Even the ones this girl talked about on this comment we are replying to, all had prior experience in dance. If you have any entertaining experience, you probably have some dance experience. Heck, if you grew up going to dance class, you have prior dance experience!
Heather treatment was the worst in comparison of all the praising with Normani and Simone that same season. And I feel that Normani and Simone had a better dance experience than Heather on that time)):
One of the main reasons I stopped watching the show is how unfair the voting is. I feel like a lot of fans vote for their favorite celebrity regardless of how good they actually are at dancing. There have been multiple instances where couples were eliminated due to lack of votes even though they had the high scores from the judges. They should either get rid of the fan voting aspect or give that portion of the score a much smaller percentage.
Same reason I stopped watching The Voice. The most talented singers didn’t win. Only the teenaged ones win because the votes come from the fans who are other teens using social media to vote repeatedly. If they’d leave it up to one vote only on the actual website, not on FB, Instagram and Twitter, the really talented people would win, as they should, like it was in the beginning. Now a very young mediocre singer wins because their teenage fans have a crush on them and can vote dozens of times on every form of social media and do so faster.
I have to agree, judges votes are only worth 25% of the vote, meaning the other 75% of the votes are just fans voting for their fav celeb, most of the time they suck and they are in the finals like WTH
They really should get rid of fan voting. There's nothing worse than having someone who just cannot dance comeback week after week and the really good dancers get sent home.
They downplayed the voting aspect this season (I believe it started after the season that Bobby Bones won) where the bottom two are selected based on a combination of votes AND the judges' scores, and then out of those two, the judges select who to save and who to eliminate. This definitely made the latest season more watchable (aside from Vinny Guadagnino viewer votes carrying him for far too long).
@@Flareboxx agreed but Bobby would’ve still won cause he was never in jeopardy and the judges don’t choose in the finale. But definitely it should’ve been done ages ago to prevent eliminations like Heather’s and Juan Pablo's
I literally just looked at Wikipedia to see why the Juan guy went home with such an excellent score. I am shocked to see he placed 5th among the five remaining stars when him and Cheryl had the best score. I am glad to see the system changed because it needed to happen a long time ago. I haven't watched in years this is why I had to look it up.

Riker not winning didn't bother me that much, because to be fair, Rumer Willis was a talented dancer in her own right, so not like he lost to someone who it was clear only won on fan votes
Sorry. Kellie Pickler was a better dancer with nothing but a background in cheerleading. Zendaya had been dancing (albeit a different style, but still...) for most of her young life. Kellie deserved the win. Go back and watch her contemporary freestyle if you need more proof.
I feel as if that season was evenly matched. Kellie and Zendaya were both amazing dancers - and both with humongous fan bases - so that season was, for me, one of DWTS few GOOD seasons - because the actual talented ones made it to the end. Kellie had more finesse than Zendaya at the end - but Zendaya had more passion for dance - but in the end - it didn't matter to me - an amazing dancer won either way. To be honest though - I think it was Derek's choreography that pushed Kellie higher - he knew how to highlight his celebrity, and I think Val was still learning how to do that.
The most offensive thing with Master P was his absolute refusal to wear proper shoes. Ashley attempted to bring him shoes and he literally threw them on the ground. He would only wear his brand of sneakers, so he couldn’t dance properly if he tried.
To be fair, he’s not a very nice person in general. My dad met him while he worked as a TSA officer and he was not nice! Poor Ashly. She was clearly frustrated with him, she tried to teach him, but he was having none of it. He wasn’t even trying! I don’t understand to this day how he lasted as long as he did!
DWTS is nothing more than a glorified popularity contest. Master P, Jerry Rice, and Bristol made that crystal clear. It’s not about dancing talent (if it ever was), it’s about how many fans the celebs can get to vote for them.
and I honestly think it's going to be the same way this season... I don't even HAVE to watch and I can tell you JoJo is taking the Mirrorball home. :-/
They mention those perfect scores to shame the audience. The elimination is currently based on the judge's scores and audience votes from the previous week. Heather Morris' worst score of the season came the week before her perfect score and elimination. Tom mentioned it to rub it in the viewer's faces that they didn't vote for her. As for Juan Pablo di Pace? Well, I can't explain that one for you. He had been getting 10s left and right for a couple of weeks before he was eliminated.
@Claire Disapia, back in Fall 2007 in season 5, the elimination of Sabrina Bryan was the first shock DWTS elimination that I remember very well, though I think there were other shocking eliminations from seasons 1,2 and 3 as well, but Sabrina's elimination was a shocker and seemingly set an unfortunate precedent of future DWTS shock eliminations. Don't forget about Mel B and Elizabeth Berkley(Jessie Spano from the OG Saved By The Bell).

