I think they made this boss to be beginner friendly. Look at how OSRS players handle him. They just rush the first 50 kills for the head and bail from it. In rs3 its gonna be the pouch and bail method as well. This is the future of this boss
The biggest reason to fight him is for the pouch at 100 kills. Worth it for that extra space saver especially for people that haven't farmed for the Rascial equipment.

Old boxes won't change with the new table, they announced that with the announce stream, that even if the loot changes the old boxes will still be on the old loot table

i got 5 different spike drops in my first 25 normal kc chests and thought they were fairly common. now ive seen multiple 50 normal chest loot vids with only 1-3 spike drops and now im never goin bak unless to upgrade necro pouch w/ 100kc but im in no rush for it. learned to live without it for past 3 months, wat would another few hurt
After over 1000 hours of arch 120/invention 120 and all the other requirements from a returning player and QUESTS and other jargon and getting lured for 5Bill, making it back, I can say that it is so lackluster in rewards and how can a company be this bad and live off our nostalgia so hard and underdeliver and crush our hopes of gaming. RIP
That's cool didn't know that you can win the fight by killing Zemourgal first! I wonder if that affects the loot in any way though? I wonder if killing Vorkath drops more loot and better chance at spikes?
Definitely worse I make more killing GW1 bosses, which is absolutely depressing because this is the first time I was good enough to repeatedly kill a just released boss.
I've done 50 hm solo kills so far and haven't gotten any rares yet. I'm losing way more money than actually gaining and it sucks... It's making my motivation go down in fighting the boss until drop rates get released so I can know if hm is even worth doing since it shares the same loot table as normal mode.
Keep killing it and stashing your chests. If they buff loot you have a better chance to get rares or what ever from those chests. I'm personally stocking up on chests whenever I get kills
I think that's a little much, the spikes would be worthless. IMO it should do that but for ancient scales. I mean needing to run ED1 for the elite set, especially for irons sucks ass and scales will stay valuable. 1m per kill even at 1:30 kills with the skip makes this decent GP/HR, but not ridiculous and the boss will be worth doing.
Vorkath would have to have around 200-400k health to justify the drops, right now kill times are much too slow for this kind of loot compared to ANY older boss, like fuck sake u can make more on normal drops at corp? LOL
I'm happy with the loot from this boss, for one reason, because elite PVMers aren't getting as stinking rich, where less talented pvmers are getting financially left behind due to skill, I think bosses need to be mediated better with the communities skill level, the loot needs to be buffed, fr, but the trash loot kinda helps noobs catch up
But like, you can make more gp at krill, or vindicta, or helywyr just to name a few, and they are all easier and faster kills an hour...so the helping noob theory doesnt even check out
2:11 I love it when the overpriced paid feature that is in every way worse than a free runelite plugin doesn't work that's actually my favorite RS3 feature tbh.
I'm not even sure if drop logger is a part of the paid runemetrics thing but point still stands either way there's zero excuse for it to not track this on launch.
Just watched rsguys 50hard and wow what a load of crap so not holding out normal will be much better , pretty sure it'll be "dead" content unless it gets buffed or new loot is introduced
This boss is a bit of a mess but even with that being said i've seen no one use anything but necromancy. Its almost like every other style makes this boss a bigger slog. I just hope they explain the mechanics more clearly soon. At the moment the power bar moves at random, some of the attacks are not clear on screen, the lag/general performance isn't ideal and to top it all off the loot is depressing. I was hoping for ancient scales to at least be on the table. Thanks for the video but I think the average person isn't enjoying this boss for one reason or another. Hope your luck continues

I think RS is gonna regress back into the barter system where people are gonna sell for what they want instead of listen to what the GE says. The Vorkath spikes are really rare and it's honestly the players' fault for probably not understanding this and selling them for so low in the beginning. They should probably have gone for twice the value on release day

Im so tired of necromancy. I really dont think the direction it shoved PvM in... nothing fun about doing the same rotation on every single boss with a screen full of clutter from conjures
@mikec5400 there's at least a little room for some variety with other styles. Necromancy is set up so that abilities are dependent on each other in a way that if u don't follow an exact rotation, your dps sucks. It's not at all the same to other styles. If u CHOOSE to make it that way because u read PvME arrow chart rotations like the Bible then sure maybe u think that's how combat is but that's wrong

You can make the pouch.. the one at 100kc only gives you +15 to your bone shield

Tbf I think this boss is supposed to be mid to low due to how easy and quick you can get to the fort and do the quests

Farm it, but keep the loot boxes for now - then open if they change the loot table.

You can create one yourself with 1 ensouled bar, 1 silver bar and 1 cut sapphire, so you actually don't need this pouch.
the potion lamp is really cool. Don't really see any creators come up with creative ideas especially rs3 creators, unlucky the boss loot sucks.

In 33 kills I've got 19 spikes and a codex in normal

My guess is because it's a chest it's not categorized as monster loot. I don't think treasure trail rewards show up either.

I just passed 50kc and I’ve got no rare drops. Averaging around 200k p/kc. Only thing keeping me going is the pouch
I feel like jagex knew this and so to improve engagement with the boss they gave us a good, guaranteed reward at 100kc.
