- So I put together a little home studio and this is the first video I shot here. How do you guys like it? Anyways, Jaein and Erina were curious about luxury brand pronunciation differences, so I kinda made this for them. It's a simple little video we put together, and I know we've done a lot of these, but I hope you guys still enjoy it. :) A like on the video would be much appreciated as well. Thanks guys!

As a fellow American, I can really hear the Korean influence on Dave's English pronunciation sometimes hahahaha. He obviously still speaks English totally fluently, but sometimes his syllabic emphasis is a little odd. I actually find it really interesting to see the effects living in a foreign country and speaking a foreign language have on one's general speech and (especially) pronunciation over time.

우리나라는 영어권처럼 본인들이 읽기 편한데로 읽는게 아니라 그 나라서 부르는 발음을 최대한 살리는 듯 해요. 메르세데스 벤츠도 거의 독일 발음이구요. 심지어 영어권서 뮤니크라 부르는 뮌헨도 ü발음 살려서 뮌헨이라 발음하죠. 벌린도 베를린으로 독일식으로 발음하구요. 영상만 봐도 벌사체라고 하는걸 베르사체로 발음해주고..
한국의 외래어 표기법이 그 나라 발음을 최대한 살리는 방향으로 맞춰져 있답니다 ㅎㅎ
깨알상식. ㅟ는 단모음이라 뮌헨을 읽으면 München과 굉장히 굉장히 비슷한 발음이 됨. 물론 대부분 이중모음처럼 읽기때문에 이중모음으로 읽는것도 허용됨

현지발음으로 해야지 영어권 국가가 아닌데 영어식으로 읽는건 우리나라로 비유하면 서구권 사람이 우리나라 지명 한자표기를 중국어나 일본어로 발음하는거랑 똑같은건데

It's funny how all the top fashion brands are Italian or French 😅 I never really thought about thar
France and Italy are known as the biggest fashion hubs especially since they have so many big name designers. Those brands were started via successful fashion designing careers, especially runway (Coco Chanel, Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Gianni Versace (RIP), etc.) It's easy to forget sometimes since they seem like just companies because of how big they are... (It's just easiest to assume a lot of luxury brands have roots in France & Italy and be surprised if the designer/owner isn't from there haha.)
Milie Yeah I was in italy last month and I realized how many luxury brands come from italy haha, not only fashion wise but also cars!

시계 로렉스에 대해 발음 들어가겠습니다. 일단 저는 시계쪽에 직업을 가지고 있는 학생이에요.
한국에서 만은 분들이 로렉스,롤렉스라고 하시는데 일단 둘다 맞는표현이긴 합니다. 나이 좀 드신분이 로렉스라고 하시는분은 일본어 발음입니다. 롤렉스라고 하는게 더 정확하다고 말 할 수이겠네요.
저는 개인적으로 로렉스라고 하는 한국인 저여자말고 본 적이 없는 듯.. 갑자기 롤렉스가 아닌 로렉스라고 해서 깜놀..

I've heard Korean is a bit easier than Japanese and that the grammar is really similar so I think I should be able to reach my current Japanese level pretty fast in Korean. I can't wait to start studying! Again, love your vids!!