The thing with Marie Osmond fainting, had nothing to do with votes. She has asthma, and the California wildfires were raging that year, leaving it very hard for any asthmatics to go outside for any length of time. What was cut out was just before the actual broadcast cut to commercial, her brother, Donny, who had been in the audience, had jumped out of his seat with her rescue inhaler in hand and kneeling by his sister to get meds into her. One hundred percent of her fainting was health-related. This was confirmed by medical staff, as well as both siblings had appeared on other shows talking about what happened.
They questioned if Heather should be let one but no body has an issue with JoJo competeing when the whole reason she got famous in the first place was because she stared on... wait for it... DANCE moms
Right? They questioned Heather yet Sabrina and Zendaya had big background dancing (And I don't mean their Disney stuff) I will say while I did love Zendaya on DWTS but once I saw Disney replay her dances on their channel with the vote number I was a bit upset because that wasn't really fair.

I applaud Sara Evans. To absolutely put her children before any show, putting her celebrity status aside, it's very commendable. She is the definition of a true star!
And a big BOO for Kate. Even if she wasn’t very good she could still have tried. All she wanted was a paycheque and then an easy out. I’m glad her kids are adults now and can escape her ugly and disgusting behaviour.
I remember watching Kellie and Zendaya's season - and when they were the final 2, I remember feeling that I would be happy with either one of them winning. They were both absolutely stunning dancers. I always thought however, that it was Derek's fans that pushed them over the edge to the win. Derek himself had/has quite a fan base too.

Season 27 was incredibly unfair. I completely expected to see Juan Pablo or Milo Manheim come out on top. They both did outstanding and had scores to prove it. Bobby was undoubtedly the least deserving of the win. Dwts is nothing more than a matter of popularity. I haven’t watched the show since.
I quit watching DWTS many years ago when awful dancers were kept in because their fans were voting for them knowing they weren't all that good. Voting should have been left to the judges only.
I agree and understand why people gave up. Now they changed the voting process and the judges save one of the bottom two each week which is much better. Usually there’s someone good and someone really bad in those final two making it an easy save at least.
Sabrina's eliminations are actually why I gave up on this show. I remember watching both of them and being absolutely livid because no one else was even half as good.

What's even crazier than Bristol making it to the finals, was the fact that the producers brought her BACK to be in Allstars, despite everyone knowing she was an awful dancer. I'm glad everyone acknowledges that Bobby Bones was undeserving and awful though. They literally brought in new rules about elimination afterwards to avoid a monstrosity like that happening again. However, Zendaya being runner up wasn't crazy at all, I think 2nd place was well deserved. Kelly Pickler was the best, so her getting first made perfect sense.
while I don't think it's right, I think it had more to do with the fact that she had an "unfair" advantage because she was already a professional dancer... just a different style.
I'll never forget the Willow Shields one. I watched the show with my daughters, letting them stay up to watch the whole thing if there was no school the next day (otherwise I'd pull it up On Demand the next afternoon). For a couple of seasons, every time I let them stay up, my younger daughter's dancer would be eliminated that night. In Season 20, she didn't want to stay up, afraid that Willow would get voted off. I told her that it wasn't going to happen. Willow was one of the top runners! Why would she get voted off? It was far too early in the season. She relented & stayed up...only to watch Willow get eliminated!

