thanks - it was a lot better when i was boxing but for 50 years old it's just about passable these days! It's all about passing the skills on to the young boxers - hoping they enjoy the sport too !
Gingercore69 i'm glad you find it useful. Yes you can add that to it. In fact it is the very next steps i teach but this video was too long already so I didn't add the progressions to which you refer. Sometimes I add a second line of cones to help this but it's optional really
BoxerciseLtd im also comfortable switching stances, so ill have to practice this from both sides to make the most out of it... Do you think i could use tape instead of cones? My gym doesnt have cones qnd neither do i
Yes you could but a simple alternative is those cheap plastic cups you get for water fountains- that's what i used in the video as it doesn't matter when they get stepped on
BoxerciseLtd well, i live in the middle of nowhere, i would need to travel to the city to buy plastic cups... Doesnt seem to be worth the money to travel there and back xD
Joel Karnas - You must be a Millennial. Great stuff for FREE and you're complaining about wanting more. Pay the $25 and get the whole course. Come up out of your mommy's basement and ask her for your allowance.
Sam you can do that as a drill - you need a second line of cups - we do that drill occasionally but i have found that teaching them separately is a bit easier. Thanks for the comment though!
BoxerciseLtd I would love to see that one! It has bothered me since I started that on the pads you step in to jab and your opponents head is meant to be in range for the lead hook. One spar will teach you this is never the case.
yes this is an intermediate level drill - not basic at all. Our footwork system has all the basic drills to try before someone should attempt this drill
Gennady R I suggest a Flouride detox (effects critical thinking ability) and a heavy metal detox (clear your mind to be able to recieve information). It's not your fat but you can do something about it.
Your teaching technique is very nice.
thanks !

Nice drill! Thanks! will try this tomorrow at my workout
Tomasz how did you get on with the drill?
Hi! I have struggled with getting right angle when moving back. So I practiced very slowly and slowy speeding up. Getting better with this
Well done Tomasz - yes do practise slowly as it is not easy to do at all, when you are confident then speed up
Muito bom. Parabéns
thanks !
Good feet man. Nice one.

@@The-Contractor i've only just read this now but i laughed my head off - brilliant !
The lack of appreciation demonstrated by certain generations as a whole is appalling to the point of being hilarious!!!
@@The-Contractor you're dead right !
Like this as it's much more realistic, except you start in range rather than stepping in with a jab, which would make it even better imo

agreed especially as the head will back move once hit anyway, if i get time i will do an additional video with the second row of cups

😂
Too much talk and not enough demonstration...I'm out.
au revoir then xxx
I am dizzy watching this disaster.... and I'm being "precise" by telling you that. You will confuse any human being with this crap
thanks for your comments lol xx
Gennady R says the nobody 😂😂😂 will you upload your version ???

@@carpejkdiem hilarious ! I doubt he's listening unfortunately though !
I’d catch that guy coming in with a nasty overhand over his jab see how well your feet move laying on your back haha.
Jumping in is never a good idea
sounds like a challenge LOL
