    I unplugged the MAF and she runs perfect. Doesn’t stall out. Wish I would’ve tried that before publishing this. Doh! 🤦🏼‍♂️

    • @cmann333
      @cmann333 5 лет назад

      Unplugging the MAF will make it a set value in CPU that doesn't change. Look at the MAF as just a measuring device. No MAF + no signal = default set value.

      @@cmann333 is the default set value a good thing, or a set back?

    Looking and sounding fantastic mate! Nice work.
    I'd probably go with the wheels as is but more cause I'm lazy than looks, black would be sweet too. The headlights are joined cause they're for a motorbike. They'll probably fit in place of a large single unit like on the CB Honda's.

    I like it! My vote is to use matte black Plastidip for the rims. I did this to my set of race rims for my Boss and they look amazing!
    Either way man, the car looks awesome!

    • @AaronBuley
      @AaronBuley  5 лет назад

      +Andy and Angela Menard does plastidip come off easily though? I’ve been not wanting to use it thinking that. Figured I’d just use a rattle can.

    • @andrewdoherty7525

      Don't do it 2010s plasti dip craze = 2000s terrible painted car interior craze
      Everyone is doing it and it looks horrible 5 days later

    My two cents. Wheels stay aluminum. Gives some contrast to break up the dark.

    honestly? what do i think? wellll i think when a guy builds his hotrod from basically scratch he earns the right to not have to care what anyone thinks.... you sir are doing an awesome job on this build and i hope its everything you hoped it would be when complete im sure its gonna be a work of fast functional art....

  • @V8Hunter7
    @V8Hunter7 5 лет назад +1

    Subbed! The build overall seems pretty straightforward without too many headaches (most difficult being running the wiring). Is that actually the case? In future vids, if you could speak to how you go about making this street legal that would be helpful! Keep up the good work.

    • @AaronBuley
      @AaronBuley  5 лет назад +4

      absolutely. yes, it's pretty easy, just takes time. and you're right, the wiring is easily the most difficult part. i'll absolutely cover the process of making it street legal. i'm glad you appreciate the content! :D are you thinking about building one?

    Keep the muffler off, just extra weight ;) At the moment the rims look great, but wait until you get the black hood on and see what you think then, you might be able to do a two tone with black and crimson.

    • @AaronBuley

      depends on what "worth it" means to you. to me, this was a dream i had for 2 years while going through chemo and recovery from that. so, the money wasn't even something i was thinking about. :)

      @@mosheweisz1087 Depends on options and how much your donor cost. You can do it for less than $15k for sure, just might not be as polished.

    Whoa! Stop! Don’t know if anyone told you this yet in seeing this but DO NOT run your power cables anywhere near your wire harness lines.. you’ll have all sorts of feedback issues and computer issues you’ll never be able to sort out later down the line..