I love the way they do it in the UK on Strictly Come Dancing, which is the original show that DWTS came from.The two partnerships with the lowest scores do a dance-off the following night in the results show. I hate the same night voting. (I don’t even watch DWTS anymore because I hate the format) After both couples have danced, the 4 judges each vote on who they want to save. If it’s a tie, the head judge, Shirley Ballas, has the final say. I see a lot of people complaining about the viewers voting but it’s part of why the show is popular and it brings a level of excitement and suspense. Hearing them call out the names of those who are safe and those who are in jeopardy is fun. Otherwise we’d know right away just from the judges’ scores who gets sent home. And an important part of dancing is the connection people form with the audience and that should be rewarded too. Bobby Bones made a great connection and if people felt that and were compelled to vote for him more than the others then he should be rewarded for that. In the finale it’s only votes from the public who count anyway and the judges critiques and scores are only a guideline for how well the dancers did. The change in the US to the judges deciding who in the bottom two should go or stay should have been done earlier because I do believe that skill should be rewarded and some truly great people that deserved to stay ended up going and probably because people thought they weren’t in danger because they were so good and they thought others would vote for them. Juan Pablo was an example of that because I thought he made a great connection with the audience as well as being a great technical dancer. If he had been in the bottom two with another couple the judges probably would have saved him and viewers would have seen they needed to support him better if they wanted to keep him. And if he couldn’t get the votes after that, well, even if he still made the finals because of judges saves, he wouldn’t win because it’s all the viewers at that point. That’s what makes the show fun, is the unexpected element of what the viewers will do. And I do wish they’d have the bottom two couples do a dance off like on Strictly in the UK. I wish they would use the whole UK format.
I stopped watching when Tyra became host. It def was missing the comedy factor that Bergeron brought. It has been a popularity contest forever but at least by the final they are usually are all pretty good
Agreed,I watched that ridiculous opening the first season she started and a couple of her presentations,and meh. She like Who will be this seasons winner of dancing of the stars. Now hear it that same way she said who will be America’s next top model.
I’m a fan of Tyra and all that she’s accomplished and how she carries herself with confidence, but this gig is not the right fit. While I enjoyed her hosting ANTM, this is beyond her ability as an interviewer. I don’t care for the time wasted watching her stomp the floor and pose, and she has a bad habit of talking over the contestants during their camera time while waiting for the scores. I usually just FF during Tyra’s dialogue and chatter so I won’t get further frustrated and annoyed by her presence. Sorry Ty!
The hosts were the one thing everyone agreed on. Judges: some hate Carrie Ann, some hate Len, some hated Julianne. Pros: every pro has their haters. The only thing left that people agree on is that Bruno is the only OG judge that everyone likes
Also the "Will the Thrill and Boogaloo Shrimp" dance to Apache from the same show (Fresh Prince) included in the final freestyle. I feel like it was both of those that helped him win.
I don't know why ANYONE would think this show is anything but a popularity contest. If the couples were ONLY voted to the next round based on their dancing ability and improvements, then most people would be eliminated the first few weeks. Where's the fun in that?
Yes, it's a popularity contest, and I guess that's part of the point. Another couple of things that come to mind are how long Sean Spicer lasted and the early elimination of Sailor Brinkley-Cook.
I do remember when Marie Osmond passed out on the show, that was certainly a "scary" moment since she just fainted out of nowhere and left people wondering what happened. Also Tyra Banks isn't that good of a host where she tries to hard to be funny and just because someone has "star power" doesn't mean they would be automatically great at something.
The thing that bothered me about Master P. was not so much his lack of ability, but his lack of effort. He was said to have logged practically no time in rehearsal, and didn't do much when he WAS there. Poor Ashley must have been tearing her hair out.
What I want to know is who thought it was a good idea to have Trya Banks as the host of the show?¿? She should stick to the world of fashion and modeling imo.
The debate on whether or not Heather Morris should be on in the first place is simple. You can debate her with any member of a Boy Band doing the show, and also any athlete who's training included Dancing lessons. If thats the case then you would have to eliminate half the people who won the trophy.
As someone who used to dance professionally, that is not the same actually. Being a trained professional dancer who’s trained to adapt to all styles as literally their job, is definitely not the same as an athlete who’s taken some basic dance classes. The level of dance training cannot even be compared. Even dwts troupe members sometimes are professional dancers, who had not done ballroom before. But because they are trained professional dancers, they look like ballroom pros on the show. Because that’s their job when you have that level of dance training, ballroom or not. Heather, Zendaya, and others who are specifically trained to be adaptable professional dancers and already work as such, are bare minimum on the same level as the dwts troupe members already. If they are just as qualified as the troupe members already, they should not be contestants on the show.
@@samanthalouis7725 except for one thing, by that standard, many of those troop members made top ten in SYTYCD. Heather, I heard , tried out for it, and didn't make it into the top 20.
Eh they brought Heather back to dance with the pros and she also taught Maks stuff that he didn’t know. She should have been on as a pro tbh. She was just too good and if it wasn’t for the voting and it was the judges decision she would have won hands down.
popular vote should only count for 25% of the total score at most (probably shouldn't be more than 10%), not be equal to what the judges can do. Also to everyone saying that celebrities like Zendaya shouldn't even compete because they are professional dancers, two point: 1)Back-up dancing is not the same as professional competitive dance. 2) If you want to disqualify background dancers, you would also need to eliminate anyone whose done Broadway (memorizing staging and blocking live), gymnastics (especially floor/rhythmic, since it also requires rhythm to an extend and body control), and figure skating (aka, competitive dancing on skates).
For the longest time, I was on the none of the above should be on DWTS camp because I was of the belief that we were supposed to be surprised that these stars could actually dance. But I guess that's either no longer or never was the case and I've finally made my piece with that.
I am guessing that computer in the control room might've unfortunately had a mishap in copying down the name of the couples that were safe and which two couples were in the bottom two and I guess it thought that Monica and Val were safe.
Can we cut the bull about celebrities (especially the females ones) getting complaints cause they have a dance background? Having a dance background doesn’t automatically mean you’re good or going to win the show, it probably just makes it easier to pick up steps and learn the routine. It’s still a popularity contest at the end of the day so really it shouldn’t matter whether they have experience or not. Y’all would say going to one dance class counts as “experience”
@@basstt5615 but it really doesn’t make it unfair though. A lot of the people that do have dance experience have it in other forms of dance like hip hop or contemporary. Ballroom dancing is a whole other ball game (since you mentioned little league) that it may help them in learning but that’s not necessary an advantage in the long run cause again, it’s still a popularity contest. All the celebrities that did have dance experience either got voted out early, made it to the finals or came in runner up so again to my point, it only gives them a leg up in the learning of the dance, not the competition
@@andredrw289 yeah i agree it's a popularity but I'm talking about the principle of it. If it were a fair contest then dancers would have an advantage, even in dances where they aren't familiar. They still have all the skills and techniques that they've learned. And they can learn the dances faster giving them more time to perfect it. Not to mention they will end up doing their style of dance at least once and if they need those points then that is an advantage.

