can see the future or top where he wants humanity to be, and can see all the hand and foot holds that he would need to use to get there, the moment he puts his weight on the first one, the situation may change and cause ripples in the rocks that affect the things he thought he once knew...so you never know whether the negative actions he takes are intentional or not...

Hard to say if emps could make more primarchs. I think the fandom at large would say probably not: it was the effort of several highly gifted people as well as some warp shenanigans on big E’s part to make the first batch ( it’s implied though never clearly states that the emperor stole or cheated the chaos gods out of some power that became an essential part of the primarchs ) plus if left unattended those boys could have proven to be a problem given how powerful they are and emps doesn’t like to leave things to chance if he can help it.

25:56 the emperor found angron on a mountain with the other gladiators where they were going to die against slave masters and their armies, he shown up and told him to join him but angron said "fuck off I rather die as a free man alongside my brothers and sisters in arms" the emperor went. "Okay" then kidnapped him through teleporting them both onto the ship in orbit where angron watched his family get torn apart by lasgun fire, angron tried to kill the emperor killing a couple of custode gaurds before the emperor knocked him out and gave him to the world eaters who was kmown as the war hounds or hounds of war, he could of saved the 1000 brothers and sisters with himself and the custodes but didnt and believe angron will get over it while angron became a broken shell who wants death but never got it, he had some amazing quotes in the heresy and rhe crusade but now hes a demon so he cant die and always in intense pain forever due to the nails and he cant die permanently... sad and tragic

There have been actual clones of primarchs. Fabius did clone Horus and Fulgrim but both didn't have that primarch x factor. Cawl also came close but he only unlocked half the template to do it. Meanly current lore you can make the physical bodies but you don't get the auras the primarchs had that made them special.

Fun that you're enjoying yourself. If you're interested in learning more about Angron, I'd recommend Warrior Tier's video called "The Red Angel". It's a narrative story similar to a visual novel showing Angron's early life all the way to his ascension to daemonhood.
Otherwise, I'd recommend watching the cinematic trailers and video game intros for 40K. It's some fun popcorn stuff.
Personal recommendation: Orgyn Story by Warrior Tier. It tells the story of an abhuman ogryn, and it's a real tearjerker.

My friend, if you decide to start reading the novels, I highly recommend starting with the Ciaphas Cain series. The main character, Cain, is an extremely relatable character, and they literally explain new shit as the books go along with how they are formatted, especially if you listen to the audiobooks.

11:25 You’re thinking of the Imperial Guard. Cadia was one planet in the Imperium that trained enough Guardsmen that other planets use their organizational structure for their Imperial Guard Units. Most planets in the Imperium are required to train and equip regiments for the Imperial Guard. Cadia is just one of the most famous of these planets.

Did the Emperor found Angron already angry? Yes he did! How did he start conversations with him? That's the neat thing. He didn't.
Look at Warrior Tier's Channel, the video titled "Angron" if you care, it is the whole story, dubbed by many people. The channel is a neat 40k channel with a lot of good voice acting and good stories. There are a lot of good videos of stories for 40k with voice actors on youtube. You'll get a lot of recommandations and choices.
Also if you want, get a book either on paper, digital or on audible (I prefer audible but it costs), there are a lot of books that can get you hooked, like I did a few months ago. 40k is such a great medium for stories. Like Bricky said The Infinite and the Divine is a great intro to the 40k verse, since it is a Necron story, and you like their origins, it would be a great fit. Also as they are immortals, the time line of the book is pretty extended per say, a page can go through 200 years just like that. So you'll get a really good sense of the ambiance of the setting: Like worlds die, are recolonised, then the civilisations falls to be replaced etc. The book has some Eldars, Humans and more. The two main characters are like spectators of the galaxy around them while they focus on their personnal fudes. And Trazyn, THE real main character, has a litteral museum, and not the normal kind, so you will have neat annecdotes on his fave expositions and pieces. All the while the story advances and you get interested by, what is basically a robot, cold and unfeeling, but that has suuuch a sas, it is incredible.
The other books recommanded by Bricky are also good, but I personally only read "Gaunt's Ghosts", the series is phenomenal (some of these books in the series ARE what makes 40k so good for stories: The human aspect lost in the GrimDarkness). But it focuses on Guardsmen, probably like Ciaphas Cain's book too (that I did not read tho).
The one about assassins, I think I know the story from lore videos and if it is that, it is probably good (did not read it, plan on it tho). But there are so many great books too.
The Inquisition series for example; but I advise to look into a reading order, since it features 3 sagas of 3 books (one is not finished so only got 2 for now) each from different characters that are all linked with each other in some ways, it is confusing to get the order (I fucked up so lost interest in the Ravenor's Saga) but the Eisenhorn one is great from personnal experience, it explores a lot of aspects of 40k. And the Ravenor one (that I didn't read) is litterally a cannon autobiography referenced in many other books, like In Gaunt's Ghost, you will sometimes hear the name of "Ravenor", which is a great way to understand that the verse is really linked together. If you want to understand some of these references, the "Horus Heresy" first book of the series, is also a must read, as many things get referenced in other stories, many times it is details, that got through history. It is funny to see it mentionned and makes you feel smug for knowing about it afterward :)
If you want to go into the Horus Heresy books, you can watch the first 3 I guess, then decide if it is worth it to destroy your wallet by buying the other 50 some books lol
An advice: Dan Abnett is one of the best authors so go check his stories (Gaunt's Ghost and some of the Inquisitors books are written by him). But do not miss out on the Night Lords saga, if you get hooked on the 40k books. And Audible is at least a easy way to see what books there are, for searching purposes it is way more simple than the Black Library in my experience, even if you do not use the app for the actual books.
It is a long text, but if you crave for stories to listen to or read about, 40k is great. I got hooked really fast after binging lore on youtube, I needed more, and goddamn I got served more, and I feel like I wanted to talk about it to a newcomer.
Edit: thx for reading, and as you guessed it, I said that I did "read" or did not "read" but, I "listen to" is a better way to say it of course.

Caiphas Cain is the story of a Commissar trying so very hard to coast to an easy retirement... only to be dragged into adventure after life-threatening adventure often by the very decision that he was trying to stay out of trouble with. I'll admit I've only read one short story: In it, the planet his unit is stationed to is attacked by Tyrannids. During the ensuing battle, he takes a vehicle and makes a break for the nearest starport, intending to book a ride out-system. Instead, he stumbles onto a flanking force led by all of the biggest bugs in the invasion. His unit, an artillery regiment, is able to promptly flatten them all, breaking the invasion. And Cain's fame, and perceived capability, grows...
