This one was about 25k but there's plenty of guys that are about 15k into theirs. Not sure how many total hours. It took about 6 hours to strip the Cobalt. The final build took about 4 full days. The wire harness took the most time by far so if I did it again I think I'd just pay to have the harness built by DF.
Yeah, we had everything prepped and ready to install when the kit arrived. The harness was by far the hardest and most time consuming part of the whole build so it'll be a good idea to use the time while waiting to get that done and out of the way!
@@WOTclub I got the last of the run of the short chassis before they discontinued! Made my purchase at 11:55 Dec 31. The build is ongoing. 06, 2.0 with Supercharger yet in automatic. So I've dubbed it The Hobgoblin.
What an honor that must be! I was going to sell mine to build another but then I realized I can't do that because mine will be rare one day being the standard frame. So I guess I'll just have to have 2 Goblins!

You'll fit! The only frame they sell now is the extended version so height isn't an issue and you can use thinner seats like Kirkwy or something to accommodate the width!

I have an 07 SS Supercharged and I'm never selling it because of the Goblin 🤞🏾🦾🙌🏿...once I stage 2 it I know the only potential left is this kit ❤

I am thinking about building one of these after my current build. Was there many modifications you had to do to make it work?
Not really, the kit is very complete and easy to assemble. I did a lot of modifications just because I wanted it to perform even better.

ahh so you made the harness and stripped it before hand, should of made it a lot easier. I just ordered mine and think I will do this.

You can send it to them to be ready to drop into the car
There's some issues with that too so I'd recommend doing it yourself but if you really can't do it then yeah, having them do it for you is an option.