She has plenty of dance experience but she got eliminated not once but TWICE so it really doesn’t give them an advantage if women like her, Brandy, Normani, Zendaya or even Britney get eliminated or end up not winning the trophy in the end
Kelly Pickler deserved to win, she was absolutely incredible. Also considering that she was not a professional dancer, she was a singer and a cheerleader in high school, Zendaya was essentially a professional dancer.
John O'Hurley was such a sore loser they gave him that "win" in that stupid dance off. He whined so much, Kelly Monaco deserved her win, she improved so much throughout the season.
I love how they’re doing it now where we vote for the bottom two and then the judges pick from there because that was so many years not being a fair competition. Voting for things like American idol is one thing when you’re going to be consuming those peoples music, but for dancing with the stars, the people who know their stuff are the judges and deserve to have the final say in my opinion!
I remember a season where the rookie dancer wasn't a rookie at all. He had experience and somehow stayed on top and won when he shouldn't have been allowed to compete. He won through lies and popularity.

They mention those perfect scores to shame the audience. The elimination is currently based on the judge's scores and audience votes from the previous week. Heather Morris' worst score of the season came the week before her perfect score and elimination. Tom mentioned it to rub it in the viewer's faces that they didn't vote for her.
As for Juan Pablo di Pace? Well, I can't explain that one for you. He had been getting 10s left and right for a couple of weeks before he was eliminated.
@Claire Disapia, back in Fall 2007 in season 5, the elimination of Sabrina Bryan was the first shock DWTS elimination that I remember very well, though I think there were other shocking eliminations from seasons 1,2 and 3 as well, but Sabrina's elimination was a shocker and seemingly set an unfortunate precedent of future DWTS shock eliminations. Don't forget about Mel B and Elizabeth Berkley(Jessie Spano from the OG Saved By The Bell).

The thing with Marie Osmond fainting, had nothing to do with votes. She has asthma, and the California wildfires were raging that year, leaving it very hard for any asthmatics to go outside for any length of time. What was cut out was just before the actual broadcast cut to commercial, her brother, Donny, who had been in the audience, had jumped out of his seat with her rescue inhaler in hand and kneeling by his sister to get meds into her. One hundred percent of her fainting was health-related. This was confirmed by medical staff, as well as both siblings had appeared on other shows talking about what happened.

