I have an accredited PsyD program near me, Alliant International University, in Fresno Ca. But the outcomes data, doesn't seem promising. Also I have read many comments around the web that warn against going to Alliant, but I can't find much information on the one near me. So my question is, what if you have found accredited psych programs, but they're not exactly great universities to attend?
@@NavigatingAcademia Lol Thanks! How does it work getting a meeting with you? Do you pay right away, is there payment plans? Sorry for all the questions.
No problem! The way the booking system is set-up on www.jayphoenixsingh.com is that people pay in advance to lock-in the session (my first year of consulting, I found that a small minority of people would forget about their session or I would have to chase them down for payment afterwards, so I changed my policy on that). If needed, though, I can do something custom like send a PayPal invoice (Venmo is cool too) for 50% of the session beforehand and then the next month I can invoice you for the remainder, if it would be helpful.
I was considering Alliant IU as well but same as you, didn’t feel confident with its reputation. They seem to be limited options here in California. What other schools are you considering? I was looking at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology too
Verrrrryyy helpful. Thank you so much🙏🏽
Awesome, Evin
