The best example I can give you is your Moombahton mix of Incomplete back in 2017 and the vocal chop along with the kick + bass is an instant banger. This song sounds completely hollow. Like you ran it through a plug-in to get the end result, the kick and bass leave a lot to the imagination, and the "screeching" in the melody just loses all hype
I mean, if you're so well versed in this genre apparently, then why don't you just make over the track yourself, send it to him and show him how it's "supposed" to sound⁉️