I remember watching Kellie and Zendaya's season - and when they were the final 2, I remember feeling that I would be happy with either one of them winning. They were both absolutely stunning dancers. I always thought however, that it was Derek's fans that pushed them over the edge to the win. Derek himself had/has quite a fan base too.
Milo and Whitney was one of my favorite pairings ever so Bobby bones winning almost ruined the entire season for me

Season 27 was incredibly unfair. I completely expected to see Juan Pablo or Milo Manheim come out on top. They both did outstanding and had scores to prove it. Bobby was undoubtedly the least deserving of the win. Dwts is nothing more than a matter of popularity. I haven’t watched the show since.

I quit watching DWTS many years ago when awful dancers were kept in because their fans were voting for them knowing they weren't all that good. Voting should have been left to the judges only.

I agree and understand why people gave up. Now they changed the voting process and the judges save one of the bottom two each week which is much better. Usually there’s someone good and someone really bad in those final two making it an easy save at least.
I quit watching after the Bobby Bones win. If the judges can’t have a larger role in deciding who’s in, who’s out, why have the judges.
Sabrina's eliminations are actually why I gave up on this show. I remember watching both of them and being absolutely livid because no one else was even half as good.

What's even crazier than Bristol making it to the finals, was the fact that the producers brought her BACK to be in Allstars, despite everyone knowing she was an awful dancer. I'm glad everyone acknowledges that Bobby Bones was undeserving and awful though. They literally brought in new rules about elimination afterwards to avoid a monstrosity like that happening again. However, Zendaya being runner up wasn't crazy at all, I think 2nd place was well deserved. Kelly Pickler was the best, so her getting first made perfect sense.

I'll never forget the Willow Shields one. I watched the show with my daughters, letting them stay up to watch the whole thing if there was no school the next day (otherwise I'd pull it up On Demand the next afternoon). For a couple of seasons, every time I let them stay up, my younger daughter's dancer would be eliminated that night. In Season 20, she didn't want to stay up, afraid that Willow would get voted off. I told her that it wasn't going to happen. Willow was one of the top runners! Why would she get voted off? It was far too early in the season. She relented & stayed up...only to watch Willow get eliminated!
That is terrible. I am so sorry. Willow was so good. I honestly hope she will maybe get to return in a future All Stars 2

I love the way they do it in the UK on Strictly Come Dancing, which is the original show that DWTS came from.The two partnerships with the lowest scores do a dance-off the following night in the results show. I hate the same night voting. (I don’t even watch DWTS anymore because I hate the format) After both couples have danced, the 4 judges each vote on who they want to save. If it’s a tie, the head judge, Shirley Ballas, has the final say. I see a lot of people complaining about the viewers voting but it’s part of why the show is popular and it brings a level of excitement and suspense. Hearing them call out the names of those who are safe and those who are in jeopardy is fun. Otherwise we’d know right away just from the judges’ scores who gets sent home. And an important part of dancing is the connection people form with the audience and that should be rewarded too. Bobby Bones made a great connection and if people felt that and were compelled to vote for him more than the others then he should be rewarded for that. In the finale it’s only votes from the public who count anyway and the judges critiques and scores are only a guideline for how well the dancers did. The change in the US to the judges deciding who in the bottom two should go or stay should have been done earlier because I do believe that skill should be rewarded and some truly great people that deserved to stay ended up going and probably because people thought they weren’t in danger because they were so good and they thought others would vote for them. Juan Pablo was an example of that because I thought he made a great connection with the audience as well as being a great technical dancer. If he had been in the bottom two with another couple the judges probably would have saved him and viewers would have seen they needed to support him better if they wanted to keep him. And if he couldn’t get the votes after that, well, even if he still made the finals because of judges saves, he wouldn’t win because it’s all the viewers at that point. That’s what makes the show fun, is the unexpected element of what the viewers will do. And I do wish they’d have the bottom two couples do a dance off like on Strictly in the UK. I wish they would use the whole UK format.

I’m a fan of Tyra and all that she’s accomplished and how she carries herself with confidence, but this gig is not the right fit. While I enjoyed her hosting ANTM, this is beyond her ability as an interviewer. I don’t care for the time wasted watching her stomp the floor and pose, and she has a bad habit of talking over the contestants during their camera time while waiting for the scores. I usually just FF during Tyra’s dialogue and chatter so I won’t get further frustrated and annoyed by her presence.

