Excelent Lesson ! Thank you very much I See you got Experience! Strength in the Hips is very important to be quick and powerful also footwork as you show! Bravo!!
Going into the gym tomorrow to implement this. There’s another guy on here that teaches something similar and a bit more in-depth, using Tyson’s slip & shift gem, which Tyson used to such great effect in his early bid for the heavyweight championship. It’s all good when it’s taught intelligently and executed cleanly, like this coach. Thanks for the lesson.
You are an excellent teacher, man. You are obviously very knowledgeable. If you find the time, I could benefit greatly from a video showing how to make training without a partner as effective and realistic as possible (such as shadow boxing and various bags). To use as much footwork, strategy, and various techniques, to have home training be as productive as possible, and prepare us for different scenarios, such as finishing an opponent, or evading when we get hurt. If you don't want to do this, I understand. But thank you for sharing your expertise and keep up the great work!
Agreed...I usually advice our young fighters to stick to strength and conditioning outside of the boxing gym. Things like long base building runs (5-10 miles), sprint intervals, hill sprints, plyometric/agility drills, calisthenics/lifting, etc. And do boxing specific drills in the gym where a trainer can supervise them and give them feedback/corrections.
Awesome Video. I can see why the video is labeled advanced due to the use of angles. You can always tell who the boxers/fighters are from those guys who just hit the bag by the way they use head movement and angles.
Coach Daskalo is one of those "Best coaches you probably never heard of." These are few a far between but he truly is one of the most "Ring Smart" coaches I have ever known. Every time I talk to him I pick up something...and this is saying allot considering I have been in this game for so long!
I loved the video man and liked it (thumbs up), and I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on my technique, dubbed the 'Ascot Sequence', a specific 2 blow combo. I humbly prefer slight impact shadowboxing on a hard area, to trigger "wolff's law" as much as possible. What is your honest opinion about the "AS", if you would be kind enough to accept this invitation?
I've worked out on traditional heavy bags ruclips.net/user/postUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.
Try the triple left jab.. Left hook... Double left jab... Triple left hook. Sounds left hand heavy but if you finish on a right hand they won't know what hit them. Works for me
Sorry.. Double left hook Is the first phase of left hooks followed with a second phase of jabs. Let's you slip into the left hooks on the 2nd phase easier. Allowing for the 3rd phase to flow
this deserves more views so that it becomes one of the top result for heavy bag searches. it will be very helpful for beginner boxers.
Don Lucky fuck that is called advanced and ain’t advanced at all lol

Great video thank you.
The benefits of a bag that *doesn't* hang from a steel frame. You can shift angles.
All the video is good, however, the most part to keep in mind is the importance of the weight shifting
MCG he explains that..
Thank you sir!..respect

Hard jabs to start then soft jabs and finish on hard jabs
Left hook medium power and mix up to full power so they feel if full force when it counts. Great video otherwise keep it up!
