Lack of health insurance kills 70k Americans per year. Get some perspective. Besides, seems a bit fishy that four separate people here commenting about this subway attack. Almost like they want to take about anything except corporations abusing the population, then it’s all UFOs and whatever the latest story is you can latch upon.
You can tell he is aware of how many eyes are on him at all times. I know there are a lot of jokes about him “mewing” and putting on for the cameras, but I think he’s also consciously sending the message that he is neither discouraged nor intimidated.
This is an issue about resources available for a rich person to receive Justice that wouldn't be spent on a poor person. Not one mention of that angle in the news, but you can see the understanding of classism in the comments!
We need to push the courts to address the health insurance crisis and recognize just how many lives it’s affecting. This isn’t something we can keep ignoring-it needs real, transformative change now. Too many people have lost their lives because they were denied care, and too many families are drowning in debt just trying to get the healthcare they need. These aren’t isolated incidents-they’re the result of a broken system that puts profits ahead of people, leaving the most vulnerable to suffer. The real issue here is the deliberate actions of some health insurance companies. By denying coverage, they’re effectively signing death warrants for their clients and creating fear for families who can’t afford healthcare on their own. This isn’t just a mistake or oversight-it’s a calculated effort to block people from getting the care they need. That’s the real problem, far bigger than focusing on a CEO’s death or what Luigi has done. We need to confront the root of these injustices and hold the people responsible accountable.
WTH do they need ALL of those law enforcement officers around him for? This is ridiculous. No wonder NYC is a crime-ridden hellhole. All of your resources are spent on the WRONG THINGS. Pathetic.
Thank you for showing part of his attorney’s statement! I’m sad that you also added the statement from the mayor. That was one of the main statements that his attorney revealed that was violating his rights! Don’t further push for his rights to be violated. It taints the jury pool, fortunately our country asserts that anyone accused is afforded the presumption of innocence.
Remember never talk about Jury nullification. Well it is confirmed to be one of our rights by supreme Court justices when is the tradition of common law that goes back before the 1600s If you talk about it during deliberations or to other jury members you can be put in jail for up to a year. I would not feel morally obligated to answer unethical questions designed to take away my jury nullification right. Just remember that the prosecutor must prove the person guilty beyond A reasonable doubt and that's a very fuzzy standard. All you have to do is say "I don't feel the prosecutor has proven this beyond a reasonable doubt." And if you feel that way then you must vote not guilty. Don't get into discussions about the facts of the case after this or you could slip up and end up in jail.
Have you guys heard Adams giving a speech about not tolerating the violence of a woman being set on fire or 2 people being slashed on the subway? When he says he won't tolerate violence of this type, he means against the rich, doesn't he?
Off topic...any idea how much this lawyer is getting paid to represent Luigi ? I always wondered the cost of a defense attorney for high profile cases.
@@tracybrovan3997I honestly feel a case like this would require a $40-50k down payment as a retainer but that would probably only last months before another $20k or so is required. Just ballparkin

Why are they putting so much pressure on this man and not even widely talking about the woman who literally got burned in the nyc subway??
Or all the kids in schools being pewpewed constantly...
I saw a report that all these insurance companies are putting pressure on DOJ or something like that.
Two tiered justice system, thats why.
Because the insurance companies are pressuring them to do so. Whatever corporate America wants, they get.

Never a word of mention by the news that people are angry at the different treatment given to the rich vs the poor. 0 acknowledgment!
The real news is the conflict of interest with the judge and the knew police commissioner and their ties with the health care industry.
