@@abrahamvillegas3752 well you certainly could use it for karaoke, but whether it’s too much depends on the quality of the singers 😂 there’s probably cheaper alternatives for home use tbh.
How Do you like your polar 8, after used Looking to buy 2 × polar 10 for Mobile DJing, i do venus between 50 - to 150 guests I will keep my 12 inch Alto subwoofer and one 15" top to, for bigger venue tire of efforts and time to setup satellite speakers
I returned the 8’s because I found the Maui 5’s better. The Polar 10’s are definitely the ones to go for, based on your needs. I’ve had countless people watch my review of them, buy them, and then tell me how pleased they are. Great speakers for mobile jocks 👍
Another great review and demo DJ80! How does the Polar 8 compare to the Maui 5 GO in terms of overall performance and loudness? I have a pair of Maui 5 GOs and they're fabulous for their compact size and weight as well as being battery powered. Also, will you get an audio signal from both speakers using the wireless pairing function if just using the mic inputs from the master speaker or does the wireless stereo only apply for Bluetooth signals? Keep up the great work.
Thanks very much. The Maui 5’s win this particular battle, although they are more expensive to be fair. And yes you’re right, you will need a cable for that setup. 👍
Hi mate, thanks 😊 Like just about all my gear I got bored and sold it on. 🤷♂️😂 Yes these will cope with that audience size as long as they’re in a good position. However if you want some headroom it might be worth going for the 12’s. 👍
No buddy, and not likely to until they release a version without poles. Poles are extra set up time. So my speakers must be either columns that are fully connected (just slot in) or cabs on tripods/ speaker stands. The rcf j8’s are a faff which tick neither box for me I’m afraid. 😬
@@DJ80 the time I nees to take the column and fit into the sub it's 5 seconds less than screwing a pole, the output cable come from the top of the sub... I can fit power cord and that short power cable below the fitting handle! i find useful to have adjustable height for the top and also the ability to turn the direction without touching the sub. However, it seems to be a polar 12 killer in its j8mix version. 23 kg total...
Yes Go to the Bluetooth menu of your player and select "HK Audio POLAR" to pair the two devices. The Bluetooth symbol lights up continuously in the POLAR display as soon as the two are properly paired.
Is this good for karaoke at home or its to much

Bonjour, combien de danseurs, elles peuvent sonoriser avec 2 elements ?
Try the polar 12’s … they are brilliant 👍
I've owned the 10's (there's a review on my channel) and they rocked, but these just didn't quite meet the mark.
@@DJ80 how did the Polar 10s not meet the mark?
@@madness8556 no, the Polar 10’s were great, I was referring to these 8’s.

Hey thanks for the video. Am curious to know what you did with your polar 10s as am looking to buy a pair to DJ. Can it handle 150 to 200 guests?

@@DJ80 Thanks. Was originally considering LD maui 28 G2 before I bumped into a deal for polar 10s. Btw how good is the sub? Cos I like bass 🙈
@@Midnytcowboy the subs are good 😉 but if the 28 G2’s are within budget then get them - you’ll be fine for 250+ guests 👍

Honestly mate I can’t remember 😂 you’ll need to check the specs on their website.
Yes