Best moment was when Alfonso Ribeiro finally performed The Carlton Dance, which gave him the win. He was reluctant to return to his iconic character.
Also the "Will the Thrill and Boogaloo Shrimp" dance to Apache from the same show (Fresh Prince) included in the final freestyle. I feel like it was both of those that helped him win.
The craziest moment was when they replaced Tom with Tyra. Totally ruined the vibe of the show for me.
I don't know why ANYONE would think this show is anything but a popularity contest. If the couples were ONLY voted to the next round based on their dancing ability and improvements, then most people would be eliminated the first few weeks. Where's the fun in that?

I do remember when Marie Osmond passed out on the show, that was certainly a "scary" moment since she just fainted out of nowhere and left people wondering what happened. Also Tyra Banks isn't that good of a host where she tries to hard to be funny and just because someone has "star power" doesn't mean they would be automatically great at something.

The thing that bothered me about Master P. was not so much his lack of ability, but his lack of effort. He was said to have logged practically no time in rehearsal, and didn't do much when he WAS there. Poor Ashley must have been tearing her hair out.

The debate on whether or not Heather Morris should be on in the first place is simple. You can debate her with any member of a Boy Band doing the show, and also any athlete who's training included Dancing lessons. If thats the case then you would have to eliminate half the people who won the trophy.
As someone who used to dance professionally, that is not the same actually. Being a trained professional dancer who’s trained to adapt to all styles as literally their job, is definitely not the same as an athlete who’s taken some basic dance classes. The level of dance training cannot even be compared. Even dwts troupe members sometimes are professional dancers, who had not done ballroom before. But because they are trained professional dancers, they look like ballroom pros on the show. Because that’s their job when you have that level of dance training, ballroom or not. Heather, Zendaya, and others who are specifically trained to be adaptable professional dancers and already work as such, are bare minimum on the same level as the dwts troupe members already. If they are just as qualified as the troupe members already, they should not be contestants on the show.

Eh they brought Heather back to dance with the pros and she also taught Maks stuff that he didn’t know. She should have been on as a pro tbh. She was just too good and if it wasn’t for the voting and it was the judges decision she would have won hands down.
popular vote should only count for 25% of the total score at most (probably shouldn't be more than 10%), not be equal to what the judges can do.
Also to everyone saying that celebrities like Zendaya shouldn't even compete because they are professional dancers, two point: 1)Back-up dancing is not the same as professional competitive dance. 2) If you want to disqualify background dancers, you would also need to eliminate anyone whose done Broadway (memorizing staging and blocking live), gymnastics (especially floor/rhythmic, since it also requires rhythm to an extend and body control), and figure skating (aka, competitive dancing on skates).
For the longest time, I was on the none of the above should be on DWTS camp because I was of the belief that we were supposed to be surprised that these stars could actually dance. But I guess that's either no longer or never was the case and I've finally made my piece with that.
I am guessing that computer in the control room might've unfortunately had a mishap in copying down the name of the couples that were safe and which two couples were in the bottom two and I guess it thought that Monica and Val were safe.

Can we cut the bull about celebrities (especially the females ones) getting complaints cause they have a dance background? Having a dance background doesn’t automatically mean you’re good or going to win the show, it probably just makes it easier to pick up steps and learn the routine. It’s still a popularity contest at the end of the day so really it shouldn’t matter whether they have experience or not. Y’all would say going to one dance class counts as “experience”
Honestly. These are ballroom dances not the type that these famous people are accustomed to.

Ballroom dancing is a whole other ball game (since you mentioned little league) that it may help them in learning but that’s not necessary an advantage in the long run cause again, it’s still a popularity contest. All the celebrities that did have dance experience either got voted out early, made it to the finals or came in runner up so again to my point, it only gives them a leg up in the learning of the dance, not the competition

They still have all the skills and techniques that they've learned. And they can learn the dances faster giving them more time to perfect it. Not to mention they will end up doing their style of dance at least once and if they need those points then that is an advantage.

John O'Hurley was such a sore loser they gave him that "win" in that stupid dance off. He whined so much, Kelly Monaco deserved her win, she improved so much throughout the season.
She also had a ruptured eardrum from a stunt gone wrong. So the first couple of weeks her balance was off.
Yeah, I remember also, when the judges were criticizing her for not smiling, she had just had oral surgery. Girl's a trooper, lol.

I love how they’re doing it now where we vote for the bottom two and then the judges pick from there because that was so many years not being a fair competition. Voting for things like American idol is one thing when you’re going to be consuming those peoples music, but for dancing with the stars, the people who know their stuff are the judges and deserve to have the final say in my opinion!
